She finally calmed down after thirty minutes, Noah went out and opened the door for her, she came down and they both went to the mansion. Emily was lying on the couch, the poor girl must have been waiting for them.
“What do you want to eat?” He asked her though he was frowning.
“I am okay,” she said gently.
“Dont starve yourself,” he said.
“Okay thanks” she said.
“Not like I care though, I am just doing my duties” he said.
“I know,” she said.
“Go and take your bath, let me take Emily to her room” Noah said and carried Emily before going to her room. Adelaide went to their room and took her bath. He came into the room and met her wearing her nightgown, her back was exposed to him, he started approaching her gently, he was about to touch her when she suddenly gasped, she quickly dragged her clothes up and glared at him but he was just smirking.
“I wanted to help you out” he said and dragged her closer, her head hit his chest and she gasped in shock. His head went to her neck, and she shivered when she felt his breath on her neck, his hand wrapped around her waist, his hand moved up till they got to her back, he buttoned her gown and inhaled her scent a little before releasing her.
“Thank you,”she said with red cheeks.
“You look so cute in this, go and sleep, it’s already late” he said before walking out of the room. Adelaide smiled broadly as the thought of what happened some minutes ago came to her head, she jumped on the bed and rolled around.
“He said I am cute” she said and covered her face, she was so happy till she fell asleep.

“Let’s check on dad, I am sure he hasn’t gone to the dining yet” Emily said after Emily finished braiding her hair. She was looking so cute.
“Okay” Adelaide said and smiled after remembering what transpired between them last night.
“Why are you smiling?” Emily asked with raised eyebrows.
“Nothing” she said as they walked to their room. Noah was buttoning his shirt and Adelaide eyes lingered on his abs.
“Let her help you, my friend told me that’s what couples do,” Emily said while smiling mischievously.
“I can wear my shirt myself,” Noah said.
“Remember your promise” Emily pouted. Noah groans and turns to Adelaide, she understands and goes to meet him, she starts buttoning up the shirt while Noah just stares at her face. She wore his suit jacket for him and picked the tie from the bed, she started knotting the tie for him and then straightened it.
“Cute, I got it on camera, I am sending it to the whole family” Emily said while showing them the picture. It looks so beautiful. They both stare at each other not even noticing her.
“We are running late, others will be waiting already” Emily said and they finally snapped out of it.

“Can you visit the cosmetics department, I need to get a file from the head of the department ” Noah asked Adelaide. They were in the office. The company has a lot of departments like cosmetics, they manufacture creams, lotion, perfume and so on. They have fashion, this is where they design and style clothes before selling it to the boutique. They produce food and beverages too, the companies did almost everything and that’s why they are well known. Getting to the workers office, she met Stanley, he was coming to Noah’s office.
“How are you?” He asked and hugged her.
“I am good,” she smiled broadly.
“So how is Emily?” He whispered to her and she chuckled.
“She is fine” she said and he smiled too before leaving. She smiled and wanted to continue her journey but was shocked to see the workers looking at her weirdly. She slowly went to the head of the department who was judging her with his eyes and collected the needed files then started returning to her floor. Her elevator suddenly stopped and she was dragged into the place. She looks around to see Nancy with five other ladies, they are all glaring at her hatefully.
She looked around the room and it looks like the store room because a lot of things were there and no one was there except them, she sighed before looking at the angry ladies.
“What is going on?” She asked since they are ready to say anything.
“Aren’t you feeling ashamed?” Nancy asked.
“I don’t know what you are talking about?” She said,
“You know, it always annoy me because of the way you always act like a saint, I know what you are up to, I know your goal is to take all the men in this company, shameless w*re” a girl said bitterly.
“We are just meeting for the first time, so I don’t think I understand you “ Adelaide said.
“Stop saying that shit bitch, you were seducing the boss, we all saw that, you are also seducing his friend too and all the men in the company, Stanley Miller belongs to me” a girl said and grabbed Adelaide hair she was really angry.
“Nicholas also brought you to the office, some a week ago, what is your deal?” another girl said. They all have issues with her because they believe she was going to snatch their man.
“This is pure misunderstanding” she finally said but it seems that makes them angry as they move closer to her and start to scatter her.

