RED AND THE ALPHA : CHAPTER 1 – 10

More tears rolled down her eyes.
Walking out the asylum, she strapped herself in place waiting for the car to drive to their destination which was the neighborhood.

Because her father was deemed mentally unfit, she had to live with her aunt and her daughter, Emma.
Even so, Red hadn’t easy as she seemed to feel inferior by the way they treated her.

Like she wasn’t fit to be among and even when they didn’t say it, she knew they were jealous of her looks.
Her aunt hated the way people stared at her with admiration in her eyes and not Emma because Red was gifted with an ethereal beauty that surpasses no one.

With her neighbour dropping her off in front of the house, Red stepped out waving him a goodbye before glancing at the house.

And right before her, were cars lined up at the front of the house and nearing the front door she stopped when she heard noises coming from within.

Peeking through the open hole, there for the first time, she sighted her aunt and uncle on their knees with Emma protected behind them.
They were shivering and in tears.

“Please spare us” begged her aunt to the man who sat so majestically on the chair with a king like posture.

“Who are you people? Who sent you huh?” Questioned uncle Will who spoke with his body trembling.

“Sent me? Who would dare send me?
No one commands.

Absolutely no one” a deep voice from and though Red was peaking from the hole, she couldn’t seem to catch a glimpse of the man who spoke for his back was turned to her.

“I have money. I have cars.
You can take them, take anything you want” said wills in desperation to get rid of this stranger from his home but instead, only heard a dark chuckle elude him.

“Do you think I want your money? I can have all of that with just a snap of the finger” he said standing to his feet and slowly marching towards them.

“Then… Then why are you here?” Asked her aunt Natasha protecting Emma from the man before them.

“You have something I need and it’s right here” he said coming to a stop as his gaze moved to Emma, his smirk widening.

“Wh… What do you want?” Asked Will for his gaze to land on him and Red who looked perked her ears to hear him speak.

From where she stood absolutely no one could see her but that changed when suddenly he looked over his shoulders and though sensing a presence, he turned.

And Eyes darker than the night stared at her.

A huge gasp left her lips, her feeble hands covering her mouth.
He couldn’t see her could he?
With the tilt of his head, and his lips curved into a fine smirk he uttered.

“I want her” he pointed at her and in the next moment, she heard her uncle yell out.

“RUN!” He shouted and that was all it took for Red to flee from there.
Everything changed from that moment on.

13YEARS LATER

Darkness.
Darkness was all she could see and the impending silence she awakened to gave her a sense of satisfaction.

Not a sound of a pin drop neither the noises from cricket and mosquitoes that would sound all the way to her ears or worse, the cold laughter of the gruff looking men that would stare at her.

Instead, what filled the air was rattling noises from the chains attached to her neck down to her feet and hands leaving her breathing to come out in laboured form.

Even when she was deprived of sunlight, she was much more relaxed than the first time she was brought into this hell hole.

She had ran away only to end up being caught by the wrong people and ever since then, she has lived her life in this hell hole.

The pleasure she found in the silence was broken when from outside the door, sounds of footsteps were heard shortly accompanied by the jingling of keys and almost immediately after, the doors pulled open allowing the light from the lantern which was held up to be casted into the room and unto the girl who sat there.
