CHAPTER 54

“Mandy you can’t be seen here, I’ve worked so hard to get to this point and I won’t let jeopardize it” I said and she looks at me warily, as if I’ve grown horns

“So it’s because of Jasmine?, I thought she died years ago but clearly she didn’t and now you are stuck in that stupid childish love thing you once had with her!” She snapped and I glared at her…. Noah immediately stepped backwards

“For your information, that girl isn’t my Jasmine and don’t you dare refer to the only thing that ever mattered to me as childish” I said with a cold glare in my eyes

“What are you talking about!?, that girl is Jasmine, the stupid, fat, glutton that you stupidly fell in love with……”

“Enough!!!!……get out!, I don’t want to see you!” I half yelled and she flinched….but soon a smirk appeared on her face

“I see you don’t want to accept the truth, well it’s a good thing though because I still have a chance to win you back” she said and I looked at her dauntingly

“Nothing is ever going to happen between us, just go back to Spain and find yourself someone else” I blurted out, walking towards my seat and she smiles

“I promise you Jayson, if I can’t have you?, then no one else will” she said with a mischievous grin and walked out….. leaving me stunned as I watched her retreating figure

“She really can’t do anything right?” Noah asked with a nervous smile and my gaze hardened

“I don’t trust her, double the securities in my house immediately” I said as I lowered myself and sat down

“Yes sir….” He said and I stroked my chin thoughtfully

The things she said started reflecting in my head as I opened my system and clicked on the search box

“Jasmine Corey” I typed and waited patiently for it to load

Immediately different pictures of different girls appeared on the screen and I started taking a look….. but I couldn’t find Jasmine

I only saw a picture of the bigger version of the one I’m married to, I decided to do a little diggings but nothing about her childhood appeared

I turned off the system

What if, just what if that’s my Jasmine?

Night Time

Jasmine’s Pov

I climbed down the stairs and met Jayson on his system

It’s almost nine and I wanted to watch a movie before going to bed and why isn’t he in his study room

I sat down beside him on the large couch and he looked at me for a while before facing his system, ignoring his stare as I turned on the TV and he groans

“What?” I asked, pretending as if I didn’t know why he was pissed

“Can you turn it off?, I’m working” he said and I scoffed

“Excuse you Mr, this is the living room and not some work space…..if you want to work you can go to your study room” I said and he rolled his eyes

“Just turn it off” he repeated and I rolled my eyes

“Are you for real?, You can’t ask me to do whatever you want simply because you are Jayson……go to your room or feel free to join me” I said and he simply placed his system away as he stood up and turned off the TV

I gasped loudly as I jumped on my feet and turned it on.
