INTO THE DEPTHS OF LOVE : CHAPTER 161 – 170
Adriana sobbed, her tears flowing like a river.
“I’m sorry. I’ll forget my feelings for Richard. Just leave my family alone. I’ll do anything you ask,” Adriana pleaded.
Tabitha smirked and crouched down, wiping Adriana’s tears.
“You know I care about you, Adriana, but you tend to make me angry,” Tabitha said, smiling falsely. Adriana knew the words were empty.
Tabitha was nothing but a psychopath bent on revenge.
“You’ll do anything I want, right?” she asked, still wiping Adriana’s tears. Adriana had no choice but to nod.
“Then kill Richard’s daughter.”
Adriana’s eyes widened in horror. “You want me to kill Richard’s daughter?” she asked.
She had said she’d do anything, but killing the child of the man she loved was something she couldn’t bear.
“I know you’re not deaf, Adriana,” Tabitha said venomously.
“Ask me to do anything else, but not kill a little girl,” Adriana sobbed.
“Is it because she’s a child or because she’s Richard’s daughter?” Tabitha asked, but Adriana’s tearful hiccups gave her the answer.
Tabitha placed the gun in Adriana’s hand.
“You have three hours to kill that child,” she said, leaning close to Adriana’s ear.
“Or your family will die instead,” Tabitha whispered menacingly.
INTO THE DEPTHS OF LOVE : CHAPTER 161 – 170
The city of Las Vegas was in chaos, thanks to Richard, who had shut down the city. The FBI was stationed on every corner, checking every car.
Even Kathryn’s school had been closed until Richard found his daughter.
“The whole city is blaming you for using your influence to shut down movement, Richard,” Luke said, watching the online backlash.
“I don’t care! My daughter is missing. If I don’t find her, no one will walk freely!” Richard’s baritone voice thundered.
Luke knew it had been a long time since Richard had reacted like this.
He hesitated to speak, knowing one wrong word could set Richard off.
They had already checked the CCTV footage from the zoo at the time of Kathryn’s abduction, but it showed nothing. Tabitha had made sure of that.
“The FBI is still checking every car on the roads in Las Vegas, but they haven’t found anything,” Luke said, offering a suggestion.
Kristin sat in the corner, crying, while Romina and Gladys tried to comfort her. Julio was present as well, but Ophelia couldn’t care less and stayed at home watching her favorite shows.
“I can’t just sit here and do nothing. I need to find my daughter,” Kristin said, attempting to leave, but Richard stopped her.
“You can’t, Forevermore.”
“Why? Because I’m pregnant? Who cares about the unborn child when my six-year-old daughter is missing? She’s stubborn, but she’s still a kid!” Kristin cried, her voice breaking.
“I’m doing everything I can to find her. I’m about to lose my mind, so please, Forevermore, just stay calm. I swear on my life that nothing will happen to our daughter,” Richard assured her, and Kristin wept.
“Romina, Mom Gladys.”
“Yes, Richard,” they answered.
“Please take her home.”
“I don’t want to go home, Heartbeat,” Kristin said, still crying.
“Please, Forevermore. I promise I won’t come back until I find our daughter,” Richard reassured her.
With that hope, Kristin left with Romina and Gladys.
