Prescott’s POV

I hurriedly packed my car and rushed into the bar searching for her, She called me not too long ago sounding really drunk. All thanks to the bartender who collected her phone and told me the address.

I finally saw her seated in front of the bartender and I immediately rushed to her. She looked so wasted and she was still drinking more beers.

“Good evening”I yelled to the bartender because the bar was really so noisy.

“Yeah,Were you the one that I spoke to on phone??”He asked and I nodded.

“Thank god you’re here,I’ve been trying to make her stop drinking but she’s been causing a big fuss” He said and i glanced at her immediately.

“How much is your money??”I asked.

“It’s 25 bucks”He said and I immediately paid him.

“Come on let’s go, Esmeralda”I said and tried to collect the bottle from her but she was holding it so tight.

“Come on, let it go”I said and snatched it from her.

“What??…….How…….dare…… you??…… give me my bottle”She murmured with a stutter twinkling her eyes.

“You’re so drunk already, Get up….. I’ll drive you home”I said and she scoffed loudly immediately.

“I……don’t want…….. to….go home”She said and shook her head childishly immediately. I tried to make her stand on her feet but it was really hard so I immediately carried her walking out of the bar.

“Thank you”I muttered to the bartender and carried her bag.

“Put me down”She yelled suddenly and roughly jumped down from my back when we got outside.

“It’s late already and if you’re acting like this then it’s going to be a problem”I said and bent down to carry her but she burst into tears immediately.

“After……. After waiting my whole life for him to return…….He chose that girl over me”She said crying bitterly and I immediately knew Who she was referring to.

She didn’t see me but I saw her when she walked out of Boss’s hospital ward earlier and Creed had told me all that happens.

“My……. My Flinn …….Told me to move on without him and I swear it hurts so badly”

“My heart is literally bleeding and I don’t think I’ll love someone else like I love him……. He should have been mine but dad ruined my life”She yelled and grabbed her hair pulling it really hard.

“I just want to die right now because I can’t bear this pain…… I feel like my heart was ripped off”She said and I immediately held her hand.

“You’re hurting yourself, You shouldn’t act this way”I said and she paused crying immediately.

“I…… I shouldn’t act this way??, Have your heart ever been broken before??”She asked staring at me with her red eyes.

“No you haven’t, You don’t know how painful it is Prescott”She said and shook her head.

“I hate my dad, I hate him so much that I’m afraid that if go back home I might just kill him with my bare hands”She said and smirked evily.

“Dad made me lose my child and Flinn and for that he lost me too, I just don’t want to ever set my eyes on him again”She said and stood up but staggered immediately and I had to hold her from falling.

“My car is over there, Let’s go in I don’t really love driving in the night”I said and held her.

This time she didn’t struggle but gently followed me to my car. I helped her fastened her seatbelt and quickly rushed over to the other side of the car.

“Don’t take me home…….I’m serious I might just really kill him”I heard her muttered and glanced at her to see her already asleep.

Okay…… I have no choice then than to take her to my apartment,I thought and started the car, driving off.
