CHAPTER 21 – 23
{NOT JUST YOU}
Valentino looked away from them after a while and faced the girl sitting on his laps
“Get down” He said in a mutter and she gave him a surprise look
“Why? You don’t want me??” She asked,touching his cheek,when Valentino didn’t say a word,she got down from his laps and he stood up,walking away from the pool side.
As he walked away,he pulled out a cigarette and lightened it up,he just couldn’t understand why the h*ll he can’t take her out of his mind. Is he going crazy already?? But then,the fact that he doesn’t even know what caused it all from the start made him more curious,as far as he’s concerned,he never had anything against her but she doesn’t hesitate to say it to his face the word I HATE YOU which never seems to bother him,but recently they kept ringing in his head that he just wanted to know why she hates him.
Back in the poolside,Channel and Jessica are both in the pool,dancing and drinking like others,Becky left some minutes again and they are both left in there. All along,Channel was staring at Terence,if only looks could kill,the girls flirting with him would have died right now. She kept dancing sexily to the music hoping he will just notice her but he never looked her way.
Terence sighted Gigi from the pool and immediately he left the girls beside him,just as he was about getting out of the pool,he saw Reed beside her too but that didn’t stop him from going out. Gigi and Reed were both talking and smiling when Terence walked over to them
“Hey Terence” Gigi immediately called,waving excitedly
“Hey seriously,you weren’t this happy to see me” Reed said beside her and she chuckled
“I thought you wouldn’t come” Terence said
“Well here I am,guess what?? Vanessa is here too” She said and winked at him and he smiled
“Wanna swim?” Reed asked
“No” Gigi immediately said
“Then why are you putting on this?” Terence asked,scanning her body with his eyes
“Just because…this is the code of dress” Gigi said and they laughed
The three of them sat down together with Gigi in the middle and they were served some drinks
“I can’t see Valentino and Virgil” Gigi said,shaking the glass in her hand
“Valentino is not a usual guy,so don’t expect to see him always” Reed said and she nodded
“That’s Virgil over there” Terence turned her head toward Virgil,he was busy having fun with the girls
“Oh wow” Gigi muttered
Reed stared at Terence’s hands on Gigi’s head and then back to Gigi’s face
“Oh wow? Do you feel like joining them?” He asked and Gigi faced him,Terence already dropped his hand
“I already made a promise not to dive into the pool tonight” Gigi said and the boys scoffed at once
“Stop scoffing” She laughed
“Seriously I can’t believe this” Soraya said,glaring at Gigi hatefully
“They are both bitches” Shirley spat,also glaring at Vanessa with Giovanni
“I don’t care whatever she does or seduce them with,Reed is gonna be mine no matter what” Soraya said
“I will do anything to make Giovan mine too” Shirley smirked
Outside,Quinn was sitting down alone staring at nothing in particular. She kept on thinking about Finn and was almost regretting that she actually yelled at him. She was still thinking when she felt someone beside her,she immediately turned thinking it was Finn but got disappointed
“Hey” Otto muttered
“Oh…hi” she said
“Are you okay?” She asked and touched his cheek
“I’m fine” Otto smiled and placed his hand on hers but Quinn immediately withdrawn her hand from his face
“Don’t get mad at him,he can’t control his anger sometimes” She said
“Don’t worry,I know that. We are friends remember?” Otto said and Quinn nodded
“Why are you here alone tho? We should go back in” Otto said and stood up,he stretched his hand for her
Quinn ignored his hand and got up on her own,Otto dropped his hand and they both walked back in. Getting to the pool,Quinn looked around for Finn and she found him sitting with Sasha,she swallowed and immediately looked away from them.
“See you later,I’m gonna go meet my friends” She said to Otto and he nodded
Quinn walked over to sit beside Erica,Angelique was in the pool
“Where have you been?” Erica asked
“Complicated” Quinn sighed out
Angelique started dancing with some other girls and a frown appeared on Erica’s face,but it only got worse when one of the girls began tapping Angelique’s @ss as she twerked
“Hey Angelique!!” She yelled without thinking and Angelique turned to see her glaring
“What,who made you mad?” She questioned and that was when Erica came back to her sense
“Oh…it’s….nothing” she mumbled and Angelique turned back to the girls
Erica immediately grabbed the cup of alcohol beside her and gulped everything.
“Don’t get drunk,I’m not strong enough to take you to the mansion” Quinn said
“Don’t worry about me” Erica muttered.

