OUR MARRIAGE IS JUST A PIECE OF PAPER : EPISODES 1 – 10

?Prologue?

Marriage is that sacred bond between two people in which they willingly choose to unite, but it follows its own course independent of their desires.

If you perceive it as a game, it comes with its own set of rules and regulations, warning you to proceed at your own risk.

” You must remember Ahana Sehgal, Oh sorry, it’s Ahana Raichand now, that this is merely a business arrangement.

We are not bound by any traditions; we are tied together by a legal document.”

” I never forget things, Ansh Raichand. It is clearly an agreement.

I will acquire 50% of the shares in our company, and you will take over mine.

The resulting merger will only bring a few changes to the Board of Directors.”

“I believe the rules are clear and precise. In this marriage, we are not accountable to each other.”

“We should not interfere in each other’s lives, regardless of the actions taken by the other person.”

“Both you and I will be equal partners in both companies.

And the merger will not affect our respective positions.”

“The marriage will only be for the benefit of our companies, our grandfathers, and fathers.”

“The marriage will not impact our level of independence. We can pursue anything we wish.”

“Agreed.”
“Agreed.”
“Please sign here.”

With that, Ansh and Ahana shook hands, acknowledging that their marriage was merely a contractual arrangement for the sake of their respective companies’ success in the international market.

It’s a business agreement.

Both were tied together in a relationship that was purely a deal.

No emotions, no love, no trust, no respect.

As CEOs of their companies, they embarked on a journey, unaware of the surprises that awaited them.

They had no idea about each other’s feelings.

They were oblivious to the fact that this bond, which they considered a business deal, had its own set of rules.

It would not just be challenging but a test in itself.

They couldn’t foresee the future, but destiny had plans already in motion.

Everything had been written, unbeknownst to them.

Because… You never know what tomorrow holds…

OUR MARRIAGE IS JUST A PIECE OF PAPER : EPISODES 1 – 10

?The Beginning?

Episode 1:

The Beginning of Chaos.
“Everything has an energetic beginning, but mine was chaotic.”

AHANA’S POV?

“I can’t, Grandpa! Dad! I don’t want to get married. I’m only 29.”

“That’s precisely what I’m saying. You’re 29!

Girls get married at 22 or 24. You’re 5 to 7 years older,” my dad said.

My family consisted only of my dad, grandpa, and grandma.

My mom passed away giving birth to me. I had only seen her photo, but I am certain that I resemble her perfectly.

She was the most beautiful and strong woman on Earth. I miss her with all my heart.

Mom… Wherever you are, I know you’re watching me, and you’re always with me. I just want to tell you that I LOVE YOU… and I MISS YOU…

My dad never remarried. He loved my mother deeply.

He loves me too, and I love him more than anyone else, but life has been challenging for us.

He is the Managing Director of ‘Sehgal Enterprises’ and has become the top business tycoon in the country. As an individual, he is very introverted.

He has always shown me love and treated me equally. I received a great upbringing and never asked for more.

Most importantly, my grandmother, whom I call Ma, has always been there for me.

I graduated from IIM with top honors. Companies were eager to hire me, but my grandfather had already appointed me as a manager in Sehgal’s, our family business.

I performed exceptionally well and within two years, I was promoted to CEO.

They had faith in me, and I didn’t disappoint them. The company reached new heights and was in the best condition since its inception.

Despite being a family, I didn’t share a strong bond with anyone except my grandma.

She has always been supportive, despite her age.

Interrupted in my thoughts, my grandpa shouted, “Ahana, where are you lost? Can’t you hear what we are saying?”

“Ma, please ask them to consider my request,” Grandma pleaded, but they seemed unaffected by her appeal.

“I don’t want any more arguments. We have only asked for one thing. It’s for your benefit and think about the company, Ahana,” my dad said.

“I have never even spoken to him. If you consider glancing at someone during business meetings or parties as knowing each other, then it’s pathetic.
