The door opened and my eyes widened at the sight of the person in front of me.

“I can make her die in the treasure hunt if not today but the third day but if you can get me a little drop of her blood l will let her live.”

“No! Please let me go, save her please , please don’t allow anything to happen to her, am not Skylar, am not Skylar please.”

“She is gonna return today, before the third day of the treasure hunt get me her blood or you will watch her die.”

“Don’t try to run from me or tell anyone about it, am watching your every move.”

“Where am l exactly, this is the first time am entering the treasure hunt, though l have the ability and know everything about the treasure hunt, l have never had a chance to participate.”

I took Clary out of the pit, she was unconscious.

I think she fainted due to shock.

Those weren’t snakes but illusions, someone did it on purpose.

I placed my hand on her forehead and held my necklace on her neck with the other hand.

“Clary wake up” l muttered and she opened her eyes.

“Lonrenzo! Lonrenzo! you are here! You came to save me, l thought you won’t come.”

“How are you feeling Clarissa.”

“Am fine now.”

“Where are the pythons, you killed them all!”

“Why are you alone Clarissa?”

“No one wants to pair with me.”

“Then you should have called me.”

“How did you get in here Lonrenzo?”

“I have my ways.”

“Let’s go find a treasure.”

“I don’t know anywhere around here, and have been unconscious for almost an hour, am going to fail for sure.”
