RED AND THE ALPHA : CHAPTER 1 – 10
These beast were dire wolves, a viscous wild creature, large in size and quick to destroy
Now the man, Craig had seen what they were capable of when right on front of him, they had ripped up his partner into shreds.
Now, as they stared at him,the more his fear increased and quickly he averted his gaze to the man before him begging and pleading as he cried out.
“Please have mercy, I’m sorry” pleaded Craig, crystal tears forming in his eyes but his pleas only excited the man before him.
“Scared?” Deep and bold was his voice making the man shiver before his words penetrated into his ears.
“I’m sorry please forgive me” he repeated crying profusely but the more he begged, the more his hopes grew thin when he heard his next words.
“You commited a great offense and now you ask for mercy? You took something from me” he sounded.
“But I didn’t steal from you.
I didn’t do anything” said the man in an attempt to justify himself only to be cut short.
“No but you took my money and failed to keep your end of the deal” said the Drakko and the more he spoke, the more his eyes grew dark.
“You failed to make me happy” he added.
“I tried. I really did my best” cried the old man.
“Well your best wasn’t enough because you failed. Do you know what happens when you make a deal with the devil?
The offer is always so tempting.
Tempting to a point you can’t refuse, tempting enough you can’t see the hideout side to the deal only your gains and when it’s time to fulfill your side of the deal, you can’t and that’s when he comes and like a devil he is, he reigns down his fire consuming everything including you” he said with a placid smirk up his face.
“Please have mercy. You not a devil ” said the old man.
“Oh but I am. I’m the worst of my kind ” and with his words, the old man panicked, regretting the day he crossed paths with him.
Regretting the day he made a deal with the devil.
And just like he said, his offer was tempting, so tempting that no foolish mam could refuse.
It was an offer worth millions enough to turn a poor man’s life around.
To make the poor rich and the rich even richer and all for one thing, to make him happy using any means necessary.
It seemed really easy for the old man for he was a comedian but the man he was to impress wasn’t.
He was a monster, a beast who would never smile or laugh at any jokes or tricks or any sort of entertainment he had tried along with the others but when he really knew he was monster was when one by one he began to kill the hundreds of people that had accepted his offer and failed and now, it was his turn.
“You can’t do this, you have no right to kill me! They’ll find me”
“But I can. Don’t you remember? You signed your own life to me”
He spoke and with a click of his hand, a man clothed in black suite stepped forward and to his hand was a contract signed by the old man.
“Didn’t you read every single details of the contract? Second to the last part of the contract states that if you are unable to satisfy me, your life belongs to me” he read out, gaze fixated on the old man who now breathed heavily.
Sure he has read that part of the contract but he didn’t expect he would fail, he didn’t think signing the contract would mean ending his life.
“You… You can’t”
“But I can”
“Please have mercy. I beg of you, I’ll do anything. Anything you want ”
Eager and pitiful was his voice but the man before him took no compassion.
