” We meet again Lina ” He muttered and smiled, Sofina stared at him with total confusion……..

The five men who were assigned to protect her, quickly ran towards her.
Sofina also got down from his hand and bowed to him.
“Thanks ” She mumbled and wanted to walk pass him , he grabbed her wrist making her frown.
“Sir you can’t touch her like that ” One of the men said and tried to get Marcus hand off sofina’s wrist but Marcus glared at him.
The man gasped when he saw Marcus face , he recognized him as the boss of the snake clan , their rival.
“Get prepared to protect the Lord’s woman if he does anything funny ” The men whispered into the other men ears and they nodded positively reaching out for the Guns in their jackets.
“Lina ” He said and Sofina forceful yanked her hand out of his hand.
“I am sorry but my name is not Lina , I am SOFINA ” Sofina said stressing her name.
“She doesn’t remember me , does that means She wasn’t Reborn with her past life memories ? ” Marcus asked himself inwardly.
“Hmm sorry I mistook you for one of my friends ” Marcus lied.
“It alright ” Sofina said and he smiled.
“You are really beautiful by the way , can I have your number ? ”
“Sorry but I am married ” Sofina lied , for some reasons she felt uncomfortable with the stranger.
Marcus eyes went to her hand and he chuckled when he saw no Ring on her finger.
“But you are not wearing a wedding ring ” He said and Sofina coughed awkwardly.
“Here , have my card ” Marcus said and stretched out his card to Sofina.
Sofina stared at it not wanting to accept it.
“Come on , I just saved you from falling you should at least acknowledge me ” Marcus said , smiling as he still stretched out the card to her.
Sofina sighed then collected it from him.
“Once again thanks ” She muttered before going to pay for the novel then she stepped out with the men behind her.
“Boss that lady you just talked with is Lord Hardin’s girl ” One of Marcus men who had been watching what was going on between Sofina and Marcus said.
“What ? ”
“Boss I don’t know if you remember , she is the girl who master Stephen asked you to get for him ” the man said again and Marcus eyes widen.
That means Sofina was now with Hardin!!! , No wonder she looked familiar when he saw her , who would have thought the girl he once helped Stephen to get is his bride.
His hands balled tightly to a fist and he grit His teeth angrily.
Just when he was starting to get happy that he found sofina first , he was told that Hardin has been with Sofina from the start.

“That all for today class , see you next time ” The biology teacher said and smiled before she stepped out of the class.
Pearl picked up her phone and textbook then stepped out of the class.
Emory and Sofina weren’t have class today so it was just her.
She was walking down the school Corridor when she heard someone shouting her name she turned around only to see Owen running towards her.
“Hey , I had been looking all over for you ” He said with a smile.
“Hi ” Pearl answered and gave him a fake smile.
“Pearl are you alright ? ” Owen asked and touched her forehead with his hand.
Pearl looked pale than usual and she looks sad.
“I am fine , Sofina isn’t in school today cause she doesn’t have class today ”
“Oh I knew that already , I didn’t come here to ask you about Sofina ” Owen said.
“You didn’t ? ” Pearl asked , She and Owen sometimes hang out together and the only reason was because of sofina so she was surprised when he said he wasn’t looking for her because of sofina.
“Actually I brought two tickets to the water park , one for me and one for Oliver but that punk ditched me so I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind to go to the water park with me ”
“I would love to but I am….”
“Pretty please ” Owen grabbed her hand and gave her his puppy eyes.
“Alright fine I will go to the water park with you ” Pearl said and he smiled happily.
“Thanks! Wait right here I will go and get my car ” He said and gave her quick hug before running off to get his car.
Pearl was laughing and shaking her head sideways, as she watched Owen run away.
She looked away when her phone started to vibrate in her bag.
She took it out, her smiling face turned sore when she saw it was Max calling.
She switched off her phone then placed it back into her bag.
She had come to a conclusion to stop loving Max.

