“Don’t be afraid Amber , you are the king’s future bride he would never hurt you cause you taught his personal maid a lesson ” Amber assured herself inwardly before smiling.
The dinning room door opened and Chief North , Chief Fire , Echo and some other chiefs walked in.
“King Hardin ” She called making her voice more thinner than usual.
She walked towards him and was planning to cringe on him and acting like the victim , but Hardin harshly pushed her away.
Everybody present apart from Sofina in the dinning room gasped as they watched Her fall flat on the ground.
Hardin walked towards Sofina , he bent down and easily scooped her up in his arms.
Everyone gasped in shock and the maid’s started mumbling between themselves.

Hardin glared Coldly at the Mumering maid’s and they all kept their mouth shut.
Amber clenched her hands to fist , deeply embarrassed by Hardin’s actions , she got up from the floor and dusted the invisible dirt of her hands and robe.
“Are you alright ? ” Hardin asked Sofina with a gentle and caring voice.
“No I am not, that mean lady slapped me she also kicked my waist it hurts so much my handsome devil ” Sofina said and pouted her lips sadly.
Her eyes instantly started glinting with tears.
Sofina intentionally didn’t hit Amber back, she wanted Hardin to deal with her himself, she decided to top her games by acting pitiful.
Hardin jaw harden tightly as he looked at his woman.
“Amber?!!! ”
Hardin yelled thunderously , his eyes became red and Amber started floating in mid air , strangling herself with her hands.
The maid’s , chiefs and Echo quickly went on their knees touching the floor with their forehead, they were all terrified of Hardin right now.
“King Hardin please don’t kill my daughter please ” Chief North started begging rubbing his palm together , his forehead was still on the floor.
Sofina looked at Amber who was still hanging in the air , her face was now turning purple because of lack of air and she was wriggling her feet desperately in the air.
Sofina bit her lower lip nervously , this was not what she wanted to happen , she looked at Hardin who was still carrying her in his arms.
He looked really Angry and different from ty Hardin she knew.
“Hardin that enough she will die if this continues , please stop ” Sofina pleaded.
“That is what I want ” He replied Coldly , it was as if he changed to another person.
Sofina placed her hands on his face and slammed her lips on him , kissing him slowly and tenderly.
Sofina kiss managed to make him snap back to life and make the devil in him calm down a little , his eyes turned back to black and Amber fell down, injuring her Ankle.
Hardin broke the kiss and gave her a small smile.
“Sorry I lost control , did I scare you ? ” He asked.
“It fine ” Sofina mumbled and he pecked her forehead deeply.
“I still have to punish that fool ” Hardin said pointing at Amber who sobbing loudly because of her injured ankle and bruised neck.
” You have done enough already please don’t do anything to her again ” Sofina plead and he chuckled.
” You are too nice ” He said and she flashed him a smile , he stroke her hair and smiled back at her before facing the others.
“All of you get out ” He ordered and everybody stood up and went out ASAP.
Chief North assisted his daughter out , supporting her out.
“Where did you went to by the way ? ” Sofina asked Hardin as he carried her to the dinning table.
Hardin sat on the chair that was meant for him and placed Sofina on his lap.
“I went to get you this ” Hardin said and gave her the bouquet of Emilos that she failed to notice he had in his hand the whole time.
“Oh my gosh it so beautiful and it smells nice ” Sofina said admiring the Emilos.
“It a rear flower that blooms every Three hundred years , my dad used to get this for my mom when they were alive ”
Sofina wanted to ask him the cause of their death but decided not to , it was a sensitive question and it might make him sad, she always felt sad whenever she remembered that she never got to spend time with her mom before she passed away.
“Really ? Your dad sounds romantic , no wonder why you are so skilled with flirting and charming me ” Sofina said and pinched his cheek.
“I learnt form the best ” Hardin said and claimed her lips.

