CHAPTER 49

Mrs Mantinda’s Mansion

Mrs Mantinda was busy on her phone when the door opened and Mandy walked in…. Gina was behind her as Mandy beams with smiles

Mrs Mantinda slowly lowered as phone as Mandy scooped besides her, giving her a warm hug…. Gina stood with Mandy’s stuff in her hands

Mrs Mantinda slowly released herself from Mandy’s grip as she looks at her inquiringly

“Mom, I just flew all the way from Spain to this place…..it was hectic and I’m so tired” Mandy said and Mrs Mantinda raised her eyebrows at once

“And why are you here?, you just can’t come into my mansion without telling ahead of time” Mrs Mantinda scolded and Mandy sighs

“It was an emergency journey…..I didn’t know I would come quickly….I would have told you” Mandy pouted but Mrs Mantinda doesn’t seem to buy it

“I’m sorry but you can’t stay here” Mrs Mantinda said and Mandy smiles vanished as Gina also stood confused

“And why mother, you don’t want me to stay in your house?” Mandy asked and Mrs Mantinda rolled her eyes

“You should have prepared yourself before coming, I can’t let you stay here” Mrs Mantinda insisted and Mandy slowly stood up

“Why can’t I stay here?…. there’s got to be a reason” Mandy inquired as she looks at Gina and back at Mrs Mantinda

“Because you can’t, look….I can fix you up with some good angents and you will get a house in thirty minutes…..but I just can’t let you stay with me” Mrs Mantinda said and Mandy chuckled while brushing her hair with her long fingers backwards

“You are not making any sense….. your daughter in law to be is in your house and you can’t even welcome her properly…… that’s not fair!” Mandy suddenly snapped and Mrs Mantinda shut her eyes…. trying to suppress her building anger

“Daughter in-law?, Mandy I know I said you were going to get married to Jayson but things changed and now he’s married and you shouldn’t be here….

That’s the reason why I said you can’t stay here because I won’t sit back and watch you stress the newly wedded bride in my house!”

Mrs Mantinda snapped hotly and Gina wanted to interfere but Mrs Mantinda held her hand up…. shutting her immediately

“So you are saying I should go back!?, You fcking stabbed me in the back and now you are yelling at me!?” Mandy fires and Mrs Mantinda tilted her head backwards in shock

Mandy blinked repeatedly immediately she realized what she did and calmed down a little…..she rubbed her forehead as she tries to get herself under control

Mrs Mantinda slowly stood up with a surprise look on her face as she Mandy tried to defend herself but Mrs Mantinda wasn’t ready to listen

“Get out, I don’t want to see you here again” Mrs Mantinda said with all seriousness as Mandy’s jaw dropped

“But mother, this isn’t fair!” Gina bursted and Mrs Mantinda shot her a glare…. Gina looks away with an angry gesture

“Are you seriously asking me to leave?” Mandy asked in shock as she couldn’t believe her ears

“Get….outtttttt” Mrs Mantinda said…. stressing the on the last word as she walked away in anger

It took Mandy a while to realize that her supposed mother inlaw just chased her out

“Gina…..text me the address of Jayson’s new house….. immediately” Mandy said with grethed teeth as she stared at Mrs Mantinda’s retreating figure

“On it….” Gina trails as she brought out her phone

Jasmine’s Pov

*Why is everything around here so boring?*

I thought as I scrolled through the TV and there’s absolutely nothing interesting to watch…..I yawned as I stretched my hands in the remaining vinegar chips Mika forcefully took from me

Now I’m missing her badly and I’m bored to death

I groaned loudly as I tossed the remote control aside…… hugging myself as I looked at the current channel that might turn out interesting

The sounds of feet climbing down the stairs made me turn as Jayson was cladded in a suit…..he looks so professional…..if I hadn’t known him before, I wouldn’t believe he’s a chronic womanizer

He simply head for the door and I stood up immediately

“Woah, woah, woah….. where are you going to in haste?” I blurted out and he stopped…. facing me

“As you can see, I’m going out” he said brashly and I folded my hands…. sticking them together under my boóbs as I stared at him questioningly.
