THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 21 – 30

Finally, they stopped in front of a door.

“This is your room,” Benedicta said, her smile warm.

Aka’s eyes lit up as she pushed open the door. “Thank you so much,” she said.

“You’re welcome. Tell me if you need anything, and you can also ask me any questions. You are Aka right” Benedicta asked.

Aka nodded, her eyes locked on Benedicta’s.

“Your smile looks fake,” Aka said suddenly with a frown.

Benedicta’s smile slowly disappeared, and she looked at Aka with a mixture of surprise and wariness.

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“I’m just joking.”Aka laughed.

Benedicta’s expression relaxed, and she smiled again. “Oh, I should go.”

As Benedicta walked away, Aka watched her with a calculating gaze.

“She may be useful,” she muttered to herself.

She stepped into her room, her eyes scanning the space with a critical gaze. The room was small but cozy, with a single bed and a desk in the corner.

Aka smiled to herself, “Now let the fun begin,” she said. She closed her eyes, her lips moving as she whispered a series of words. The air around her seemed to shimmer and distort, and then a group of demons appeared before her.

They were twisted and deformed, their bodies a mass of writhing, pulsing flesh. One of them had eyes that glowed like embers, while another had a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth.

Aka’s smile grew wider as she gazed at the demons.

“Now, spread out in the school and destroy their lives,” she said, her voice dripping with malice.

The demons bowed, their twisted bodies contorting in ways that seemed impossible. And then they vanished, disappearing into the shadows like ghosts.

Aka laughed, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

“Now, I have to get close to that witch,” she said.

She lay down on her bed, a smile still playing on her lips. She knew that it wouldn’t be easy, but she was determined to get what she wanted.

And what she wanted was chaos.

Kaiden opened the door and he was surprised to see Benedicta standing at the door, a bright smile on her face.

“Hey,” Kaiden said, returning her smile.

“Are you ready for the outing?” Benedicta asked.

Kaiden nodded, “Sure.”

Benedicta’s smile grew wider. “I should take you to the lake today. Everyone love it” Benedicta said and he nodded.

As they walked side by side through the forest, Benedicta couldn’t help but notice how handsome Kaiden looked. His hair was tied back in a ponytail, and his eyes sparkled with a warm, golden light.

They walked in silence for a while, the only sound being the rustling of leaves beneath their feet. Finally, they emerged from the forest and caught sight of the lake.

Kaiden’s eyes widened in amazement. The lake was stunning, its waters sparkling clean and warm. A small beach lined the shore, and a few students were lounging in the sun, soaking up its warm rays.

Benedicta smiled, noticing Kaiden’s reaction. “I told you it was beautiful.”

Kaiden nodded, feeling a sense of wonder. “It’s amazing.”

They sat down beside the lake, sticking their legs into the warm water. Kaiden closed his eyes, feeling the sun’s warm rays on his face.

After a few moments of silence, Benedicta spoke up. “I saw you yesterday.”

Kaiden’s eyes snapped open, and he turned to face her. “What do you mean?”

Benedicta’s expression turned serious. “I saw you run into the rain to save Maledicta. That was so brave.”

Kaiden’s face fell, and he looked away, feeling a sense of embarrassment. “I just couldn’t bear to watch her suffer,” he muttered.

“How did you feel when Cassius took her away?” Benedicta asked curiously.

“I was just sad a little that he didn’t trust me, and mad that he couldn’t come forward to save her. But that wasn’t his fault.” Kaiden said.

Benedicta nodded, “He’s just jealous because he likes her.” She said.
