CHAPTER 60

Mika entered the kitchen and no one was there, she actually came to check on Roland but couldn’t find him

She shrugged her shoulders as she made to leave when she bumped into Delilah…..a frown appeared on her face instantly

“Can I talk to you?” Delilah asked and Mika scoffed

“No” Mika simply said and made to leave but Delilah stopped her

Mika stared at her hand as Delilah held her tightly and she wriggles her hands off

“Why are so mean to me?, We don’t even know each other to warrant such hatered” Delilah said and Mika couldn’t help but feel like something is up with her, Delilah was just to calm for her liking

“You are pretending to be nice, and I hate fake people” Mika said and Delilah almost laughed

“You don’t me me well enough to say that, or is it because of Roland?” Delilah asked and Mika’s lips parted slightly…..she immediately frowned as she taunts towards her with a glare

“I don’t have the time to hold grudges over a boy, I don’t like you and we are never going to be friends…..stay away from me” Mika said in a whisper and Roland walked in…..he immediately sensed the tension between them and pulled them apart

“What’s going on?” Roland asked and Mika stared at the both of them before walking away…. making sure she slammed the door shut, almost bringing down the building

“I think she’s jealous” Delilah said and Roland frowned

“Of what?” Roland asked and Delilah smile as she looks at him

“Never mind, what do you want to do?” She asked and he looks at her with a suspicious smile

“Nothing….” He said and she smiles at him with a knowing smrik behind the smile

She’s going to make sure she achieves what she came here for

Jayson’s Pov

I climbed down the stairs and couldn’t find Jasmine there anymore, she must be in her room

My mind drifted off to how tensed she looked some hours ago, it felt like she was dealing with something disturbing and she badly wanted to share it

My head turned as I saw her climbing down the stairs looking all dressed up, she’s putting on a nude brown gown that stopped just after her àss, hugging every single angle of her gorgeous body and a jacket on her shoulder, she wasn’t wearing the jacket and it had stripes on the sides

I didn’t know why but I suddenly felt somehow seeing her that exposed….why would she want to go out like that?

“I will back soon…” She said with a charming smile as she waved at me and I halted her immediately

“Where are you going to dressed like that?” I asked rather possessively than I intended to

She paused and looked at herself before looking back at me

“I’m bored and I want to receive some fresh air, it’s been almost a week and I haven’t left this place, I don’t even know what the sky looks like anymore” she said and my eyes trails over her and her dress…..I don’t like how it looks on her

It’s an attention seeker and Jasmine surely knows how to makes heads turn with this body of her’s….. and I can’t stand that

” I don’t have anything against you going out, but I can’t let you go out in that dress….go change into something else or better still don’t go anywhere” I said with a serious tone and she titls her head in shock

“Are you serious?, You might be my husband but you are not the husband to my closet, you can’t tell me how to dress, it’s my body and it’s not yours to command” she said as she stared at me dauntingly…..I walked up to her and she didn’t move an inch as she stared back at me in the eye

No single makeup but she’s still captivating

More reason why I’m worried about other men staring at her, I won’t and I would never take it

“Go change…. right now” I said commandingly and she scoffed

“You are talking bullshîts and it makes no sense….. I’m not going to change, does this dress affect you in any way?” She asked and I felt challenged, she’s too stubborn and daring

“I don’t like provocative outfits…. certainly not to the woman I’m married to, what do you want people to say?” I asked and she rolled her eyes

“Is this about people or you!?” She snapped and I couldn’t take it anymore…..her being so stubborn is putting ideas in my head and she doesn’t seem to know that

“Go change right now or you are not going anywhere” I said with gritted teeth and she moved closer to me

“I’m not going to change and you can’t force me……” She trails and I grabbed her hands roughly, pulling her close to me as our bodies touched

“I dare you to say one more word contradicting mine and I swear, I will make you scream my name in ways you can’t imagine…” I said defiantly and her eyes widened as she opened her mouth to say something but no words came out
