Ryder’s smile grew wider. “When it’s possible when I’m the crown prince of this land.” He muttered.

The group’s eyes widened in shock, “You’re joking, right?” Thane asked.

Ryder shook his head. “I’m not. I’m Ryder Edward, the future king of this land.” He said.

“If that’s true, does that mean Belladonna is your sister?”Lilith said.

All eyes turned to Belladonna, who looked sheepish. “I wanted to tell you all, but…”

Cassius finished for her, “But what? You don’t even act like you’re related. I could never have imagined!” He said.

Belladonna pointed at Ryder. “We do talk privately, I’m sorry for keeping it. You should blame him instead; he’s the one who wouldn’t let people know.” She said.

Ryder looked embarrassed. “I’m sorry, guys. I just don’t like attention.” He said gently.

“Wow, I can’t believe I was looking down on you. Should we start calling you ‘Your Highness’?” Cassius tease.

Ryder’s face turned bright red.

“Don’t you dare! This is part of the reason I didn’t want to tell you.” He said.

“Did you guys realize we’re somehow related now?”Arachne laughed.

“Yeah, we’re the future in-laws!”Belladonna grinned.

The group erupted into laughter, with Ryder shaking his head, “You guys are something else.” He said.

Maledicta gasped in wonder as she took in the breathtaking view before her. Lucan had brought her to a secluded part of the garden that none of them had ever seen before. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the soft chirping of birds could be heard in the distance.

She stared at the crystal-clear water of the lake, mesmerized by the way the sunlight danced across its surface. The surrounding trees were adorned with vibrant flowers, creating a picturesque scene that seemed almost surreal.

“I dreamed about a certain girl last night,” Lucan said, his voice low and husky.

“We planned to have the most beautiful place ever, a private place for us. And I know that girl is you.” He added gently.

Maledicta’s eyes met Lucan’s, and she felt a flutter in her chest.

“How are you so sure it’s me?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Lucan’s eyes seemed to bore into her soul. “Because I saw her face. I think we have some sort of special connection.” He said.

“I am glad you are finally having my memory,” she said, a smile spreading across her face. “I thought you wouldn’t remember me forever.”

Lucan’s eyes narrowed slightly. “How was I then? When we were together?” He asked.

Maledicta’s smile grew wider. “You were the best man I have ever met, my pill.” She said.

“What about this place?” he asked.

Maledicta’s gaze swept across the beautiful scenery before her.

“It’s so beautiful. I feel like staying forever.” She said.

Lucan’s eyes locked onto hers, and he smashed his lips onto hers in a deep, passionate kiss. Maledicta felt her heart soar as she wrapped her arms around him, deepening the kiss.
