[CALLING HER LION]
PUNISHMENT ROOM
Jericho crashed into the room, the force of the impact knocking the breath from his lungs. Before he could catch his breath, two hands grabbed his wrists, chaining him to the wall.
Another pair of hands shackled his ankles, leaving him spread-eagled and helpless. He struggled against his bonds.
“Look I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to stare, It was an accident!” he cried, But his pleas fell on deaf ears.
Xander scoffed as he took the two headed whip from Owen. His eyes blazed with fury.
Others stepped back.
With a sadistic grin, Xander raised the whip high above his head and brought it down with all his might.
The whip cracked like a thunderbolt, the sound ringing through the room. It struck Jericho’s back with a sickening thud, tearing through his shirt and into his flesh.
“ARGH!!!!!”Jericho screamed in agony, his back burning with pain.
Xander raised the whip again, his eyes cold and merciless.
“You pathetic worm!” he snarled.
“You will pay for what you have done,” Xander spats, lashing at Jericho again and again, the whip came down, each strike more brutal than the last.
“Please!!! It was a mistake!!”
“Argh!!!!!”Jericho’s screams echoed through the stone walls, but Xander showed no mercy, his blows becoming more frenzied and unhinged.
He seemed to be possessed by some dark, primal force. Or jealousy that a human gets to touch the queen while all he did was play poker with her.
His eyes wild, his face twisted in a snarl of hatred. How dare the human? How dare goddess? He waited all these years just for another to claim her and now the stupid human has put her life in danger.
Xander tightened his teeth, consumed with rage.
Declan and Owen exchange glances as they watched in horror, their faces pale and drawn. They had never seen Xander like this before.
It was as if he was no longer himself, but some sort of demon, bent on inflicting the most horrific pain imaginable.
The next blow of the whip was the hardest yet, and Jericho felt his strength draining away. His vision swam, and he could feel himself slipping into darkness.
Puppy, does she know that the tigers were gonna attack him? Did she set him up? Was she aware that the queen will try to save him? Did she plan this?
Many thoughts ran through his mind but he couldn’t seem to out it together.
“Stupid human!” Xander lashed at him again.
“He passed out Already,” Niko said stepping forward.
Xander dropped his whip, nodding his head in satisfaction. He couldn’t wait for judgement to be passed so he could waste Jericho’s once and for all.
“Owen, Declan and Niko, go check the gate. Obiden must have noticed,” he instructed and they left instantly.

THE QUEENS BED CHAMBER
The shaman and the priestes is currently in the room with the queen who’s temperature skyrocketed so high their magic wasn’t calming her.
“What’s going on?” Prince Jasper asked, staring from one person to another.
It’s been more than 30 minutes yet, nothing happened. It was as though she was getting worse by the minutes.
“She’s not waking up,” The shaman replied.
“My healing ability is not working on her,” Grace the healer replied sadly.
“Priestes,” he called sharply.
“She’s in the spirit world, I’m afraid if we don’t find a way to bring her back soon she will be trapped there forever,” the priestes replied.
“It would have been more easy if she had a mate, he can bring her back quickly,” The shaman added
“We will work on some magic and see if we can raise her again but in the main time no visitors is allowed,” The priestes added.
Prince Jasper held his jaw in thoughts.
“His Royal Highness! My prince!!! There is a problem!” Marran shouted in panic, rushing into the queens chamber without knocking.
The gaurds by the door didn’t let her in though but she didn’t stop what she was saying.
“We are under attack, I can feel Owen pain!” She screamed fearfully.
Everyone turned to look at her.
Prince Jasper glared at her while Asher rushed towards her.
“Are you sure?” He asked, reaching for her hand as he took it in his.
“We can fûçking feel the same thing damnit! He’s in pain I can feel it!” She bellowed.
Prince Jasper and Asher left the room instantly.
“Send a message to the remaining warriors,” he ordered.
“I’m coming….”
“You’re no longer one of us,” Asher cut Marran off.
Was he kidding? She have been fighting for so long and Owen needs her help, he’s in pain and she could feel it.
“Don’t try to stop…”
“Marran!!” Prince Jasper snapped, stopping on his track, his eyes daring her to speak one more time.
“For now you’re a mother, focus on that!” He walked away meeting Xander outside.
“The Mage,”
Puppy smirked from where she’s watching.
“One step closer,” she giggled.

