CHAPTER 75

Mika left without saying a word as she didn’t know what to say to her bestfriend…..a contract marriage?, and she didn’t bother to tell her about it?

She shook her head as she took the elevator that leads to their resort and she stopped right in front of the glass door, staring through as she watched Delilah flaunting herself over Roland

She smriks as she stepped back, isn’t it too early to reveal herself to Delilah?

“What are you doing here?” Jasper’s voice came from behind and she turned

“Because I work here, why are you talking gibberish?” Mika answered with a frown and Jasper smriks

“I see the new girl making a move on Roland fast, doesn’t that bother you?” Jasper asked and she rolled her eyes

“Mind your own business, pûnk” Mika said as she walked away

Immediately she left Delilah walked out, she looks around but only saw Jasper

“I thought I saw someone else standing here?” she asked and Jasper simply brushed past her

Ignoring her question completely and she clenched her fists, it better not be who she thinks it is

“She’s dead, I’m sure of it” Delilah said as she entered and Mika poked her head out with a mischievous grin on her face

This is going to be good

Jasmine’s Pov

It’s been hours and Jayson hasn’t returned home yet, I stood up and walked towards the door for the hundredth time to check if he’s back, I need to tell him the truth before he finds out himself

Mika left without saying a word, I know she’s mad and if I were her?, I’d be mad too

Don’t blame me though, it’s a secret and I already broke part of the deal by telling Mika, why am I betraying people that trust me?

I suddenly felt chills all over and I knew it was going to rain, I can feel it…..I hurriedly went upstairs to get my pills, I don’t even think I have any left

More reason why I need to go out

I opened closet and started scattering everything, I can’t find it, I don’t even have anything….. barging out as I grabbed my phone and dails Mika’s number…..

“Pick up, this isn’t the time to stay angry at me” I muttered as she didn’t pick…. fúck!

My heart beat crazily as I slowly slipped to the ground, my hands were starting to shake as I could clearly hear the cold breeze colliding with the windows, making squeaking sounds, I hugged myself tightly as the lights suddenly went off

“No way this is happening now!!?” I shrieked as I took my phone, I tried opening it but I couldn’t because my eyes were blurry with tears…..my phone fell roughly on the ground and I flinched as I felt my throat akwardly drying up as I found it difficult to breathe

I just hate the feeling of rain, I lost my parents in the middle of a heavy down pour and since then, I just don’t like hearing the sound of rain