“Are you sure you can carry that ? ” A woman asked the guy who was attempting to carry three basket of cabbage off the truck.
“Yes ma ” the guy replied and carried the three basket of cabbage inside the restaurant kitchen.
“Such a hard working boy , he would surely make it in life ” The woman said , smiling as she watched the boy.
A cab pulled over Infront of the restaurant , the door opened and Emory stepped out , she closed the cab door and the cab zoomed off.
“Mom!! ” She shouted like a kid and ran towards her mom with her hands opened .
Her mom scoffed and rolled her eyes.
“Are you even my daughter ?! See the Time you are just coming to help me , if not for that good boy who started working for me I would have to carry all this ingredients myself!! ” Her mom snapped at her and pulled her right ear.
“Ouch!!! Mom I am sorry , I over slept don’t be mad at me I am your only child you should love and pamper me ” Emory said and her mom scoffed before releasing her ear.
“Stop talking and start working ” She said and hit Emory on her back.
“Mom!! ” Emory whinned before carrying one basket of onions inside.
“Maria your daughter is a Pretty girl ” The truck driver who delivers the ingredients to Emory’s mom restaurant said.
“Thank you but she is a handful ” Maria , Emory’s mom said and she and man burst into laughter.
Emory walked into the kitchen with the basket of onions , she placed it inside the small storeroom that is located inside the kitchen.
“You could only carry one basket ? So lazy ” She heard a familiar voice behind her than a scoff.
“Oliver? It can’t be ” She muttered and turned around.
There was Oliver who was standing behind her , looking handsome and breathtaken as always.
“What is he doing here ? Oh my goodness he is wearing the workers uniform?! Is he the new guy mom won’t stop ranting about ? ” Different questions were flowing though Emory’s head.
“What are you doing here ? ”
“I work here ” Oliver said and she chuckled.
“Why would you need to work ? You are the son of a millionaire , your parents would be mad if they see you do this kind of work so please leave ” Emory said and pointed at the door.
Oliver walked towards her , he stood Infront of her, the two of them stared at each other eye to eye.
“They wouldn’t be mad cause I am chasing after my dream ” Oliver said and Emory frowned.
Is he crazy?! Who dreams of becoming a cash register to a small local restaurants?!!
“Are you insane ?! Your dream is to work in a small shabby restaurant like this one ?! ” Emory half yelled.
Oliver leaned closer to her , he still had a smile on his face.
“You got me all wrong Emory , I am chasing after you , you are my dream ” Oliver muttered.
Emory mouth part opened , shocked and surprised by his words.
Oliver took the opportunity and gave her a quick peck on the cheek then walked out.
Emory’s face instantly flushed red , she placed one of her hand on her face still struck by Oliver’s word.
“He is surely insane ” She muttered and shook her head sideways.

Juliet was working on some Documents when she heard a knock on the door.
“Yes ” She answered and the door opened.
Mr sliver stepped in and Juliet frowned wondering the reason why he came to her company.
Never the less she stood up from her chair , they both smiled at each other and shook hands.
“To whom do I owe this visit ? ” Juliet asked as they both took Their seats.
Mr sliver laughed shortly then cleared his throat.
“I won’t beat around the bush Juliet , you have a worker here and I would be happy if you can sack the person ” Mr sliver said.
Juliet was surprised , which of her workers got on Mr sliver nerves for him to want the person sacked.
“Who ? ”
“Max , Max Roseland ” Mr sliver said and a instant frown crept up Juliet’s face.
“Mr sliver I don’t know what or how Max wronged you but he is a really good worker here and he is hardworking ”
“He didn’t wrong me in anyway , Max is my son , he is going to be the Owner of the Sliver’s company sooner or later I want him to start working as the manager of my company but I know he isn’t going to , so I need you to sack him , once he becomes jobless , he will have no choice but to come and start working in my company ”
Juliet became speechless not knowing what to say.
“I will give you time to think about it and when next I come back I hope to receive a positive reply from you ” Mr sliver said and stood up then he left.
Juliet sighed and leaned on the back of her chair , pondering on what to do.