JERICHO
Jericho stood staring at the woman who look almost lifeless on the king-size bed, she was inside something that’s like an egg… No, fire ball.
Why was she in there?
“You had just one Job,” he heard a voice from behind and made to turn but couldn’t, he couldn’t fûçking move his neck, what was happening?
“She’s your queen and your job is to protect her, keep her out of harm but you failed,” the voice came again, louder and stone cold.
“I was…”
“Skip the sympathy speech, keep it to yourself!” The voice Interrupted.
He gulped emptiness.
“If she dîê, I will make you suffer pain so unimaginable that even you will reject yourself and dêâth will see you and run,” The voice said again.
“What should I do?” Jericho managed to asked, his gaze fixed on the queen.
“You are the king, her king! When you command everyone obeys…. The sooner you discover that the better for you,” The voice faded away.
Jericho swiftly turned around but didn’t see anyone, he looked around for the queen but she was no longer there.
“Smiley,” He called, searching her room.
Fear and panic creep into his mind at the thought of losing her.
“Smiley!!!” He screamed, his eyes flew open.
It’d all been a dream
He made to relax back in the wall but Immediately his back touched the wall pain erupted through him.
“Argh!” He groaned
“That’s soms scary wound you have there,” He heard a female voice, slowly he turned only to see Imogen watching him.
“Hey,” he mumbled but she ignored him.
“If she dîê, I will make you suffer…. She’s your queen…. You’re her king…. When you command everyone obeys…. The sooner you discover that the better for you,” those words came rushing into his head
It’d been a dream, this strange voice has spoken to him in his dream.
He forced himself to stand, holding the iron bars with both hands.
“Let me out!!” He yelled
“Let me out!!! She needs me!!!” Jericho screamed, shaking the iron bars as if to uproot it.
“Can anyone hear me!! Lemme out!! She needs me!!” He screamed again and again shaking the iron bars but it didn’t budge.
Pain screamed through his body….

MEANWHILE, OUTSIDE THE GATE
Obiden’s sorcerers and sorceresses are seen chanting in unison, their words carrying on the wind like a dark incantation.
The air shimmered as their magic took hold, and the wall of the great kingdom began to vibrate.
Outside the gates, The feral warrior was already at battle with Obiden’s demon army and The Mage, their eyes glowing red with fury.
They clashed in a whirlwind of swords and claws, the ground shaking beneath their feet.
From the corner, Pain tore through Declan throat as the demon he’s fighting against, grabbed hold of his arm, yanking it off his body then tossed it to the ground as if it was nothing.
“Argh!!” Declan screamed, his animal spirit roaring in pain.
He’s an eagle shifter and he’s a better fighter in his human form.
The demon was about to sank his fangs Into his body when Violet leaped in the air, her sword in her hand as she brought it down, cut off the hand.
Twisting herself, she sank her blade into the demon chest, trying to stab his heart but she met the air.
“Fûçk you!” She leaped in the air but the demon knocked her away with just one hand and she went crashing far away.
The demon lunged at her but Quinn jumped on its back, standing her claws deeper and deep into its back, the demon howled and swung itself, trying to shake her off but she hold tighter.
She pushed her hand deep till she touch it, it’s chest. Without hesitation she pulled it out and…. Puff
The demon vanished like a smokes
She landed on the ground, running over to Violet.
“You okay?”
Meanwhile, Prince Jasper fought the Demon he’s up against, dodging and parried with an ease that spoke of years of training.
A Mage came behind him and he twisted himself, sanking his blade Into the Mages chest then pulled it out, The Mage dropped dead instantly.
He turned around but a demon’s claws tore through his armor, and he felt the searing pain of a deep wound.
“Fûçk!!!” He tried to heal himself, but the wound would not close. It was as if his powers had abandoned him and he’s beginning to grow weak with every passing moment.
The demon roared but from nowhere, Xander launched himself at the it, his sword flashing in the air. With a roar, he brought the sword down upon the demon’s head, severing it cleanly from its body.
The demon’s body crumpled to the ground, lifeless and still Then he turned to face Prince Jasper, his breathing coming rapidly.
“They have venom in their claws,” Xander said
“How do you know that?” Prince Jasper asked then he pointed at Asher and Owen who was lying almost lifeless on the ground.
“They got them before we could know what is happening,” Xander replied, he noticed Three Mage was upon Jag like raining water so he rushed forward but Prince Jasper pulled him back.
“A part of the wall has fallen and the Mage and going for the queen, call Imogen, tell her to get her Alina sisters down here to take the queen to their home,” Prince Jasper shifted even though he was weak.
There were too many, more than a thousand, it was as though Obiden release all his Demon army.

OBIDEN
Obiden sat upon his throne of bones. He was clad in a black robe, his pale skin almost glowing in the dim light.
His eyes were as dark as coal, and they glittered with a sinister intelligence.
“It is almost time, my lord,” Obiden said, his voice low and sinister.
“Soon, soon you will raise again and rule the world,” he said with assurance in his tone.
“And the queen?”
“My soldiers will deliver her to you,” He replied
“I’m running out of patience, get me out of this blade,”
“Soon my Lord, very soon!”

