CHAPTER 13

2PM~PALACE KITCHEN

Aurora was rushing the meal as Madam Eloise patted her hair.

“You should have come to the kitchen……… Aurora” Eloise muttered and Aurora looked at her.

“You were not asked not to come into the kitchen, the emperor didn’t specify that”

“I wanted to but I was given works to do” she hummed as her mouth were filled.

“You should have ignored them, they are just like you…….. don’t be affected by them, don’t let them degrade you” Madam Eloise urged and she nods.

“But I’m just a slave”

“It doesn’t matter Aurora, come to the kitchen anytime you are hungry………” Madam Eloise said and she sighs.

“Just continue eating……” Madam Eloise smiled at her and she focused on her food.

EMP. AUGUSTUS CHAMBER~NIGHT

Augustus was boiling in anger as he waited for the guards to bring in Aurora. He had been waiting for her ever since he called for her but she ignored.

The guards dragged Aurora on the floor down to the chamber as she cried continuously.

“My lord” She coughed out and Augustus took fast strides to her grabbing her neck up.

“How dare you defile my order” he growled as she struggled to breathe.

“Forgive me……..My lord” she Struggled to say.

“Forgive…….do you think this I am that nice” he half yelled and she took her lips in as she gulped down nothing.

“Please….My lord…..hear me……out…..for….once” she muttered and the Emperor released his hold on her and she fell on the ground coughing out while holding her neck which was already red from his tight hold earlier.

“What do you have to say” he asked, his voice devoid of emotion.

“I wasn’t intentional….My lord, I didn’t mean to ignore” she said.

“Then why” he yelled.

“It…your Mistress”

“What has she got to do with this” he gritted his teeth.

“She asked me not to come tonight, that she wants to be with you” She explained.

“Are you here to serve her or me, you dumb slave” he growled and she bowed her head.

“Forgive me, My lord…. She threatened to make my life a living hell” she added.

“And so, is she the one you are serving” He asked angrily.

“Forgive me, my lord” she bowed fearfully thinking he’ll punish her again.

“out” he Muttered but she didn’t hear him clearly.

“My…lol…”

“Get out” he yelled and she quickly scurried out of his chamber.
