THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 101 – 110
Ryder watched Kaiden with a mixture of confusion and amusement as they walked to the training ground. Kaiden couldn’t stop grinning, and Ryder couldn’t help but wonder what was behind that goofy smile.
“What’s wrong with you?” Ryder asked, raising an eyebrow.
Kaiden’s grin only grew wider. “Nothing, I just feel lucky,” he said.
Ryder scoffed, shaking his head. “Wow, you’re really something else.”
Kaiden’s expression turned serious, and he looked at Ryder with concern. “What’s wrong with you, though? You look really dull these days. Is it because of Aka’s death? I know you liked her.” He said.
Ryder’s expression turned somber, and he looked away, trying to hide his emotions. “It’s nothing,” he muttered.
But Kaiden wasn’t having it. “No, really, what’s wrong?” he pressed.
“I just keep wondering…what you think of Maledicta,” Ryder said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Kaiden’s face lit up with a bright smile. “She’s my lucky charm, my happiness, the love of my life,” he said, his eyes shining with adoration.
Ryder rolled his eyes, “I guess I’m asking the wrong person that question,” he said with a scoffed and started leaving.
“Wait for me” Kaiden said while running after him.
As they approached the training ground, they saw all the male students gathered in one place.
What’s going on?” he asked, pushing his way through the crowd.
One of the students turned to him with a wide grin. “Senior Benedicta decided to teach the male students today, isn’t that amazing?” he said.
Kaiden’s eyes widened in surprise, and he looked around, trying to spot Benedicta. A few minutes later, she arrived, looking stunning in her training gear. She flashed them a bright smile, and the boys all grinned foolishly, trying to impress her.
Benedicta brought a challenge that made it difficult for them to complete with their clothes on, so they all took off their shirts. Benedicta walked around them, studying their backs as they took off their shirts. The boys all grinned, trying to show off their bodies to her.
But Benedicta’s eyes were scanning the crowd, searching for someone. And then, she spotted Kaiden at the corner, his clothes still on.
“Why are you still clothed?” she asked.
Kaiden looked around, feeling a little self-conscious.
“I don’t think I should do it, since I have a senior who trains me separately,” he said, trying to sound nonchalant.
Benedicta’s smile never wavered. “Take it off and join the others,” she muttered, her eyes fixed on Kaiden’s back.
Kaiden nodded, looking around nervously. He saw Maledicta but she was busy. He took a deep breath and slowly took off his shirt.
Benedicta’s face lit up with excitement as she saw the mark on Kaiden’s back. She had finally confirmed that he was the one she was looking for. She grinned, taking a step closer to Kaiden.
But just as she was about to reach him, someone grabbed Kaiden’s arm, pulling him away.
“I’m his personal trainer and I need him,” Thane said.