DUNGEON~~ QUEEN LUMIRA KINGDOM
“She needs me, I need to go out there,” Jericho said as he shook the iron bars over and over yet no one paid attention to him.
He was weak and don’t know how long he could keep up.
“Smiley,” he sat on the floor, hugging his knees in desperation.
“This is all my fault, I’m sorry,” he mumbled, then sniffed.
“I should have listened when you told me not to watch, I should have!” He ruffles his hair.
“I can take you,” Imogen suddenly said to his surprise.
The woman haven’t said a single word to him since he started trying to leave this place so Why now?
Well, that wasn’t important.
“How? We are both Locked up,” he replied.
“It’s in my blood….”
“The last time I check, werewolves don’t disappear, they can only shift,” he Interrupted.
Imogen glanced at him as though she wanted to change her mind.
“Do you want to go out or not?”
“Not until you tell me how? Have been mislead twice, I won’t let it happen again,” he replied seriously.
She sighed out.
“My mother was the queen of a difference realm, called the Alinas. It’s a race of women…”
“How do they multiple?” He asked, he didn’t trust her, hêll, he didn’t trust anyone again.
“They are born through magic,” she replied simply.
“So how will that take me out of here?” Jericho asked with a raised eye brows.
“Cos I can teleport. I got the ability from my mother who fall in love with a feral warrior, after helping them defeat a clan millennial ago. They bounded and mated, sealing their mating bond. her Alina sisters notice and refuse to accept him so she was forced to choose between him and her people so she faked her own death. My father suffered the pain of a broken bond and the lost of his lover for a hundred years until he saw her again at an occasion so the he kidnapped her and brought her back here. They made out a couple of time till her Alina sisters discover that their queen was missing, they came for her but my father refuse to let her go so they declare war,” she smiled at him.
“I dunno why am telling you this,” Imogen mumbled.
“Just keep going!” Jericho rolled his eyes. He wanted to get to the end and Know how and why she can teleport.
“The queen compelled my father to hand her over but he refused so he was Locked up, my mother loved him just too much so she pleaded with her people to let her just love him, she was the queen after all so they let her but she promise to give them a child that will take her place. I was a hundred years back then cos she had me when she fake her death and my father didn’t know so when he discover, he was mad but they made up. the Alinas came for me but I was already marked at birth, they waited for my sister but she was also marked in the womb, they still refuse to give up on my mother and asked her to give them a new queen or they will declare war against the Therians. My father and his beloved were on their way to a place the priestes said they could have a child that won’t be marked when they were attacked by the Mage…..” She took in a deep breath, closing her eyes.
“End of story, I can teleport cos my mother can and I am a shape shifter cos my father was a feral warrior,” she shrugged.
“I have too many questions….” Jericho was still saying when Marran rushed Into the dungeon.
“Imogen, you need to go and help them… The Mage have broke through the walls and there is so much blood, they are killing in tens and twenties, children… Old… Women…. The weak ones,” she shouted tearfully.
“What?” Imogen sat up.
Jericho did the same.
“We are at war?” She exchange glances with Jericho before staring back at Marran.
How come no one told her?
“Imogen we need your Alina sisters, we have to export the queen to a safety place till this war is over,” Xander said walking into the dungeon.
He didn’t even act as though he saw Marran as he went straight to her cell and opened it.
“Come out,” he ordered.
They weren’t best of friends but he’s following orders and their kingdom was at risk.
Imogen walked out, just one foot then glance at Jericho.
“What about him?” She asked staring from Xander to Jericho.
“He dîês….”
“I’m not coming out if he’s not coming out too,” she replied and withdraw back
Shocking both Xander and Marran, Jericho’s wasn’t left out. He watched her with fascination.
“Are you aware that the future of this kingdom is in trouble coursed by this fool?” Xander asked, gritting his teeth while pointing at Jericho.
“I’m not a person of too much talks,” She relaxed back.
Xanders heart pounded in his chest, jealousy tearing at his guts. if only this have nothing to do with the queen…. But it’s not over, he will surely get Jericho and make the bastard pay.
With gritted teeth he walked over and opened the cell, Jericho walked out and Imogen followed instantly, Xander made to follow but she stopped him.
“You go help the others, I will keep watch of him…”
“He is a traitor,” Xander spats furiously.
“Let me take responsibility,” Imogen was still saying when Xander drew his blade.
“I am not letting this traitor out of my sight,”
Jericho watch with missed feelings, after all it was his fault, if he hadn’t been listening to whatever everyone told him their queen would still be fit.
“Lion,” he heard and looked around.
“Lion, help me I don’t like it here,”
“Did… Did you hear that?” He asked no one in particular.
“Hear what?” Marran asked cluelessly
“I head something, it’s as if someone was calling me… It wasn’t my name though, it was…” He paused , getting the hints.
Only one person calls him Lion.
“Smiley,” he called out loud.
“I need you Lion, Now!” He heard the same voice in his head again.
Without thinking Jericho took off but he hasn’t taken up to five steps when Xander grabbed his shirt….
“Where the hêll do you think you’re going? Traitor…”
“YOU DO NOT QUESTION ME!” Jericho bellowed, eyes turning red…
Xander quickly let go of him, shifting backwards as if frightened.
To his shock, Imogen and Marran did the same.
What the hêll….. That voice, who’s voice was that and did… No he didn’t.
“Did I say that??”
