“Then what about a kiss?” Richard whispers, his thin lips going to her full lips.
Kristin shoved Richard away, her heart pounding rapidly.
“What the heck are you saying? Why would you kiss me?” She snapped.
“Don’t overreact, you’d think I’d kiss those lips of yours? I won’t even kiss you for free” Richard tucked his hands in his pants pocket.
“Why do you use every chance you get to insult me?”
“I only stated facts. I won’t even think close about kissing you, neither would I grab your waist again”
Kristin only rolled her eyes at him.
“Let’s go”
“Where are we going?”
“I’m taking you home, I have somewhere to be at” Richard walked away, and Kristin hurried up to catch up with him.
Luke was already waiting at the parking lot for them, they all entered the car, and Luke drove off.
A few minutes drive, Kristin was already back home.
“You have her already?” Richard asked, he was on a phone call with someone.
“I will be there” He purred and entered the car.
“Is everything okay?” Kristen asked, and Luke smiled.
“Yes, just go in. Richard will be home soon”
Kristin nodded and she watched them as they zoomed out, wondering where he was going.
The look on Richard’s face when he was leaving speaks a lot of anger.

In the outskirts of the city, and in an empty room, Ophelia’s screams could be heard as her face was dipped inside an icy water.
Her face was already getting frozen up, but the man didn’t stop.
He dared not stop dipping her head inside the icy water when the order came from the don, himself-Richard.
“Has she turned to ice?” Richard asked as he walked inside the empty room, Luke was with him.
Ophelia looked at Richard, her teeth shivering from the coldness of the water.
“How dare you abduct me and treat me like a criminal?!” Ophelia sparks.
Richard strutted over to her, making Ophelia almost wee on her panties.
“You should be grateful that you still have the energy to speak”He gave her a devilish glare.
“Why are you doing this to me?”
“Don’t try to act pitiful, because you’re a scheming woman. You think alarming a broadcasting company anonymously won’t make me find you? Why are you so hellbent on destroying me when you know you can’t win?”
“I despise you so much Richard! You are just a street beggar! Even if you’re a billionaire now, you would still remain that street beggar!” Ophelia shouted, despite the fact that she was shaking.
“Did you dip her head in the icy water like I have ordered?” Richard asked, his eyes on the man.
“Yes I did”
“Then why does she still have so much energy to talk? Continue dipping her head in, until she can’t talk” Richard ordered, walking out of the empty room.
“Richard! You son of a…” Ophelia didn’t finish her sentences, cuz the man dipped her head in the roaring icy water, just like Richard had instructed.
Ophelia struggled to breathe.
Richard found his place in the backseat when he entered his car, and Luke observed his face before speaking.
He knows Richard so well, so he knows when to ask questions and when not to.
“I thought you’d do something more than just dipping her head in cold water?”
“She is still my adopted dad’s wife” He uttered.
Richard has been holding in for the sake of Julio who paved the way for him to become a successful man. If Julio wasn’t in the picture, he’d swear on his life that he would have killed Ophelia long ago.
“You’re going home?”
“Not yet, take me to skyline company, I need to see my dad” Richard said, closing his eyes.
