CHAPTER 63

Jasmine’s Pov

Mika arrived just in time and I opened the door for her

“I’m so excited…. girls night out!” Mika yells loudly and immediately covers her mouth, ” is your hubby home?” She asked and I laughed at her weird behavior

“No, he’s not…. which is why I will be doing what I want tonight and you’re coming with me” I said and she claps excitedly

“Did something happen between the both of you?” Mika suddenly asked as she frowned a little

“I’d rather not say….” I trailed as my cheeks almost heated up, my mind drifting off to what happened earlier

Mika eyes suddenly lit up as she grabbed my hands

“Oh my God!, did you guys had…..”

“Don’t say it!…..” I cut her off sharply “we didn’t do anything…. and we are never doing anything… just help me pick a nice outfit” I said hurriedly, dragging her up the stairs as she chuckles loudly

“Keep pretending as if you don’t like this guy…..I can’t wait for you to fall head over heels for him and watch you have boy fever..” she said sarcastically and I thumped her forehead as we entered my room

“So you want me to pick an outfit right….. hold on a second” Mika said as she entered my closet and in three seconds she was out with two dazzling dresses……I smiled as she wiggles both dresses in front of me

“Are you going with the red or the blue?” She asked and I bit my lips in thought, since Jayson won’t be there why can’t I just have a little fun?

“Red…..I love it” I said and she immediately frowned as she shakes her head negatively

“It’s too exposed, look at the stripes on the back and sides…. and the long slit…. what if Jayson sees you in this?” Mika protest and I stood up, taking the dress from her

“Jayson ain’t my father plus he won’t be there, I feel like a granny in this marriage” I said with a pout and she sighs

“Fine, as long as Jayson won’t be there, I guess it’s okay….. now time to find my dress” she said as she entered and within a second she was out with a matching red dress, only her’s was a bit covery

“Even though your àss is bigger than mine, I think I would look fantastic in this dress” she said and we chuckled

We started getting ready and in no time we were ready, we goshed at ourselves as we took a few pictures

“We should hurry, we are almost late” Mika said and I took her hands, walking down the stairs as we met Noah standing in the living room

He froze as our eyes met and looked at me and Mika before blinking repeatedly, I saw the words and numbness in his eyes but he just couldn’t say it, Jayson doesn’t know he has a treasure stored in his house…..me

Growing up, I was always insecure of my body, my size was two times bigger than a bowling ball, my red cheeks and bugling eyes did no good as I looked like an alien…..well that’s what I was been referred to by my fellow age mates

But I as I got older, I started noticing some changes and boom!….I turned out beautiful and thin….the good kind of thin

“I’m sorry, but sir Jayson instructed me not to let you leave this house” Noah said and I threw a gaze at Mika and she equally stared at me

“If you don’t let me go, I will not just make your life myserable but I was also put your job at stake, you know Jayson listens to me right?” I said with a smirk and he suddenly went cold as I shoved him out of the way with my right hand….. Mika giggled as we walked out and the driver took us away…..
