Richard drops the paperwork after he was done signing on them, his eyes went to Kristin, and she was already sleeping. Her head moving sideways.

He walked up to her and squatted close to Kristin who was sleeping soundly, caring less if the world might come to an end tomorrow.

“You’re lucky Peanut, at least you get to sleep anytime you feel like” His voice whispers.

He took turns observing Kristin’s face.

This will be the first time he’d be looking at her closely, but he was just too stubborn to admit that she is beautiful.

He carried her from the couch and placed her on the giant bed. The bed was wide enough to contain a family of six.

Richard lay on the bed next to Kristin, his gray eyes not leaving her face for a second.

He kept on watching Kristin’s face like a soap opera, until he fell asleep, holding her little fragile hand.

Laughter filled the air as a group of married women gathered to discuss their marriage and status in Las Vegas.

They settled into comfortable chairs, each and everyone dressed elegant. It was easy to tell that these women were married to influential men.

Among these women, sits Cecelia, the wife of Luke.

The women were seven in number and they were all friends from college.

“Whoa! I love your necklace and earrings, Cecelia, “one of the women said.

It was the lariat necklace and earring set Luke got for her. She wore it to the gathering to show off.

“Thanks, Chloe. My darling husband got it for me as a gift” Cecelia said proudly.

“You’re proud wearing a lariat necklace and earring set?” A lady’s voice halted Cecelia from smiling.

That was, Tamara – Cecelia’s enemy.

They have never gotten along since college days, because Tamara has always gotten what Cecelia longs for, a rich lifestyle and an influential husband.

“I didn’t ask for your opinion, Tamara,” Cecelia sneered.

“Yes you didn’t, but we are all sitting here together and I have ears to listen. If you came here to show off a common lariat necklace and earring set, your darling husband got you, what should I do?” Tamara asked, showing off the sapphire birthstone ring she was wearing.

Cecelia’s jaw dropped on seeing the ring on Tamara’s finger.

“It’s so beautiful and expensive, Tamara,” A lady giggles.

“Of course it should be. It was customized for me by my husband in Sweden.

Love isn’t the only thing a woman needs in a marriage, she needs a rich man to take care of her” Tamara said, making mockery of Cecelia.

Cecelia clenched her hands tightly under the table, and she stood up from her seat.

“I’m leaving”

“Of course you should, gatherings like this aren’t met for the wife of a common personal assistant anyways” Tamara smirked at Cecelia in a mockery.

Cecelia glared at Tamara before walking out of the room, and on her way out, she talked with someone on the phone.

“Let’s meet up” She said to the man on the other side of the phone.

Richard walked around the resort in his hotel, observing the news faces of the people that had come to his resort.

There were a lot of celebrities and influencers who came to the resort to make videos and commercials.

This was one of the reasons why Glamour Empire hotel is popular in Las Vegas. It has the best structure and beautiful views to create commercials and shows.

There’s also a casino and a spa arena for guests to enjoy themselves and feel like they’re in heaven.

“Richard Hernandez”

Richard turned to see who had called his name, and it happened to be Lewis.

“Should I send him away?” Luke asked.

“Let it slide, Luke. I will join you shortly” Richard replied.
