“Stanley, what are you saying, you are not Brandon” Noah denied.
“I know it’s probably hard to believe, I have been yearning to see the shock on your face when you realize it and now seeing this look is pretty funny “ he chuckled lightly.
“But why? Why have you been doing this?” Noah asked sadly, he was almost in tears because it hurt his heart to think it was his best friend that has been troubling his life for a while now.
“What else, I told you I am Brandon Dennis, who do you think my father is?” Brandon asked with a chuckle.
“Are you……
“Yes I am, I am your older brother” Brandon smiles at Nicholas.
“What do you mean by troubleshooting you?” Adelaide asked in confusion.
“I have received a lot of threats from him, he always tells me he will kill my family and all but because he always laughs about everything, I thought he wasn’t serious but I didn’t even know that it was my friend” Noah said in tears.
“I am giving you a chance, if you know you are not an Everests, get out of here and keep your mouth shut for life because the moment you open it, you are dead” Brandon announced. They all exchange glances but none of them make an attempt to leave.
“Wow I really love your loyalty, so you people are dying then, tie down up” Brandon said.
The dining chairs were brought and each was tied on it so that they wouldn’t escape.
“But why are you really doing this, is it because of your parents?” Noah asked sadly.
“No no, I was being after you before my parents saga started, let just say my parents’ case made it worse” Brandon said.
“But why?” Noah asked.
“Are you pretending or you don’t really know what you did?” Brandon asked.
“I don’t know,” Noah shook his head.
“Are you saying you don’t know me from college, Brand the nerd, do you remember me now?” Brandon asked.
“So you don’t really know me, I thought you were pretending to be my friend due to guilt,” he said.
“What guilt, I don’t know what you are talking about,” Noah said.
“My mum left my dad when I was in a very tender age, I can still remember all sort of illegal work that my does, he will steal money and food so that we can survive, with all this thing, I have only one aim in my life and that is to survive and make it in life, I don’t want to continue to suffer, so I focus more on my education, dad was so angry with me because I wouldn’t help him in picking pocket, I will rather stay stuck to my book.
“I did well in my middle school and got scholarship into the college and that’s when I meet you, you have the perfect life everyone want to be your friend, you are rude and arrogant, for once, I don’t want to be your friend because I thought you are part of the people that take my mother away from me and let me suffer. Dad was being pursued around by a loan shark and I didn’t even know what to do. I was so confused and that’s when I met her.
“She is also a scholarship student, she is gentle , intelligent and didn’t look down on me, we go almost everywhere together and do things together, I was called Brad the nerd in my department because I love studying and all but that didn’t stop me from studying because I know what I want and I must get it especially now that I have a girl I really want to give a nice life.
“I didn’t regret meeting her at the library then, our love was going great, everyone knows us together, we were nickname the Nerd’s couple, but we didn’t care because we like our relationship, we date from our first years till our final years which is almost four years. As we are nearing our final exam, we were all invited to a party hosted by you, you have a mansion beside the school then I am sure you remember, you are quite a rebellious kids, I can remember a lot of times that your father visited the college all because of you” Brandon said.
Noah kept quiet at this revelation, truly there was a guy called Brad the nerd then, but he looked totally different from the person here, like his big glasses are gone and his pimples too, he looks cute now.
“She doesn’t want to attend the party but I force her” Brandon continued.
“She said she doesn’t feel like going but I said a lot of word to convince her and she finally go with me to your party and that’s when the problem started, you came to my present and kiss her for two good minutes claiming it was a dare from your friends, you didn’t even think anything is wrong with what you did, kissing a girl in front of her boyfriend, I know you are a playboy then, everyone knows but I don’t know you will near my girlfriend.
“Do you know that after the kiss, she totally changed to me? She started stalking you around and forgot about me. I keep trying to make her see reasons why you are not the right man but she wouldn’t listen to me, instead she continues to follow you around.
“I feel my world collapsing right in my own eyes and I can’t even do anything about it, she came back to me after you ignore her in school and things are going great again until a night to our graduation, I called her line but it was switch off, I didn’t see her until the next morning, the way she dress shock the hell out of me but I didn’t say anything, not until she confess herself that you slept with her.
“You slept with her Noah” Brandon yelled as tears slipped out of his eyes.
“I am sorry, please forgive me, I remember everything that you are saying, they are all true, that night, she show up at my party at the mansion, I told her to go because she has a boyfriend but she refused, she said she will leave my life if I slept with her just once, I am sorry I did, I don’t have choice, I feel bad after doing that but I just want her to stop following me, I know how you feel as her boyfriend, please forgive me” Noah cried, his clothes is full of tears already.
Brandon was crying too, while they just watched them, little Emily was watching everything in confusion, she wasn’t tied down like others.
