UNEXPECTED KNOT : CHAPTER 41 – 50

“What did you mean?” She asked.
“You know, I promise to get your dad company back but I am not doing it anymore” Noah said.
“But you promised me, that was the reason I married you in the first place” she said.
“I know that already, you married me because of my wealth and not because of who I am,” Noah said.
“What are you talking about?” She asked in shock.
“You think I don’t know your plan all alone, you approach me on purpose and have s*x with me” he said and she gasped.
“How could you say that?” she said sadly.
“Cause I am sure of it, why are you in my hotel room in the first place, I am drunk and drugged but you are sober and something happens between us, and you didn’t even try to stop me,” he said.
“Who says I was sober, I was drunk, I have few glasses because I just experienced a heartbreak, I know I wasn’t thinking straight by allowing a total stranger to sleep with me but that doesn’t mean I did on purpose” she snapped. She was getting angry.
“Do you think I will believe that?” He asked again.
“I don’t care but just know you are the first man to ever touch me, I never allow my boyfriend to do more than kissing “ she said seriously.
“I know you will really want to defend yourself, but lying to that extent is a no,” Noah said and Adelaide slapped him loudly, he was even surprised as he grabbed his cheeks.
“I will never allow you to disrespect me that way,” she said.
“So if you are really telling the truth like you are insisting, then why are you kissing my stepbrother, Nicholas at the mall this evening?” He asked.
“What are you talking about?” She asked in confusion.
“Now you are trying to act like you don’t know, you two are in a boss kissing each other I saw you two clearly” he said again. She didn’t say anything as she thought about what he said, it must be the time Nicholas was helping her do her seatbelt.
“Now you can’t even say anything which proves I am not lying, so what are you saying about being a virgin again?” He asked.
“We didn’t kiss,” she said gently as tears escaped her eyes.
“Then what are you guys doing?” He asked with a smirk.
“We were……” Adelaide kept quiet, she can’t even bring herself to tell him he was just helping with her seatbelt.
“I am still waiting,” Noah said.
“I don’t have anything but just know we were not kissing, I don’t care if you didn’t believe me but that is the truth” she said and looked down sadly.
“Well I didn’t believe you, and for the record, you disgust me” he spat before walking out of the room. Adelaide sat down on the chairs as tears escaped her eyes.
The door opened gently and she quickly cleaned her tears when she saw Emily.
“Are you fighting with Daddy?” Emily asked.
“No no no, we were just talking” she said and smiled, a fake one.
“You can’t lie to me, I hear you people’s voices so I know you guys are fighting” she said and cleaned Adelaide tears.
“It’s okay, we won’t fight again,” Adelaide said.
“I will really like that, I am old enough to understand that a couple is not supposed to be fighting when their marriage is not even up to two weeks yet” Emily said cutely.
“We will walk on that, I don’t want you to be sad” Adelaide said.
“I just want you to know my dad isn’t like that, he is the nicest person in the world so he will come around, I just want you to be patient” Emily said.
“I know that too and do you know patient is my second name?” Adelaide jokes and they both laugh.
“So can you tell me the story of the ugly duckling who turns into a beautiful swan?” Emily asked.
“Yeah I will” Adelaide said and started telling the story, soon they both fell asleep.

THE NEXT MORNING
Adelaide was just dropping the last food on the table when Autumn came into the place.
“Morning sister” she said excitedly and hugged Adelaide.
“Morning,” Adelaide said with a smile.
“You look excited today, what is going on?” Autumn asked.
“I prepared a special meal today, it was my recipe” Adelaide smiled.
“Really? I can’t wait to taste it” Autumn said and they both sat down, the others started coming too and everyone settled down till the last person came. They brought out their cutlery and started eating.
“What the hell is this?” Mrs Everest asked the moment she opened her food.
“That is a special fried rice, I created with my recipe, I am sure you are all going to like it” Adelaide smiled.
“And who gave you the right to do that, you are overstepping your boundaries in this mansion and I won’t accept that at all, we have the time table of the food we cook everyday, why didn’t you just follow that and decide to prepare your own food?” Mrs Everest asked angrily.
“I just want you people to have a change, I was so excited cooking my recipe and I am sure you guys will like it” she said gently.
“How are we supposed to trust your food, we eat healthy food here” Mrs Everest said.
“My recipes are healthy,there are veggies in there,” Adelaide said.
“Shut up,” Mrs Everest said.
“Why am I having this hint that you don’t like my sister, you are driving me crazy, old woman” Francisco suddenly said.
“Francisco, please calm down,” Adelaide begged.
“She is doing too much and I don’t like it when people bully you” he said angrily.
“Francisco please” she begged again and Francisco finally sat down.
“The food is so delicious, sister-in-law you are the best,” Autumn said and took the picture.
“I was about to say that too” Nicholas said and wink at Adelaide which Noah saw. He scoffed but didn’t say anything.
“So you guys are just gonna ignores the fact that the boy just tell at me?” Mrs Everest asked but everyone just ignored her and continued eating. She smiled slowly while glaring dagger at Adelaide and Francisco.
“So I want to see you and your wife in my office later, I have something to tell you” Mr Everest said to Noah and he nodded though he was confused.
“Can my friend come over today?” Francisco suddenly asked.
“You are not per…….”
“He can come” Mr Everest cut Mrs Everest off.
“Thanks buddy in law,” Francisco said.

