Kristin sat on the comfortable couch smiling as she watched some doctors on television.
It was a documentary about doctors.
“You find it interesting?”
Kristin turns behind her, and sees Richard behind her.
“Yes”
“That?” He furrowed his brows.
If it’s not a documentary that has to do with business, then it’s going to be boring for him.
“Documentary about doctors are fun to watch” Kristin grins.
“Why? You want to become a doctor?” He asked, he was already sitting close to her.
“Yes. I used to be a medical student in the Philippines”
“Used to be? It means you didn’t graduate”
“I made a terrible mistake that almost ruined my life, so I dropped out two weeks after our freshman’s party”
“What kind of mistake made you drop out of college?” Richard asked.
“It’s something I can’t tell you, Mr. Grouchy. I feel so useless anytime I remember that day”
“Then don’t tell me. Anything that will make you downgrade yourself, I don’t want to hear it. Get ready for tomorrow’s occasion” He pats her softly and leaves.
Kristin sat alone on the couch as her mind drifted back to that fateful day. A day she made a terrible mistake.
*How could you have done such a thing, Kristin?!* Her mom’s angry voice from seven years ago gargled at her.
Kristin exhaled and tried to put on a smile.
“It’s all in the past” She nodded her head and put someone on call.

The grand hall was looking so lavishing, people were seen entering the hall.
These people were not just ordinary people, but people with high standards in Vegas.
From the way they dressed and carried themselves you could easily tell they fall under the highest standards in Vegas.
It was the opening of Richard’s new company.
“Why are you so excited?” Julio asked when he saw the smiling face of Ophelia.
She’d be the last person to be happy about Richard’s success.
“Why? Can’t I put on a smiling face?” She replied with a grin.
“You’re so unpredictable,” Julio muttered and settled down in one of the seats.
Ophelia sees Lewis entering the hall, and they both look at each other and smirk.
“I will be back”
“Where are you going?” Julio asked, but Ophelia ignored him.
She leaves and meets with Lewis in an alley.
“Did you bring it?” Lewis asked.
“You think I’d slack off in this? Seeing Richard crumpled into nothing is my biggest wish. I brought the ball anklets”
Ophelia dips her hand in her bag and brings out five ball anklets.
“Good job, Ophelia”
“So what’s the plan?”
“I have everything under control. Settle in, and pretend you don’t know about this” Lewis leaves.
“Let’s see if you’d be able to act so mighty in the presence of these people, Richard,” Ophelia smirks devilishly.
She went back to the hall and joined Julio.
“Where did you go?”
“No where,” She answered and smiled.
Lewis entered the broadcasting room, and three men were in charge of recording everything going on in the hall.
“Who are you?” One of them asked, but Lewis used a baton on them.
They lost consciousness immediately.
Lewis’s employees replaced the unconscious men.
“The moment Richard stepped on stage to give a speech, you know what to do, right?”
His employees nodded, and Lewis threw the ball anklets at them.
“Make sure you do a good job or you will lose your jobs” Lewis threatened.