“Please can you forgive me for sleeping with your boyfriend?” Noah asked gently. No one says anything, they just listen to their friend’s revelation.
“I can’t, never ever forgive you, do you want to know why?” Brandon asked after cleaning his tears.
“I really want to know,” Noah nodded.
“I can’t forgive because she was pregnant fear week later, her parents try to reach you but no way , you move out of your mansion and go to the family villa, her mother visit the villa but was send back by my mother who didn’t even listen to her reason because of the way she looks like, I have to take care of the woman that I love, I do all sort of jobs in other to provide for her and when it was time to give birth, she died after giving birth to little Emily” Brandon said while pointing at Emily. Everyone’s eyes widened in shock.
“Yeah, my girlfriend is Emily mother, her mother have to bring the baby to the gate with a note and she was found by a maid(Stacy’s mom),I hear a DNA test was carry out and it was confirm that she is really your daughter, you started taking care of her and I hear the rumors that you changed your ways because of the child” Brandon said.
“She is dead?” Noah asked in shock.
“Of course she is, what type of mother abandoned their infant if not that the mother is no more, so now you see the reason I will never forgive” Brandon said and brought out his gun, he pointed it at Noah’s head.
Noah closed his eyes expecting the shot.
“It wouldn’t be fun, I want you to feel the same pain I feel, realizing the love of my life will no longer be here with me, I have to start learning from my father because I want you to pay for your sin, and look now, I approach you five years ago and you didn’t suspect anything because of my good look and riches, I become your friend and I have been planning your download, I first bring Jasmine into your life, but she wasn’t doing anything, I try to destroy your reputation at the club that night, I have everything plan, but everything work out all thanks to your father, I am the one with Jasmine the day you caught with a man, she is my girl and I am the one that kill her some days ago, so now you are next, I will kill the important people in your life and let you savor the moment, then I will kill you” Brandon said and pointed gun at Adelaide forehead.
“Please Stanley, you can’t do this” Noah pleaded.
“It’s Brandon not Stanley, I won’t kill Emily though so you don’t have to worry, cause technically she belongs to me, I will spare one of your sisters too, I mean the blonde one(Autumn) I started to find her cute this few days so I will make her mine” Brandon said and caress Autumn cheeks.
“Get your hand off her, you bastard “ Fransisco yelled at him, he rolled his eyes before pointing the gun back at Adelaide.
“Brother, how about you spare me and my sister, we can get all the Everest’s family properties, we will become so rich and travel to the country of our choice” Nicholas suddenly said with a smile.
“Don’t involve me, I will never betray my family” Brielle yelled.
“About only me, you just need an Everests” Nicholas said.
“You are so smart brother, release him now” Brandon commanded and they quickly untied Nicholas, he stood up gently and smiled at his brother.
“You are worse, I can’t believe I trusted you” Autumn yelled at him.
“Don’t be mad pretty, if you are born from Theresa or Dennis, you will surely be a betrayal” Brandon said and cleaned her tears.
“Don’t touch me,” Autumn yelled angrily.
“Calm down Tigress, I won’t like it if you raise your voice at me in the future” Brandon smiles. Francisco almost burst , he just wishes he can lose the rope so that he can kill Brandon.
“I have to visit the restroom” Nicholas suddenly said and started going.
“Stopped right there, are you trying to outsmart me?” Brandon asked while pointing the gun at him.
“No, I really need to urinate,” Nicholas said.
“Very well then, not like there is any phone available” Brandon said and Nicholas left.
Brandon pointed the gun back at Adelaide who had her eyes closed.
“Stanley, I know I have offended you, but I am right here, why don’t you leave the innocent people and focus on me, go on and kill me, you will feel very satisfied, leave these people out of it” Noah said.
“What are you saying? I don’t want you to die” Adelaide said.
“Ignore her and kill me, your mind will be at peace but please, spare my family” Noah said.
Brandon pointed the gun to Noah and shot him in his belly, everybody gasping in total shock. He was about to shoot him again when a gun was pointed at his head from the back.
“If you dare shoot the gun again, I will burst your brain,” Nicholas said. All the men have already pointed their guns at Nicholas.
“Please don’t kill him brother” Noah managed to say as blood dripped out of his mouth.
“Stop talking please” Delaney pleaded, Adelaide was already in tears even Stacy too, she has thought Nicholas has abandoned her and the baby.
Their security guards suddenly rush into the mansion and Brandon men are done within a minute.
“Don’t kill him please” Noah said again as the guards pointed their gun toward Brandon. Brandon gun dropped and he fell to his knee and started crying loudly.
Noah lost consciousness and everyone started crying, the guards quickly lose the rope that was use to tie him, he was bleeding a lot. The cops finally arrived, Brandon was handcuffed and was taken into their fans, including the men’s bodies.