TWO WEEKS LATER ~ DEVIL’S CLAN
“Lord Hardin ” Sky called Hardin who was on his way to Sofina’s room.
Sky ran towards him and when he got to him , he bowed down.
Hardin was gone for two weeks and was just coming back.
“Lord Hardin the mission ? ”
“Successful ” Hardin answered.
The other day , Hardin traveled out of Mexico with some of the clan members , to deal with a clan that messed with them.
“Do you have something to tell me ? ” Hardin asked , he could tell that sky wanted to tell him something but he was afraid.
“Lord Hardin , your woman met with Marcus when you were away , they met by accident the men protecting her that day said Marcus was trying to interact with her ” Sky mumbled with his head hang low.
“Is that all ? ” Hardin asked and he nodded positively.
“You may go ” He bowed before taking his leave.
“Shadow ? ” Hardin muttered and thick black smokes came out of his body.
“Why would Marcus try to get close to Sofina ? Is it possible that he knows that she is my bride ? ” Hardin asked the shadow as he walked , the shadow flow in the air , following him.
“That impossible only you knows who your bride is but I don’t trust that Marcus it best you make sure Sofina stays away from him that man is dangerous ” The shadow said before disappearing into Hardin’s body.
Hardin arrived by the doorstep of Sofina’s room, he knocked on the door.
“Come in ” A smile appeared on his face when he heard her voice.
He opened the door and stepped in , Sofina who was laying on the bed and reading the novel she got from the book store raised her head up to see who it was.
Her eyes widen when she saw Hardin.
“Hardin!! ” She didn’t know when she screamed his name , jumped off the bed and ran to hug him.
She missed him so much even though she keeps denying it , not wanting to accept the fact that she now likes Hardin being around her.
“Looks like my little butterfly missed me ” Hardin said and chuckled.
Sofina broke the hug then cleared her throat.
“Heck no! I was just excited to see you , I didn’t miss you ” She mumbled and wrapped her hands around her Chest.
“Keep denying it butterfly but you know you missed me ” Hardin said and she scoffed.
Hardin’s eyes suddenly lit up when he saw Sofina’s right knees bandaged up.
“What happened to your right knees ? ” He asked and she gulped down nervously.
“I fell she lied ” And Hardin glared at her.
“Okay fine , Flora went nuts when you weren’t around and got into a fight with me but don’t worry I made sure to beat her well ” Sofina said and smiled.
“I have to teach that Flora a little lesson ” Hardin thought inwardly.
She grabbed his hand and pulled him to her bed making him sit on the bed.
“Sit here ” She mumbled and walked into her closet.
“Does she wants to show me a new dress ? ” He mumbled.
Sofina stepped out of her closet after few minutes with her hands behind her.
She walked towards Hardin who was still sitting on the bed, standing Infront of him.
She took out her hands that she hide behind her , a small red box was in her hands.
She got a matching couple ring for her Hardin the day she met Marcus.
She smiled then opened the little box , and took out the two rings that were in the small box.
Hardin watched her without saying anything.
She wore one of the ring on her left hand finger and lifted Hardin’s hand then she slide the ring into his finger.
“Wow it fits perfectly and it beautiful! ” Sofina gushed happily , looking at the rings that were on their fingers with admiration.
“Butterfly are you proposing to me ? ”
“What ?! no! I just got us a matching couple ring and wore it for y…” Sofina stopped talking , When she realized she just indirectly proposed to him.
“Well I… ”
Hardin pulled her , and made her sit on his lap.
” One thing is missing ”
“Missing? What missing ? ” She asked and innocently blinked her eyes.
“A kiss to seal the proposal ” Hardin said and claimed her lips.
Sofina’s eyes widen during the kiss but it later closed , she wrapped her hands around his neck and kissed him back.
Hardin stood up from the bed, carrying her without breaking the kiss, he lay her on the bed hovering over her.
Both lips made a pop sound when Hardin broke the kiss.
“How about we take this to the next level ? ” Hardin asked with a smirk on his face………