OWEN’S PENTHOUSE
Pearl and Owen were sitting next to each other on the couch, Owen brought her over to his house.
They had cups of coffee on the table but none of them have taken a sip out of it.
It was just the two of them in Owen’s penthouse.
Owen could tell that pearl was holding back her tears , he could also tell that she was deeply hurt.
“Pearl , you don’t have to hold it in , it just me and you here feel free to cry I totally understand you ” Owen muttered.
Pearl decided to let it all out , she started weeping uncontrollably , she was totally broken now.
All she ever wanted and wished for was to have Max by her side , was that too much to ask for ? words alone couldn’t explain and tell how happy she was when Max told her he was going to marry her in the future.
“I trusted him , I loved him Owen I really did but he never did instead he took pity on me and dated Me out of pity , why would he do that ? ” Pearl asked between her Tears , wiping her tears with the Sleeve of the hoodie she was wearing.
“Pearl some times it best to let things go not every time we end up with the one we love take me for instance , I love sofina but she doesn’t feels the same , I was planning to ask her out but stopped when I saw a ring on her finger , my heart was beyond broken all i yearned for was her love but it impossible , it took me a lot of courage to push down the feelings I have , infact I still like her but I am not going to be a pain in the a$$ instead I will watch her live happily with the one she loves from a distance ” Owen said and Pearl sniffed and cleaned her tears
“Sorry you had to go through all that , I guess I was a bit lucky I still got to spend quality time with him and had him as my boyfriend even if it was fake but you , you even never got to spend time with Sofina you didn’t even get to confess your feelings to her ”
“Story of my life ” Owen said and faked a smile.
“You don’t have to fake a smile , just like you said earlier it just me and you here feel free to cry ” Pearl said and hugged him.
Owen hugged her back crying in her arms.
“Gosh I feel like a fool I am supposed to console you but it went the other way round I am sorry ” Owen said and Pearl chuckled and pat his back.
“No you are not a fool , we both are just people with a broken heart ” Pearl mumbled and he tighten the hug.
“We should hang out more often ” He muttered.
“Yes we should , we both are so alike two broken people ” She said and he chuckled sadly.

Work was quite easy and peaceful for Max today , Juliet didn’t show up in the company all day.
Max was packing out for the day, he just finished working and was now heading home.
He quickly took out his phone from his pocket when it vibrated.
He hissed and put his phone inside his pocket when he saw it was spam message , he thought it was Pearl .
He had been expecting her call or text message since he got to work but he got none , she didn’t even bring lunch from him and that was unusual of her.
“Is she alright…. What a minute ?! What is todays date ? ” He asked himself and quickly took out his phone from his pocket.
“Oh shit! I totally forgot that her period started today , she must be having stomach cramps now , I should get her some medicine and chocolates ” Max Said and carried his briefcase then he head out.

Max stepped out of the pharmacy with a black nylon that had stomach cramps Relief drugs , he already went to a nearby snack shop and got her chocolate and yummy treats she always eat.
He was now walking down the street hoping to See a cab.
Suddenly a car pulled over beside him , the door opened and Juliet stepped out looking all different.
Her hair was no longer black as it was when she met Pearl , instead it was white and instead of her normal usual sassy badass clothes she was dressed like a cute teenager, a short jean mini skirt that exposed her long legs and laps and a small black tank top that showed off her big b**bs and navel and she also wore a white sneakers.
Max was looking really confused by her way of dressing and her new hair colour.
“Hi Max ” She called happily and waved at him.
“What is the meaning of this ? ” Max asked already looking annoyed cause people were now looking at him and Juliet.
“What do you think about my new look ? I decided to dye my hair white after I saw Pearl’s hair I thought you might like it , so how do I look ? ” She asked and turned around.
“Wait!! You saw Pearl?! Why would you go and see my girlfriend behind my back?! Are you nut ?! “Max yelled and Juliet flinched back a little.
She had never seen Max yell , he was always gentle and polite this was her first time seeing him mad.
“I didn’t do anything bad I just had a word with her that all ” She said and he glared at her.
He took out his phone and started dialing Pearl’s number , it kept ringing but she never picked up.
He tried her number the second time and it said she switched off her phone.
“You slut!!! ” He yelled and Juliet moved backwards fearing that Max would harm her.
Max looked at her with nothing but pure hatred in his eyes , he looked around and noticed there were a lot of people watching them.
“Consider yourself lucky that there are people watching us ” Max spat angrily then waved down at a cab , he got in and the cab zoomed off.
” You are going to be mine whether you like it or not!! ” She shouted and stomped her feet on the floor before getting into her car.