Vanessa got down beside Giovanni and he looked at her
“Where are you going?” He asked
“Imma look for the restroom,will be back” Vanessa replied
“Mind me coming along?” Giovanni teased
“Don’t be a pervert” Vanessa said and he chuckled,staring at her as she walked away.
As Vanessa walked,different eyes followed her but she didn’t mind as usual.
Leaving the party side to get the restroom,but instead she saw Valentino,it’s her first time seeing him smoke,she’s not surprised anyway. Valentino looked up and their eyes met. She immediately turned to go
“Vanessa” Valentino called and her eyes almost widened as she stopped walking
Did he just called her name?? For real??
She didn’t turn back,Valentino dropped his cigarette and moved closer to her,standing in front of her
“What do you want?” Vanessa asked,glaring at him
“How’s your cheek?” He asked and Vanessa stared down at his lips,the cut wasn’t obviously anymore
“It’s none of your business” She said and made to leave but Valentino grabbed her hand
“Don’t touch me!” She yelled at him and threw his hand off
“If that was a mistake,don’t make another one” She said and stormed away angrily.
She got back to the poolside and walked straight to Gigi
“Gigi” She called and Gigi turned
“Hey Queen V” Reed smiled
“Hi” Vanessa replied shortly
“Pumpkin” Gigi called
“I’m leaving” Vanessa said
“Huh? But why” Gigi asked
“I just want to…I will see you later okay?” She said and Gigi nodded
“Goodnight” Terence smiled at her
“Thanks” Vanessa muttered before walking away,she returned to Giovanni
“I need to go” She said and Giovanni got up
“I will be your guard” He said and Vanessa chuckled
They left the white mansion together and soon they arrived at her mansion
“So,goodnight” Giovanni said and Vanessa nodded with a smile
“Goodnight” She muttered
Giovanni moved closer to her and hugged her,she reciprocated the hug and then broke it
“Go on,bye” She waved at him and went in
Giovanni turned back and started walking away,smiling to himself.

NEXT DAY
Otto and Toby walked into the lecture hall together without Finn,Quinn immediately called Otto and he turned to her with a smile
“Hey”he said
“Where’s Finn?” Quinn asked and just then Finn walked in ignoring everyone,Quinn’s eyes followed him then turned back to Otto
“Thanks” She said and sat down,she looked back again and Finn sat down beside Sasha.
“Hey Finn!” Sasha called looking so happy
Finn smiled at her
“Do you still want to be my friend?” He asked and Sasha gasped
“Of course!”
“Then…let’s be friends” Finn said and Sasha’s eyes widened
“Wow,really?”
Finn nodded and Quinn scoffed.
“Is he flirting with her right now?” She muttered
This golden boys walked into the hall,Becky smiled when she saw Valentino,she immediately adjusted on her seat,expecting him to sit with her but Valentino ignored her and walked to the back seat without sparing her a glance
Angelique and Gigi laughed and she glared at them
Reed winked at Soraya and she almost fainted,she faced Shirley
“Did he see that? He just winked at me” She gushed
Reed stood beside Gigi
“This seat is for Vanessa” Gigi immediately said but Reed sat down anyway
“Why are you so stubborn?” Gigi groaned but then Terence sat on her other side too. Reed almost frowned. Gigi turned to Terence
“You too,are you guys trying to make me mad?” She asked
“You look cute when angry” Terence said and Gigi scoffed
“What’s with those two?” Valentino asked Virgil beside him,staring at Terence and Reed
“Who knows?” Virgil chuckled

