CHAPTER 95

Aurora was walking towards the stairs alone down to her suite with a smile on her face, she felt a presence at her back and she stopped looking back but saw no one.

“Who is there” she said loudly but everywhere was silent.

She turned front and continued then she heard footsteps, she looked back again but saw no one.

“Am I hallucinating, or are my ears malfunctioning” she muttered inwardly.

She walked closer to the stairs when she heard footsteps again, she turned back and saw no one

“This is weird”

Just as she was about to climb the stairs, she felt a hand pushed her and she fell. Her eyes widened as she rolled down the stairs landing on the ground.

She suddenly felt a sharp pain gripped her in her tummy and she screamed “Ahhhhhhhhhhh”

She breath repeatedly and looked up to see blood coming out of her thigh.

“Oh….No..” She screamed and fell unconscious in her own pool of blood.

Augustus was walking towards the stairs when a guard rushed to him suddenly.

“Your highness, Lady Aurora is unconscious by the stairs” he knelt down.

“What!!!!” Augustus exclaimed and rushed down to the stairs, his blood seized for a seconds, his mouth wide agape as he met Aurora laid flat in her own pool of blood.

“Fuck” he mumbled and scooped Aurora in her arms dashing out the scene.

ESMERALDA’S CHAMBER

Esmeralda sat in front of her mirror, a smirk playing on her lips.

She looked at her reflection and she smirked more. “She killed my baby and I’ll kill hers too”

“It either she dies or the baby dies” She laughed mischievously, as her voice echoed through her Lounge wall.

“I can’t wait to hear the news” she giggled dramatically still laughing.

She stood up to see a figure before her revealing Alora

“Who are you” Esmeralda asked checking maybe her door isn’t left opened but it was locked.

“How did you get in” She asked curiously, her smirk fading away from her face.

“Keep quiet, I want you to now go to the emperor’s chamber and tell them what you just did” Alora commanded.

“Who are you to tell me what to do” Esmeralda asked, twitching her lips.

“Go and reveal what you did right now” Alora pointed at the door.

“No, I won’t…….it is tit for tat. She killed my baby and I’ll kill hers too” Esmeralda spat.

“Then you will go the hard way” Alora said and used her eyes to compell her and Esmeralda stood still.

“Now go and reveal what you just did” Alora commanded and Esmeralda nodded slowly going out of her chamber alone.
