“Stop it!” Emory hit her hand, but she touched her ass too.

“Sybil!” Emory gasped.

“I’m sure your hips became wider. You know that’s my favorite part of you, sèxy cousin” she replied goofily.

“Come off it already, how was it in San Francisco?” Emory replied as they both settled in bed.

“Not so bad, I didn’t date. Did you date? Are there hot guys in your college? Are there parties?” Sybil asked again.

“In fact, there’s one tonight” Emory winked.

“Yes!!!” Sybil screamed.

8PM, RAVE*

Rebekah threw both hands up when she came out of her white Lambo truck, looking so excited and impatient to rock the party.

Fireworks were already cracking in the sky above the rave, and the grooving smell of nicotine, alcohol and sweat filled the air.

The music was already playing loudly from the DJ’s table, and Coldplay is currently on the beat.

Lizzy is still recovering from what happened in school earlier, so she won’t be coming, and Nina’s foster parents didn’t give her space to come too, so she’ll be alone till Emory’s arrival.

She scanned her QR code by the door before going in, and she got drowned in the night immediately.

The energy of the students is insane, and she could feel the heat as she grabbed a cup of champagne from a server.

“Hey, baby sis” Conrad’s voice interrupted her when she made to drink.

“Stop calling me that” she replied, finally drinking.

“Tomorrow morning during breakfast, we’ll announce our relationship to our damn parents” he said, making her choke on her drink.

She began coughing, holding her chest.

“Don’t die on me” he said.

“Are you crazy? Relationship?” She looked up with big eyes.

“Look we don’t like each other, and I’m never gonna date you even if you beg me, so just cooperate. It’s the only way to stop this if you really want to. Let’s fake-date” he ruffled her hair again.

“Hey!” Rain and Isaac joined them, and Conrad left.

“Hey” Rebekah smiled.

“I’ll get you a drink” Isaac said.

“Sure” Rain replied, and Isaac left them.

“What were you talking about with Conrad? It’s the first time I saw you both talking” Rain asked Rebekah.

“Nothing much” Rebekah replied.

“And where are the girls?” Rain asked again.

“Nina and Lizzy won’t be coming. Emz will soon be here” Rebekah replied.

“Cool, and am I the only one who noticed North absence since yesterday?” Rain said.

“Now that you said it…” Rebekah replied, coming to realization.

Before she could sink deeper into it, Emory appeared with Sybil.

“Aww! She’s beautiful!” Rebekah gushed.

“My name is Sybil, Emory’s cousin” Sybil said cheerfully.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Rain ” Rain replied.

“I’m Rebekah, you’ll meet Nina and Lizzy soon” Rebekah added.

“Sorry I couldn’t pick your calls in the morning, I was busy. I’m sure you got my text” Rain said.

“Yeah, it’s fine now that I confirmed it” Emory nodded.

“Damn! Who’s that? I think I just fell in love at first sight!” Sybil gasped, looking at a direction.

They traced her gaze to see Levi, standing alone at the far end, but his eyes are on their angle.

Emory bit her mouth wall.

Since she left the Loft cos of rain since morning, they haven’t really talked.

It’s as if he’s mad at her or something.

“I think he’s looking at me! He’s looking here!” Sybil shouted again.

“Delulu” Rebekah shook her head, and Rain chuckled awkwardly.

“He’s so fuçking hot, I want him now” Sybil said.

“He’s not someone you can have” Rebekah replied.

“Bullshit, he’s looking at me!” Sybil insisted.

“Come here, dance away your delusions” Rebekah pulled her to the dance floor, leaving Emory with Rain.
