CHAPTER 48

She stared at me from head to toe before rolling her eyes…..that made me slightly annoyed…..why would she look down on me?

I will have to pin her down earlier than I thought because she needs to be taught a lesson

“Whatever you say….. ugly Jay” she said and walked away as I stood stunned

Did she just realized what she said?

Ugly Jay is the nickname my Jasmine usually calls me and she just randomly said it……am I over thinking this?

My phone started ringing and I walked into my study….. it’s a call from Noah

“What goes on?” I said as I shut the door

There were neatly arranged books on the shelf, a big table with a laptop and a swing chair

The room is an open space and on the left side was a couch

“Bad things I tell you…… I’m just receiving information from the airport” he said in a panicked voice and that made me worried

“What is it?” I asked as my ears itched to know what happened

“I just got a call….that Mandy just arrived and she’s at the airport!” He said and my smile vanished as I ruffled my hair in shock

She really wasn’t joking when she said she would come?

“What?” I asked, unable to believe what I just heard

NEVADA AIRPORT

The buzzingly as different people tried to get in and out of the airport made her sigh in irritation

Taking off her glasses as she finally got away from the crowd

It’s been years and she inheals deeply…… taking in the fresh air that comes with the troubles of Nevada

“Mandy!!….. I’m so happy to see you!” Gina’s shrill voice made her turn as they both hugged each other tightly

“I’m more than happy to see you…. Gina, look at you!” She goshed as they hear towards the car

“You look amazing and I’m sure Jayson wouldn’t be able to take his eyes off you” Gina said excitedly and she smriks

“I heard his married to some slût” she said as her eyes darkened….. looking at no one in particular

The thought of Jayson being married made her angry

“Well…..he got married yesterday” Gina said and Mandy smiled

“Well…..it wouldn’t be a bad idea to pay them a visit now, would it?” She said and Gina frowned a little

“Mom won’t let anyone go see them” Gina huffed and that made Mandy smile

That old witch is trying to ruin what she has taken years to build?…..hell no!

“Lets see about that” she said as they entered the car and drove off in a high speed
