ANSH’S POV?
Fatal Attraction. That’s all I have with Ahana. I have to get over her somehow. Her eyes… Oh man… It’s driving me crazy.
I vividly remembered everything that happened between us yesterday. How could I forget her gentle pink lips on mine?
I couldn’t control myself. She felt so peaceful in my arms in the morning.
I think I held her the whole time. She had no choice but to stay.
I need to avoid her in any way possible. Also, Jaai is not here, so I don’t need to worry about them being together.
While I was in the office, I called someone.
“Jia… Are you there? Be ready today at 7. Come to my office.”
“So, you called, honey. I’ll be there.” But I had already hung up.
Right now, all I needed was some distraction from this attraction, and I knew there were many ways.
I didn’t see Ahana the entire afternoon. I doubt if she even had her lunch.
She looked so fragile that it made me wonder if she rarely ate. Why am I even thinking about her?
I had my meetings, and she must have had hers. Usually, we don’t have meetings together.
But I know she is excellent at her work, and she doesn’t compromise it for anything.
The way she handled the Seghals Limited was incredible, and after the merger, we were doing great.
At 7, Jia arrived. She is always punctual. Almost everyone in our office knows her except Ahana.
She gave me a tight hug in the corridor, and I welcomed it openly.
Just then, the elevator opened, and Ahana came with her secretary.
He must be in the conference room. As soon as I saw her, I pulled Jia closer, and she chuckled.
Yeah, I’m known as a playboy, but I don’t care. It’s just the distraction I need the most.
Ahana was glaring at us. She seemed surprised but acted as if she had expected all this. She approached me.
“You must be Ahana, Ansh’s wife. I am Jia. Nice to meet you,” Jia said while still holding me.
“Hi… And who are you?” Ahana asked.
“Someone close to Ansh… If you can see,” Jia replied.
I was enjoying the moment. But Ahana seemed calm and composed. But why would I think she would get jealous of Jia? But I secretly wished she would.
“Oh! That I can see. The way you are sticking to him hasn’t gone unnoticed by me, at least. Ansh… So, you will be late tonight.
But tomorrow we have a combined board meeting, so act accordingly,” she said, smiling. Jia was glaring at her, but Ahana didn’t care.
She left without giving a second look.
“And yes… Enjoy, guys,” she said, smiling. I stood there stunned. She really didn’t care at all.
Frankly, I didn’t care either. I should be happy that she didn’t mind.
“Ansh… What happened? Let’s go, come on,” Jia said, and I nodded.
We went to an Italian restaurant. Jia was really talkative.
She kept talking the whole time, and for the first time, I was annoyed. Irritated could be an understatement too.
“Ansh… Let’s go to my place. Ahana might be at home,” she said, mentioning her name, and my mind drifted to her again.
