“We can’t go after Mandy or Gina because we don’t have strong evidences against them, plus Jayson already took the law into his hands by going after her, second, Jasper hasn’t really done anything to warrant his arrest…..yet….. and we can’t use his past attack against him because he was a little kid then and the police would rather say he needs medical help, as for Laurence,
we do have evidence but it’s slim, we need more, the whole thing is just messed up and I feel like my head is about to burst” Noah says everything in one go as he falls back on his chair, he looks worn out and stressed
“You need a time out buddy, Jayson told me to be here for the surprise he has planned” Avia said with uneasiness and Noah raised an eyebrow quizzically
“I’m guessing you find your new relationship with Jasmine…….. weird?, you think things are going to get akward due to the way you’ve treated her before?” Noah pointed out and Avia opened her mouth slightly
“I’m just…… nervous and anxious, I feel like a bîtch” Avia said and Noah chuckles at that
“You are going to be just fine around Jasmine, one thing I have learnt about her is that she is very forgiving, I’m sure she knows you were influenced into being a bîtch….. like you said” he said and she hits him playfully
“You are right, I’m going to beg for her forgiveness properly, I screwed up Noah, you have no idea” she said and they both laughed, the door opened and Jayson peeked in head inside the his study room
“Guys, it’s almost time and you need to tone it down before Jasmine wakes up ahead of time, you are talking too loud” he said in a hush tone as he shuts the door silently
“He’s whipped to the core..” Avia said with seriousness as a grin plastered on her face
“He’s gone, he just hasn’t realized that yet” Noah retorted, deep down he just hopes his friend doesn’t get hurt

Jasmine’s Pov
I didn’t want to wake up but the emptiness on the other side of the bed made me groan, I stretched my hands forward but I couldn’t feel his manly muscled body, his scent is still lingering which means it hasn’t been long he left
By the way, I’m taking about Jayson, I know must of you might have figured that out but it’s just a hollow pain when he’s not by my side each time I wake up in the morning, he knows I like waking up to his gorgeous face staring back at me, let’s not forget about the mind blowing face eating……. you know what I mean by that, don’t look at me with those eyes?, he’s my man, okay?
Maybe I’m being a little bit weird but I mean every single word I just said
I opened my eyes fully and stretched, that long eerily yawn ozzed out of me and I exhaled deeply, everywhere seems oddly quiet, the shower isn’t running and I can’t feel Jayson around, shît!
I hurriedly stood up and I don’t know why I didn’t notice but a string tied to my hands pulled and balloons rained down on me, it’s a beautiful sight worth seeing, different colors as I couldn’t help the smile on my face, I looked up and finally noticed the writing hanging above
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY STAR”
My cheeks heated up instantly as I knew who was behind the writing, honestly I forgot today was my birthday and if not for the balloons and this writing, I bet I could have gone the whole day without remembering a thing
“Jayson must be downstairs attempting to burn down the kitchen, I should go stop him” although I didn’t mean to say it out loud but I did, tearing off the string tied up in my middle arm, I yanked the door open and jugged downstairs
“Ugh!, who put out the goddamn lights?” I said with a nausea feeling sneaking up inside me, it’s 6 in the morning but it feels like 4 because the living room is dark…….not too dark though
“Jayson, I’m not in the mood for any pranks, I know it’s my birthday and you can come out now” I said out loud but got nothing, I waited for a few minutes but still got nothing
Heading for the light switch as I carefully walked to avoid falling, what is Jayson up to?, What the hell is happening?
I sigh in relief as I found the switch and turned it on, my heart almost freez as everyone jumped out of nowhere and a loud chrous almost send me to coma
“Happy birthday, Jas!!!!!!!” The sound echoing repeatedly in my ears as my mouth hangs open and my hands glued to my chest, they’re are all here and Jayson walked up to me, I snuggled into his arms as my body was still recovering from the shock, my hands were shaking and he cups both of them….. kissing them tenderly as I looked around