Vanessa was on her way to the lecture hall,she actually stopped by in Professor Kelly’s office.
All of a sudden Delphine and Julia stopped in front of her,blocking her. Vanessa raised her brows in confusion
“Meaning??” She asked
“Seriously?” Delphine scoffed and moved closer to her
“Just a little warning” she said and Vanessa frowned
“Stay away From Valentino’s sight bitch,stay away” Delphine said and Vanessa laughed
Delphine and Julia exchanged glances
“So…you’re also one of his sluts,wow interesting” Vanessa chuckled
“Is this funny?” Delphine said angrily
“So f**king funny,the fact that We don’t talk and I still get this type of sh*ts. Are you scared?” Vanessa smiled and tucked her hair behind her left ear
“I understand how your feel,if I want him…I will definitely get him,but unfortunately he’s not my type. So don’t worry,He’s safe,okay?” She smirked and flaunt her hair to Delphine’s face before walking away
“That witch,what does she think she is? Every guy’s crush?” Julia scoffed
“I’m going to make her regret ever talking to me this way” Delphine muttered
Vanessa got to the lecture hall and walked straight to Valentino,who was surprised to see her in front of him
“Here” She dropped a single sheet on the desk and Valentino looked at her
“Our meeting schedules,starts today” She said and left his sight without waiting for his response
“Oh wow,did that just happened?” Virgil teased
Valentino took the sheets and scanned through it
‘Five to six everyday for two weeks….’ He read and he didn’t know when a smile escaped his lips
“What are you smiling about?” Virgil asked but Valentino said nothing.

AFTER CLASSES
“Gosh!!! I can’t with ALS,why so wicked?” Angelique groaned tiredly as they walked out of their final class for the day
“My waist” Gigi whined dramatically and they laughed
“My lips” Quinn also groaned
“Wait lips?” Gigi faced her
“My ears are almost bleeding” Erica laughed
“So what’s next? I’m super hungry” Gigi said
“I need to go” Vanessa said as she checked the time
“Oh,is it five already?” Angelique asked
“Yeah” Vanessa replied
“Good luck with your prince charming” Erica said
“F**k you!” Vanessa yelled and they laughed before walking away.
Vanessa sighed out loudly
“Pretty legs” she heard the familiar voice which made her turn immediately
“Giovan” She smiled
“Are you busy?” Giovanni asked
“Not really,why?”
“Wanna eat together?” He asked and Vanessa almost answered yes but when she remembered she’s got something to do she shook her head
“Maybe snacks? I need to be somewhere else” She said and Giovanni nodded
“Then,let’s go” He said and held her hand,Vanessa smiled

STUDY LOUNGE
Valentino checked the time for the umpteenth time,it’s almost 5:30pm and there’s no sign of Vanessa. He sighed out and stood up,he walked to the window and immediately he saw Vanessa coming. He continue staring at her till she finally came in.
“You’re late” He said calmly
“You should have left if you can’t wait” Vanessa rolled her eyes
“So,this is all I get for waiting?? Try to be soft toward me sometimes at least” Valentino said and Vanessa glared at him
“Can we start?” She asked
Valentino grabbed her hand,she tried moving away but he held her more tightly
“What the f**k are you doing?!!” She yelled angrily
“Tell me” Valentino said and she looked up,glaring at him
“Tell me why you detest me this much,I don’t want to care about it but I can’t do that anymore,please” He said,staring softly at her angry face.
“You think I’m one of the girls you fuck around with?? I hate playboys like you! Get off!” She pushed him away and Valentino sighed
“Actually…..” He was trying to talk when the door opened and Giovanni came in
“Hey Vanessa,you forgot this……”
“Shut the f**k up and stop showing up anytime I’m trying to have a damn conversation with her!!” Valentino yelled and pushed Giovanni angrily that he landed on the floor
Vanessa’s eyes widened
“Giovanni!” She called,trying to run over to him but Valentino grabbed her hand and pulled her back
“Leave me alone!” Vanessa shouted and threw an heavy slap on his face which made him calm
“You’re insane” She said and rushed to Giovanni who already got up.
“Are you okay?” She asked worried and Giovanni nodded
“You left your phone….” Vanessa hugged him before he could finish
Valentino glared at them for a while and kicked the nearest chair to him before walking out of the lounge.
