CHAPTER 29

THE NEXT DAY

Jayson’s Pov

I walked in as I head straight for my room…..my comfort zone

I just finished signing the ownership slip and all that is left is for me to resume the office but my mom hasn’t approved that yet

I sighed tiredly as I flopped on the bed

Finally things are getting interesting and now I’m the boss, well very soon

I never thought it would be this easy to fool my mom, I wasn’t expecting Jasmine to pull it off

I was beyond impressed, but she did her part and I’m so glad that I could go back to my old life

“You have a breef presentation in five!!” Noah yells from the other side of the door and I groaned

I know I wanted to take over but damn!

It’s just 2:00pm in the afternoon and I’m super tired…..

My mind drifted off to yesterday and I shook my head

I’m done with Jasmine and I wouldn’t want to have anything to do with her

She’s annoying and she gets on my nerves and I certainly can’t stay in the same space with her or else things are going to get messy

I ruffled my hair as I entered the bathroom and was done within minutes, I got out with a towel on my waist as I whistled happily

I made to enter the closet when Noah barged into my room and I frowned

“Dude, I know we are both guys but please don’t do that again” I said and he rolled his eyes

“We’ve got a big problem” he said and I frowned

“Will you quit being dramatic and tell me what happened?” I said and he scratched his head nervously

“It’s all over the news, your mom just announced your wedding, you are getting married to Jasmine!” He said as he pointed the tablet at me and there it was

A fixed date and time for my wedding to Jasmine?

The tablet fell from my hands as it smashed into pieces…… Noah kept pacing around as he was also in shock

“What!?” I semi yelled as I stared at no one in particular…… allowing the shock surge through me completely

Jasmine’s Pov

I stood stunned as these wonderful girls finished their magic on me

I could barely recognize myself as I looked at the mirror for the hunthred time……

“Are you satisfied?” The first girl said and I opened my mouth in shock

Is she kidding?…… Is she pulling my legs right now?

Am I dreaming?

I opened my mouth as I faced the mirror again and I just couldn’t form the right words to say

Their eyes bore into mine as I checked myself out

“Are you girls kidding me right now?…… I love it!” I suddenly blurted out excitedly

I look like luxury…. A big bag of golden cash complimenting my golden locks as well

“I’m glad you like it” the second girl said and I smiled

They hardly talk and I’m sure it’s part of the rules they abide to…… I poised my lips as I really wanted to know more from these girls

“So what’s Jayson’s mother like?” I asked and they all looked at me before facing each other while packing up their stuffs

“We are not allowed to share that piece of information with you….. Moreover you should know since you are Sir Jayson’s finacee” the first girl said….. She seems to be the leader and she spoke with such elequent…. So smooth and bold at the same time.