You don’t know how much I have been dreaming of entering the villa, thanks pal” Dalton said while looking around.
“You are welcome, so Autumn is in the pool, are you ready to swim?” Francisco asked.
“I am born ready,” Dalton said as they headed toward the pool.
“Delaney come and join me, I am so bored swimming alone “ Autumn said but Delaney ignores her and continues pressing her phone.
“You are not fun” Autumn scoffed and swam around. Francisco arrived with Dalton.
“Hey Autumn, can I join you?” Dalton asked.
“Yeah I am so bored” she said and he took off his clothes leaving him in only his boxers before jumping into the pool. They both swam around the pool.
Delaney suddenly looked up and saw Francisco sitting beside her.
“If you are beside me, then who is inside the pool with her?” She asked in surprise.
“Wow you just talk to me” Francisco said.
“Answer my damn question” she snapped.
“Easy, it is Dalton, he came to have fun with us” Francisco said. Delaney stood up and checked and truly Dalton and Autumn were talking to each other at one corner of the pool. She suddenly stood up and started stripping herself. Fransisco’s mouth was wide open as he watched everything in surprise. She stripped till it was remaining her bra and G-string panties.
“So how do I look?” She asked.
“You look so hot,” Francisco said.
“Good then” she smirked and started walking towards the pool.
“Hi Dalton” she called in a seductive voice before going into the pool, she walked to their middle and separated Autumn from him. Francisco was watching everything going on. She started trying to start a conversation with Dalton but he seemed not interested because he was busy watching Autumn who was swimming in the pool. Francisco finally joins Autumn and they start swimming together.
Delaney touched Dalton’s shoulder and started tracing her finger on it, he swam away from her when he couldn’t take it anymore. Went to join the others and they started playing with water. She scoffed angrily and came out of the pool.
“What the hell just happened?” Francisco asked.
“Well everyone in school knows she has a crush on me, but I am not interested in her,” Dalton said.
“Really?” Francisco said in surprise.

What the hell are you doing in the bathroom, I have been here for more than thirty minutes” Noah said. He was sitting on the bed while waiting for Adelaide who was in the bathroom.
“Can you leave the room please?” She asked.
“And why is that?” He asked.
“I want to do something private, please,” she pleaded.
“I am not going out, just tell me what you want” Noah said.
“Actually I saw all the towels and the only one was on the bed so I can’t come out naked” she said nervously.
“Why did you leave the towel outside in the first place?” He asked.
“I didn’t know you would enter the room before my bath finished, “ she said.
“Does that mean you enter the bathroom nakedly?” He asked in surprise but she didn’t say anything.
“I will give the towel “ he said and picked it from the bed.
“Please don’t look at me,” she pleaded, which made him scoff. He went towards the bathroom door and pointed the towel inside. She walked closer to the door and was about to collect it but she slipped and yelped, her scream made him open the door and was able to catch her before she hit the ground. Her soft boobs hit his chest and he got curious, his eyes went to it and he started staring at her boobs. They are not that big but cute.
“Please stop looking” she said gently and he coughed nervously before looking away but his eyes went back immediately.
“Stop looking, you pervert,” she yelled at him.
“Be careful next time” he said and dropped the towel on her head before walking out of the bathroom.

“I was thinking you guys are no longer coming “ Mr Everest said immediately he saw them.
“Sorry for coming late” Adelaide apologized and sat down.
“Why did you want to see us?” Noah asked.
“Calm down son, why is her face red, what did you do to her?” Mr Everest asked naughtily.
“I don’t understand what you are saying “ Noah said and looked away.
“You are acting awkward, which only means something happens between you two, I want to know, ” he said.
“Nothing happened, we are here, because you said we should come, “ Noah said.
“About that, so me and Adelaide discussed something yesterday and I got to know much about her,” Mr Everest said. They both look at each other but Adelaide quickly looks down when she pictures the time he was staring at her breast.
“She is very intelligent, she actually helps me out with a business plan,” Mr Everest said.
So why are you telling me all this?” Noah asked.
“Because I have made a decision,” Mr Everest said with a smile.
“Since she is good with business, she is also smart, I realized she will be of help and that’s why I have decided to make her your PA at the company, she will be helping you with everything” Mr Everest dropped the bomb.
“What!!!!?” They both shouted in shock.
