I smiled as I quickly put on my makeup……I just got a call from Paul, the man that had come to our cafe the last time, asking for Flinn……he told me to meet him in a restaurant at the middle of the city and that’s where I’m preparing to go to.

I stared at myself one last time and walked out of my room heading out. Thank God, dad is at the cafe……

I wouldn’t want him to start asking me unnecessary questions or worst still…… Tell me not to go.

It really annoys me that he still thinks I’m his little princess, I’m a grown woman now and I just wish that he acknowledges that, I thought with a sigh and opened my car getting in.

I started the car and drove off with a smile on my face, I just hope that he has found out something about my Flinn…….

I can’t even wait to see him, I thought and turned on the music driving off in full speed.

Restaurant

I parked my car and got down, staring around. The weather is so calm and somehow I just felt that, that was a good sign……. that something good will happen.

Could it be that he has found Flinn??, I thought and couldn’t help the goosebumps all over my body.

I put on my sun glasses and walked into the restaurant to see so many people eating and I sighed softly staring around.

“Excuse me ma’am, Can I help you??”I heard and turned to see a lady, Dressed like one of the waitresses staring at me.

“Oh Hi, Urmmmm….. I’m looking for someone…… He’s…… “I was still saying when finally I saw him waving at me from the back.

“Found him, Thank you “I said with a smile and waved back at him.

“Hi Good….. … evening”I said and sat down close to him.

“Yeah evening……you look good”He said while I smiled.

“Thank you, Not too bad yourself”I said and we chuckled softly together.

“How’s your dad doing?? “He asked and I scoffed loudly immediately.

“He’s fine I guess” I muttered with a frown.

“Thank you”I said to the waiter after he poured me a drink.

“So…… You told me to come ………
Do……. you have something important to tell me?, Please tell me you’ve found him”I said and he nodded.

“I…… Yes I found out something and I find it really suspicious”He said and I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

“O…… Kay”I said with a stutter wondering what he found suspicious……

I actually thought he had found out the where about of Flinn, I thought and sighed sipping from the glass of wine.

“So….. I did some research, And I found out that he was actually……

Attacked by some people 12 years….. seriously beaten up. He was actually thrown off that bridge down town but luckily……

I think he was found by someone”He said while I just stared at him gobsmacked.

Flinn was attacked and brutally beaten up???, Who would do something like that to him?, I thought and almost began crying immediately.

“What??……. What do you mean by he was seriously attacked and beaten up?, I mean Flinn is so innocent why would someone do that to a cute teenager??”I asked and scoffed unbelievably droping the glass of wine back on the table…..
