THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 111 – 120
Benedicta’s laughter was cold. “At least they’re still better than you, Mom.” She said.
With that, Benedicta vanished into thin air, leaving Mistress Morwen standing alone in the room.
Mistress Morwen’s face was etched with sadness and worry.
“I really tried so much for you not to get involved with the demons, but I guess your demon side won’t listen,” she muttered to herself before leaving the room.
As she walked out of the room, she couldn’t shake off the feeling that she had lost her daughter to the darkness.

Mistress Morwen rushed into the physician’s room, her face etched with worry.
“She was lying unconscious in this room just a few minutes ago,” the old physician said, her eyes wide with concern.
“I quickly went to get some herbs in the other room, but by the time I returned, she was gone.” She added.
Mistress Morwen’s eyes scanned the room, as if hoping to find Maledicta hiding in a corner.
“Don’t worry, she must have gone to her room,” she said, trying to sound calm. She quickly left the physician’s room and made her way to Maledicta’s quarters.
When she arrived, she found Kaiden and Belladonna pacing back and forth in front of Maledicta’s door.
“What’s going on?” Mistress Morwen asked, her eyes narrowing with concern.
Kaiden and Belladonna bowed to her before explaining the situation.
“I tried to enter her room, but it was locked,” Belladonna said.
“I even used my powers to try and open it, but it’s still not working.” She added.
Mistress Morwen tried to enter the room, but a strange force pushed her back. She stumbled, but Belladonna and Kaiden quickly caught her, holding her steady.
“Maledicta, it’s your mother,” Mistress Morwen called out, trying to reason with her daughter. “Open the door.”
But there was no response. Kaiden tried calling out to her as well, but the silence was deafening.
“She must want to be alone for now,” Mistress Morwen said, her voice tinged with sadness.
“Maybe we should come back later.” She muttered some minutes later.
“We can’t leave her alone now,” Kaiden said, his eyes filled with worry. “She really needs us.”
Belladonna placed a hand on Kaiden’s shoulder.
“I understand how you feel, but Maledicta can be very stubborn. We have to wait until she calms down.” Belladonna said.
Just then, Arachne appeared, looking curious. “What’s wrong with big sister?” she asked, looking up at Mistress Morwen.
Belladonna’s eyes widened in surprise. “She lets you call her that?”
Arachne nodded proudly. “Yes.”
Mistress Morwen smiled. “Nothing’s wrong, dear. She just wants to be alone for now. We should come back a few hours later.” She said.
Arachne nodded, and the group began to disperse. But Kaiden refused to leave.
“I’ll continue to stay here until she decides to open the door,” he said stubbornly.