HELL
Sofina was walking back to the room, Hardin was having a meeting with the Chiefs and Sofina decided to walk around to check if she would see Lily but she couldn’t find her anywhere.
She was eating a unripe Apple as she walked around , she didn’t know why she suddenly craved for fruit .
Hardin got her fresh fruit but she said she didn’t like them , saying they all tasted funny , and she wanted unripe fruits instead.
Hardin found it weird but decided to give her what she asked for.
“Who knew unripe Apple taste so sweet ?
” She muttered and threw the seed of the Apple into the nearest trash can.
She pushed the door open and walked inside to her surprise Hardin was sitting on the bed with a plate of pork meat.
“Your meeting ended already ? ” She asked happily and climbed unto the bed , sitting next to Hardin.
“Yeah it was just a brief meeting ” Hardin answered and cut a piece of the meat then used his fork to put it inside his mouth.
Sofina frowned and covered her nose with her hand , she looked really displeased.
“Hardin why are you eating that it smells really Bad ” She said still covering her nose.
“It does ? ” Hardin asked and placed his plate of pork meat close to his nose.
“Sofina it doesn’t smell bad , infact It delicious have a bite ” Hardin said and stretched out a piece of pork meat to her.
Sofina removed her hands from her nose and opened her mouth.
The pork meat was about to enter her mouth when the same unpleasant odour hit her nose again.
She slapped Hardin’s hand away making the fork fell on the floor then she ran into the bathroom , puking into the sink.
“Sofina are you alright ?! ” Hardin asked worriedly as he quickly ran to the bathroom.
His eyes widen when he saw Sofina unconscious on the floor with stains of black blood around her mouth.
His eyes instantly became filled with fear when he saw a lot of black blood in the sink.
“Sofina!!! ” He shouted and carried her in his arms.
” Was she poisoned?!! ” That was the thought in Hardin’s mind as he disappeared to Echo’s room.

PEARL’S APARTMENT~ NIGHT TIME
Owen car pulled over Infront of Pearl’s house , in the middle of the heavy rain.
“Thanks so much for today ” Pearl thanked Owen and he smiled.
“It nothing just remember to take care of yourself ” Owen said.
“I will , you should also take care of yourself, bye ” pearl bid him goodbye and got down from his car.
They waved goodbye at each other before he zoomed off.
Pearl placed her hands on her head as she ran to the door step , she stopped in her tracks when a cab pulled over and Max stepped out.
“Pearl , I was so worried about you ” Max said and pulled her into his arms , hugging her.
Peral broke the hug and pushed him away then she gave him a slap on the face.
“You were worried about me ? ” She asked and scoffed.
“You don’t have to pity me anymore Max , your girlfriend told me everything ” Pearl said.
“What are you talking about ? You are my girlfriend ”
“Shut up you bloody lier!! You were dating your boss all this time I can’t believe you had the nerves to deceive me!! To think I trusted you!!! ” She yelled.
“Peral I don’t know what Juliet told you but it all lies none of it is true ” Max said and she scoffed , dipped her hands into her bum short Pocket and brought out the picture she took from the cafe.
“Then explain this ” She said and gave him the picture , Max hands immediately started to shake when he saw the picture.
“So she was never drunk that day ? She planned it all along , that f**king b**ch! ” Max thought inwardly.
“You don’t even know what to say , I thought I knew you but I guess I was wrong you are just a asshole who toyed with my emotions and feelings!! ” Tears rolled down her face as she spoke.
She turned around to go to the door step but Max grabbed her back.
“I know you are not going to believe me no matter what I say but believe me Peral I love you I really do ” Max said and she hissed.
“I got you this ” Max said and placed the black nylon that had medicine and snacks on her hands.
Pearl opened the nylon and saw all what was in it.
” Oh cause you pity me , Quit pitying me!!! Keep your pity to yourself!!!! ” She yelled and stoned him with the items.
The items poured out of it nylon and spread all over the street.
“Stay away from me ” She said and walked inside.
Max really standing under the rain , looking dejected and extremely sad………..
