THE MISTRESS’ DAUGHTER : CHAPTER 91 – 100
Belladonna heard a knock at her door and made her way to answer it. She opened the door to find Cassius standing there, a bright smile on his face and a flower in his hand. Her heart skipped a beat as she took in the sight of him, but she quickly composed herself and tried to close the door.
However, Cassius was too quick. He caught the door and pushed his way into the room, his eyes locked on Belladonna’s.
“Why are you here?” she asked, trying to sound stern despite the flutter in her chest.
Cassius didn’t seem to notice her unease. He walked into the room, his eyes never leaving hers, and dropped to one knee in front of her. He held out the flower, his hand trembling slightly as he did so.
Belladonna gasped, her eyes widening in surprise. She hadn’t expected Cassius to be so romantic. For a moment, she forgot to be angry with him, forgot to be wary of his intentions.
“Miss Belladonna,” Cassius said, his voice low and sincere.
“I am so sorry for behaving like a jerk. I want you to know that I am a changed person now. I just want you to give me a chance to be your friend, to prove to you that I’m worthy of your trust and to be with you” He added.
As he spoke, Belladonna could see the sincerity in his eyes, could sense the s emanating from him. She was taken aback by his words.
“I will think about it,” she said finally, trying to sound nonchalant despite the turmoil in her chest.
Cassius’s face lit up with a bright smile. “Thank you,” he said, his voice filled with gratitude. He stood up and hugged her tightly, his arms wrapping around her like a vice.
Belladonna was taken aback by the hug, but she didn’t push him away. Instead, she found herself hugging him back, her arms wrapping around him as she breathed in the scent of his cologne.
“I didn’t give you permission to do that yet,” she said, trying to sound stern.
Cassius chuckled, his chest vibrating against hers. “That was Cass,” he lied.
Belladonna smiled, her heart skipping a beat at the sight of his smile. She hugged him back, her arms tightening around him as she felt a sense of happiness wash over her.
She was feeling happy, but she wasn’t going to let Cassius know that. She was going to make him work for her, make him prove himself worthy of her.
“You won’t regret giving me another chance, mate,” Cassius said, his voice filled with confidence.
“I haven’t given you another chance,” she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Cassius chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “I know you will,” he said, his voice filled with certainty. He hugged her more tightly, his arms wrapping around her like a vice.
But as the moment passed, Belladonna’s caution returned. She pushed Cassius away, her eyes narrowing as she looked at him.
“Don’t get too ahead of yourself, Cassius,” she said. But Cassius keep smiling.
“Hey buddy” Cass said in his head, the moment he was out her room, he look so happy because he is finally talking to him again.

Benedicta made herself invisible before entering the coven, her eyes scanning the area to make sure no one was watching.
As she approached the throne room, she could feel the air grow thick with anticipation. She took a deep breath, steadying herself before making herself visible.
The moment she appeared in front of Queen Epusa, the queen sprang up from her throne, her eyes blazing with anger.
“What are you doing here?” she demanded, her voice dripping with venom.
Benedicta smiled,”To see you, and probably have a deal,” she muttered fearlessly.
Queen Epusa’s face twisted with rage. “How dare you,” she spat, her hand rising to summon the guards. “Take her away.”
But Benedicta was prepared for this. She suddenly threw the bag she was holding to the queen, who caught it instinctively.
“I think you should check this out before making that decision,” Benedicta said.
