**GLAMOUR EMPIRE HOTEL**
Richard sat down with Julio, fully aware of why he had come to see him.
“My wife didn’t do that to Adriana without a reason.”
“I know, and that’s why I came. What actually happened? What prompted Kristin to hit Adriana? I know her to be a sweet girl.”
Richard hesitated before revealing the truth; he wasn’t a good liar, and that’s why he told Julio everything Adriana had done without leaving anything out.
“Adriana did that?”
“You know I won’t lie to you, Dad. When I told my wife, she got angry, and that’s why she confronted her,” Richard said.
“I know Kristin won’t harm Adriana without a reason. Adriana has changed so much from what she used to be.”
“What was she like when she was a kid?” Richard asked.
“She used to be a calm child; she hardly talked. That’s why I am surprised to see what she has grown up to be.”
“It’s been twenty years, Dad. Twenty years without you by her side. You don’t expect her to be the same quiet girl.”
“I should confront her about what she did.”
“You don’t have to, Dad.”
“Why not? She lied about Kristin hurting her without a reason. I don’t know what’s going on in her head for her to strip naked in front of you, but I need to confront her about it. Ophelia would’ve done that to Kristin if I hadn’t threatened to divorce her.”
“I just want a peaceful life, Dad. Ophelia hates me, and that won’t change, but I don’t want to have anything to do with her. I have a family; I want to keep them out of trouble,” Richard said.
“Are you really accepting Kristin’s daughter as your own?”
Richard nodded.
“Well, I do hope our life will be peaceful, just like you want it to be, Richard. I feel that it’s going to get complicated sooner or later.”
“Why do you feel that way, Dad?”
Julio looked at Richard, guilt evident in his eyes.
“I committed a sin, and I feel it’s coming back to haunt me, and it’s going to affect everyone,” Julio said, while Richard furrowed his eyebrows, wondering what he meant.

Romina kept dragging Luke to the venue where the concert was being held. It was late already, but it didn’t look like it because a lot of people had gathered to listen to a band perform.
It was a street concert, and their fans were gathered around to watch them sing.
“Come on, Luke, faster! I won’t have the perfect spot to watch my idols perform!”
“Why are you a fan of theirs anyway? They’re just a local street band,” Luke asked as he walked with her.
“That’s why I’m their fan. I might not be a fan of big celebrities, but I support small ones,” Romina said, and Luke chuckled.
When they arrived, people were already gathered, blocking Romina’s view of her idols.
“Oh no! I can’t see their faces!” Romina said, jumping on her feet as she tried to get a better view. She couldn’t push people aside just to get to the center; they’d gang up on her.
“I want to see their faces!” She jumped on her feet again.
Luke looked at her for a swift moment before squatting in front of her.
“What are you doing?” she asked.
“You want to see your idols, right? Hop on,” Luke said, tapping his shoulder.
Romina smiled shyly. “I’m not a baby, Luke.”
“Do you want to see your idols or not?”
“Yes, I do.”
“Then get on my shoulders before I change my mind.” Luke said.
Romina smiled shyly before climbing onto his back, and Luke carefully adjusted her on his shoulders.
“Can you see them now?”
“Yes, I can! They look handsome! Whoa! I love Ren’s new hairstyle. Whoa! Ken is wearing the trending jacket!” Romina exclaimed excitedly, forgetting she was on someone’s shoulders.
