Nellie’s phone rang on the table and she took it, it’s an unknown number but yet she answered.
“Yeah, Nellie Gerardo on the line, who am I speaking with?” She asked.
“Miss Nellie!” She heard the familiar voice and stopped moving.
“Mmmm doctor Emmett?” She asked.
“Yeah it’s me” he said.
“Oh doctor, why the sudden call?, is everything okay over there?” She asked.
“No not really okay ” he said.
“What happened?” Nellie asked.
“Your husband got me fired from the hospital” he said and Nellie’s ear felt like they aren’t working at that moment.
“Excuse me can you go again?” She asked.
“I said your husband told the board of directors to get me fired and they did” he said.
“And why should they do that, without letting me know?” Nellie asked.
“That’s because he told them he is your husband and they got no other option than to do as he says” Emmett said.
“Gosh!” Nellie muttered and sighed.
“Don’t worry Emmett I will handle this, I am going to make sure, you gets your job back” she said.
“Thank you for that and am sorry for disturbing you” he said and she nodded.
“It’s nothing okay!” Nellie said and hung up.
“Kingsley!, what is wrong with you?” She asked and drop her pen, she stood and carried her bag before walking out of the office.

Nellie’s car stopped in the garage and she came down from it, she walk straight into the house and saw Kingsley in the sitting room watching a movie.
“Kingsley!” She called and he look up.
“Hey!” He answered.
“What happened to you and Emmett?, why did you got him fired?” She asked.
“Oh that guy?, he got what he deserve for messing with me” Nellie said.
“What he deserves?, are you okay?” Nellie asked.
“Listen here, that guy is fired and that’s final” Kingsley said.
“And you don’t make the rules here, I do!, that hospital belongs to my dad and he handed it over to me so it’s mine and I say what they do there not you Kingsley!” Nellie yelled.
“And why are you yelling?” He said.
“Am yelling because am pissed off, how can you do that without telling me huh?” She asked.
“And that doesn’t give you the right to yell at me, am not your puppet” he said getting angry right there.
“Like I care?, I don’t care about how you feel!” She yelled and got her phone.
“Am calling the board of directors, they are taking him back!” Nellie said and Kingsley stood.
“You can’t do that!” He said.
“You don’t tell me what to do?” She said and dialed the number of the head doctor
“You wouldn’t like the outcome of whatever will happen next cause you don’t know what happened between….
“I don’t care about anything, get away” Nellie said and the doctor picked up the call.
“Greetings Mrs Nellie” he said.
“I called you because I want you to….” She haven’t finished talking when Kingsley snatch her phone from her and before she will blink, he threw it down to the floor and it crashed.
“Aaarrrggghhh!!” She screamed as the phone broke before her.
“Very good!” Jewel smiled from where she is watching her, just what she had been expecting.
“How dare you Kingsley?!!, how dare you!!!!?” Nellie yelled and raise her hand to slap him.
“Try that and it will be over for us!” He said but she cared less cause she took down her hand and brought it down to his face slapping him soundly, not once but twice.
“Go to h–ll!” She spat and he smiled as his face turned all red.
“Better!, it’s over!!” He said and walk upstairs.
