Thane’s eyes widened in shock, and for a moment, he seemed speechless. Then, his face darkened.
“I don’t have any idea what you’re saying. Just wait and see, I will soon find my mate, and we’ll get married, while you’ll continue to be a girl who creates men out of her imagination. Nothing more, nothing less.” He snapped and with that, he turned and walked away, leaving Lilith seething with anger.
“I just hate his guts so much,” Lilith muttered, her fists clenched as she glared at Thane’s back.
The seniors, who had been watching the exchange, shook their heads. They knew that Lilith and Thane had a long history of clashing, and it seemed that their animosity towards each other was only growing stronger.

Kaiden was about to knock on Maledicta’s door when it suddenly swung open, and she pushed him inside.
“I’ve been expecting you all day,” she muttered, her eyes fixed on his as she walked over to her bed and sat down.
Kaiden’s eyes narrowed slightly as he closed the door behind him. “Really? Because I’m not sure that’s true. You’ve totally forgotten about me since you’ve got friends now. We haven’t even spoken for a day.” He said.
Maledicta’s expression didn’t change, but her voice was laced with a hint of defensiveness. “You’re having fun with Benedicta too. I didn’t want to spoil your fun.” She said.
Kaiden’s frown deepened. “Who told you I was having fun? I couldn’t stop thinking about you all day.” He said.
“Really?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kaiden nodded, his eyes locked on hers. “Yes, and this morning, you looked so beautiful. I felt like…” He stopped talking, his eyes fixed on hers as if mesmerized.
Maledicta’s eyes seemed to bore into his soul, as if daring him to continue.
“Feel like what? Say it,” she muttered.
Kaiden’s heart was racing, but he couldn’t seem to tear his eyes away from hers.
“I feel like kissing your lips,” he said huskily.
For a moment, it seemed like time had stopped, and all that existed was the two of them.
Then, in a voice that was barely audible, Maledicta said, “Then do it.”
Kaiden didn’t waste any time. He slammed his lips down on hers, his kiss deep and passionate. Maledicta’s lips parted, and she kissed him back, her arms wrapping around his neck as she pulled him closer.
The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the depths of their passion.

As they kissed, the intensity of their passion grew, and they both fell onto the bed, their bodies entwined. Kaiden was lost in the moment, his senses overwhelmed by the sensation of Maledicta’s lips on his.
He could tell that this was her first time, and a sense of satisfaction washed over him. He felt a sense of pride, knowing that he was the one who got to experience this moment with her.
As they lay there, their kiss slowly came to an end, and they both rolled off each other, lying side by side on the bed. They were both silent for a while, each lost in their own thoughts.
Just as he was starting to drift off into his own thoughts, a loud thunder strike shook the air, making Maledicta jump. Kaiden looked over at her and saw the fear in her eyes.
He knew that she was afraid of thunderstorms, He reached out and took her hand, trying to offer her some comfort.
As the storm raged on outside, the rain started to pour down, drumming against the roof and walls of the room. The thunder boomed and crackled, making it hard to hear anything else.
