“Hey. I said watch your tone”. She points her finger at me.
“And if I don’t?”.
She laughs slightly. “Trust me. You are not going to love what I’m going to do with you starting from that baby you are carrying”.
I scoffed. “Really? You are really good at threatening me all the time, Trisha. I guess thats the only thing you are good at”.
“Shut up!!”.
She yelled and grabbed the alarm clock throwing it at me. I ducked and it landed on the wall instead with such a hard force.
I panted nervously out of surprise as I look at the alarm clock on the floor and then at me. Her grin pissing me off.
The room door opened immediately and then Liam stepped in looking concerned.
“What was that noise all about?”. He asked looking at Trisha then back at me.
“Nothing, Liam”. I hastily said holding his hand. “Lets just go”.
“Your little baby mama and I were just in a conversation”. Trisha spoke up.
Liam glared at her. “Don’t you fucking call Brianna that. She’s my wife”.
“Point of correction, I am your wife, you are not even married to her”.
I cringe as she said that. The thought of Trisha being right irks me a lot.
“Look here, Trisha. If you don’t stop calling yourself my wife then I might have to pull out your tongue”. Liam threatened her.
She chuckled lightly. “You and I know that you can’t do that. You love me too much, I an your high school sweetheart, right?”.
“Come on, Brianna”. He holds my hand. “I think the environment here is too bad for your health so as the people”.
Liam tugs on my arm as he opened the door, I go with him glancing back at Trisha who glared at me.
I shudder slightly and walk out of the room with Liam. I stepped out and breathed out a sigh of relief.
He turns to me. “Are you okay? Did she do anything to you?”.
“No, its okay”. I shake my head. “I’m fine”.
He looks at me. “What about the baby?”.
I bit my lip contemplating on whether to tell him about the alarm clock she threw at me or the threats she gave me about the baby.
I shake my head. “No. The baby is fine”.
He nods and pecks my lips lightly before he held my hand intertwining our fingers. I walk along with him as we go back to our room.
He opens the door and I step in to see Lili bent over an array of colors next to her and a drawing book in which she seems to be sketching on.
I face Liam. “Is she okay?”.
“Did Trisha do something to her?”. He asks coldly.
“She was only trying to brush her hair but Lili didn’t want her to. And I guess she was trying to force her to”.
Liam clenched his fists. “That bitch!!”.
“But I don’t think she can hurt Lili”. I say to him hurriedly. “I mean, its her daughter”.
“I don’t fucking care”. Liam retorts. “I’m going to make sure that once that divorce comes through, I’m having custody of Lilian immediately”.
I squeeze his palm softly. “Everything will be okay”.
“Yeah”. He breathes out looking over at Lili who’s engrossed in her drawing. “It will all be okay if its just you, me and my kids”.
I blushed at the thought of that. “Really? I mean, do you mean every word of it?”.
“Of course”. He whispers reaching out to stroke my cheek. “I mean every single little thing, Brianna”.
“Oh”. I squeak out.
He faces me directly. “Trisha will be gone from our lives in a short moment. And I’m happy it will be just you, Lili, Jayden and I”.
“You mean, Jana. Right?”.
He smiles at me amusedly. “Anyone you want it to be. Jana or Jayden, I’ll love the baby equally and give him or her all of my attention”.
“I love you, Liam”. I smile out tears. “And I love that you think of me as part of your family”.
He reaches for my hands. “I don’t think of you as part of my family. Brianna, you are my family. My future wife and the mother of my kids”.
“Oh Gosh!!”.
I used my palm to cover my face as tears slide down my cheeks uncontrollably as a result of the romantic words he said to me.
He chuckled lightly and removed my palms slowly cupping my cheeks as he pulled in a for a warm kiss.
Our lips touched and I closed my eyes not wanting this to end at all. Wanting to be with Liam for the rest of my life as I felt his hands around my waist.
“Eww. Daddy, what are you doing to my Mommy?”.
I laugh pulling away from the kiss as I then remember that Lili is in the room with us all this while. Liam groans before pulling away while I continue laughing heartily.

“Was that your Mum?”. I asked Liam as he finished making a call.
“Huh? No, that was Lucas. He said he and Chloe are coming over in few minutes”.
I squealed excitedly. “Really? They are?”.
“Yeah”.
“Thats great”. I paused. “Um, Liam? What about your Mum? When is she coming?”.
“Oh that. She’ll be here in three minutes though, I sent my guards to go pick her up”.
I nodded fiddling with my fingers as I still felt nervous. Liam noticed and walked over to me taking my hands.
“Whats wrong?”. He whispered. “You don’t look okay”.
“Well I was thinking, Liam. What if your Mum doesn’t like me?”.
“Gosh, Brianna”. He kissed my palms. “Do you really want me to remind you all over again that I don’t care what anyone says of you”.
I sighed softly. “I know but she’s your Mum and Lili’s grandmother. I really need her to like me, to accept me”.
“Brianna, everything is gonna be okay. You don’t need to worry about anything. I’ll be here with you”. He assured me calmly.
I breathed out a sigh of relief. “Thank you”.
He pecks me lightly on my lips just as I hear Lili’s squeals downstairs and I know that Liam’s mother is here already.
Oh God! Help me.
Liam looks at me. “You ready?”.
“Yeah”.
He takes my hand and kisses it for last time before holding it in his interlocking our fingers together.
I steady my breathing as I walk out of the room with Liam. We head towards the hall and then to the stairs as we climb down.
I got down seeing Trisha exchange hugs with Liam’s Mom who seemed to like her.
“Oh My!! Williams”.
“Mother”.
He smiled thinly as she hugs him and then pulls away tugging on his cheeks playfully.
He chuckles and comes back to hold my hand while his Mum paused staring at me making me so nervous.
“Who’s she?”.
“My new Mommy. Daddy loves her so much and I love her too”.
Lili ran to over to me replying her as I smile holding her close to me ignoring Trisha.
“Mother. Meet Brianna, my fiancee and also the mother of my unborn child”. Liam introduced me affectionately.
Her lips curved into a strained smile. “Oh”.
I can tell immediately that she doesn’t like me one bit at first sight.
She glances at my pregnancy. “Brianna?”.
“Brianna Anderson”. I flashed her a smile.
“Or you mean Brianna Hills?”.
I froze as she said that. Not everyone knows who my father is and that I answer my Mum’s last name instead of my Father.
I forced a smile. “Yeah. Brianna Hills”.
“Gustave illegitimate daughter, right?”.
I blink back tears as she said that. Just as I thought, she’s not gonna like me.
