“Go in” said Cedrick to her but out of fear, her feet remained in place, her head shook violently and just when she was about to take a step back, he spoke up.

“Don’t you want to know the reason why he kills them? Why he kills his mate and why he is going to kill you” he said.

A sense of curiosity clouded her mind, her movements halted and her eyes stared at him.

“What’s behind the door?” she asked him but he simply pulled the door pen, walking inside, he left her outside.

Just when the door was about to close, reasoning prevailed and she walked inside. The room was dark but in the next moment, it was
lit up by the touch light hung on every corners of the wall illuminating the place. A huge gasp left her lips at what she saw.

BONES! And lots of them. Some were skeleton that were still decaying while some had dried up. There was no object to the room and scattered bones lying to the round and with the way they were, Red could tell in the most horrifying way.

“What happened here? Who..who are they?” she asked stuttering as she closed her nose from the pungent smell that fill d
the air.

“These were his mates. This one was killed when he plucked out her eyes. This one, she was tied and burnt alive, this one,
her organs were clawed out” he said telling her about their death.

“Stop please” she cried out not wanting “Now is your turn” he said making tears to fall from her eyes. She didn’t want to die or end up lie them. As she sobbed she
looked around, something on the wall catching her attention. They were names.

Thousands of names if not more written in blood on the wall and all was connected to one circle where a name was written
boldly ‘AGATHA’
Cedrick noticed her gaze and glanced at the wall.

“What is that?’
“His mate. Those were their names and when each one died they would be written there” Red couldn’t believe her ears. He
had killed so many why?

“Why does he kill them? He asked to see him smile,
‘’To bring her back” he said pointing to the name at the center of it all.

“She was his first and only love. Unfortunately, she died leaving him behind. He was never the same again. To bring her back, he needs a thousand soul. A thousand death of his mates.

Every night he rips out their heart and every time we watch as they scream to their doom”

“Isn’t he up to a thousand?” she asked to see him shake his head.
“No, you are the last one. You are the only one left to complete his quests. He’ll kill you and he’ll make you bleed. Tonight
will be your last” he said making a shiver go down her spine.

Hot tears roamed down her eyes on hearing this. Indeed Drakko was crazy. For long moments she cred but Cedrick didn’t comfort her. AND the end, he took her back to her room but before he left, he uttered
“Do take care of yourself “At that he left.

Red couldn’t rest, she couldn’t eat knowing he was coming for her. She had waned
to do so many things and explore the world.

The in the room and on the bed, she waited looking at the clock which ticked away. In her head she had imagined how she
would look in a pool of her own blood. The day wen by fast and night approached. The time she was dreading was here.

Looking out the window, Cars pulled up at the entrance of the mansion. Loud footsteps rushed down and heavy commotion was heard. A loud howl deafening to the ear sounded through the air.

Four men stepped out rushing to the last vehicle that
just drove in and pulling someone out, Red fund it to be Drakko. With the way they carried him, he seemed to be badly hurt.

“Go call the healer now” commanded Cedrick and almost immediately, the lady who seemed to misplace her name for Agatha stepped forward. Taking a look at him, she shook her head before gesturing them inside. Once in, the noises died down and the crowd dispersed.

They brought him into a room away from the stares of others.
“Poco, come treat him” Cedrick said for the old lady to step forward.
“What happened?”

“Hunters’’ He simply said for her to step forward tearing the cloth stuck to his wounds. A gasp left his lips as she stared at it making her take a step back.“Wolf bane.

It’s preventing from healing” she uttered making Cedrick look shocked. Wolf banes was an invention created by the hunters against their kind. Sure it worked on them but not for someone as powerful as Drakko.

‘’Then take it out’’
“It’s not that easy. It… It’s not within my power” she said looking confused.

“There must be a way” he said making her thoughts to go wide for a solution. Drakko groaned in pain gritting his teeth.

“There’s a way but will need the milk of the poppy” she said. Milk of the poppy s a substance that help to ease pain.

“I don’t need it”
“It will hurt”
“Then I’ll scream” said Drakko” hearing this Poco nodded. Herbs and medicine which weren’t ordinary was brought to her.

A groan left his lips as she touched his wounds. Her claws came out and she began tearing off his infected skin diving deeper and deeper into his skin.
