Gerardo opened the door and peeped in to see Kingsley feeding Nellie.
“Kingsley, Don’t think you are more romantic then me, am way more romantic” Gerardo said walking into the room and they look up.
“Dad!” Nellie smiled.
“My sweetheart” he smiled and k!ss her cheeks.
“Welcome Mr Gerardo!” Kingsley said.
“Thanks best in-law” Gerardo said and he smiled.
“King do you mind getting me a glass of juice?, I carve badly for it” Nellie said.
“Of course I will be back” he said and walk out of the room.
Gerardo sat down beside Nellie and she hugged him tightly.
“Welcome Dad” she said and he smiled stroking her hair.
“Daddy am no longer a baby” she said
“Of course you are!” He said and she pouted.
“Heard you are sick, what’s wrong with you?” He asked.
“I don’t know” she said.
“You don’t know?, didn’t you go to the hospital?” Gerardo asked.
“I don’t wanna go” she said.
“Are you pregnant?” Gerardo asked and she pouted.
“Don’t go there Dad, am not” she said and he laughed.
“Am just guessing you know” he said and she smiled.
“Big daddy did you get anything for me?” Melinda asked.
“Yeah, it’s With Miguel, go check it out” Gerardo said and she jump down from his body.
“I love you daddy ” she grinned and run out of the room.
“Such a cutie” Gerardo said and chuckled.
“I know right” Nellie said.
“Nell!” Gerardo called and she looked at him.
“Yes dad” she answered.
“Did you tell Kingsley anything?” He asked.
“I don’t know how to tell him Dad, I don’t wanna hurt him” Nellie said.
“But you will still tell him about it, you know that” Gerardo said.
“Yeah am planning to do that soon” she said.
“You should do that, before someone else does that for you” Gerardo said.
“I will try” she said and the door opened and Kingsley walk in with the juice.
“Don’t try giving it to me am not drinking” Gerardo said.
“It’s for my wife not you” Kingsley said and he laughed before walking out of the room.
“Let’s go see my grandma some other time” Nellie said.
“Of course I will like to do that” Kingsley said and start feeding her again.