“Are you just going to keep watching your wife get bullied?” Stanley asked Noah who was watching everything with no expression, they were watching it through the camera.
“That is her punishment for hugging you in front of all my workers” he said with a frown.
“Common, I was the one that hug her”Stanley groaned.
“It’s still the same thing” he said and continued watching them.
“You are unbelievable “ Stanley scoffed before standing up, he walked out of the office immediately. He continues watching her .
“Stay away from Noah, he belongs to me” Nancy said.
“He doesn’t belong to you so you can’t tell me to stay away from him” Adelaide said.
“Oh really?” Nancy asked.
“Yeah, so back off” Adelaide said.
“Then take the consequences” Nancy said before leaving with the ladies. Adelaide came in a few minutes later, this time she has already arranged her hair, Noah was watching her, expecting her to say anything but she didn’t.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“Yeah” she said and rested on the table.

It was lunch time and they were in the cafeteria. Delaney was with them but separated herself like always. She was trying every of her best to get Dalton’s attention but he wasn’t even looking at her, he was either looking at Autumn or Brielle.
“Girl you hit fifty million followers on Instagram since your deal with that big company “ Stacy said while looking at Autumn.
“Yeah, my fans can’t wait for the twins shot, “ Autumn said and looked at Delaney who was busy checking her phone. She checked her Instagram page and realized she is still thirty five million. She was boiling inside.
“Even me, I can’t wait too,” Brielle said with a mouth full of food.
“Be careful, so you won’t choke,” Dalton said and cleaned her lip.
“I don’t think the deal will work out,” Autumn said sadly.
“What, why?” Brielle asked.
“Delaney said she is not going with the deal, so I don’t have a twin sister” Autumn said and they all focus on Delaney but she didn’t even look up from her phone.
“Why? That is like a big achievement, why would someone want to reject that” Stacy said which made Delaney glare at her.
“I was wishing I could be in your shoes, I don’t even know if someone will want to reject that” Brielle said.
“Really? You wish to model with me?” Autumn asked.
“Who doesn’t” Brielle said.
“Then let’s do it together, I am going to talk to the CEO of the company, I am so happy right now” Autumn said.
“Really I can do that?” Brielle asked with widened eyes.
“That is if you want,” Autumn said.
“I do, I really do, thank you so much, you don’t know how happy that makes me, you are the best person in the world” Brielle said almost at the edge of tears. She was really happy, that has been her dream right from when she was young and now she is going to start with a big company.
“The moment the news is out, you will become really popular, I can’t wait for people to see your pretty cute face,” Stacy said and touched her cheeks. She looks at Dalton and they smile at each other. Delaney was watching everything silently.
“But Delaney, why didn’t you want to do it, that is a really big shot” Stacy asked.
“What gives you the gut to question me, is it the fact that I am hanging around with you or because my brother helped you once, you should know your place as a maid and stop bugging me, this is becoming irritating” Delaney yelled at her before leaving. Stacy looks down in shame as the student stares at her, now they know she is just a maid. Francisco runs after her while Autumn watches sadly. He caught us as she was about to enter the class and grabbed her arm.
“Why did you do that to her? She sees you as a friend,” he asked.
“Did I look like I care? I am an Everests, I won’t let any peasant disrespect me” she yelled.
“You are unbelievable” he shook his head.
“Are you finding that out?” She asked with a smirk.
“ I regret liking you,” he muttered.
“Too bad you can’t stop,” she smirks and walks away.
“I am in deep sh*t” Francisco said and ruffled his hair.

“Sir, I want to tell you something important” Nancy said, she had a smile on her face, with the thing she had prepared,she was very sure Adelaide is doomed.
“What is it all about?” Noah asked.
“About her” she asked and pointed at Adelaide who quickly focused on her.
“Really?” Noah asked.
“Yes this lady has been doing some things in this company, let me start with her seduction, she is acting so cheap and seducing all the men here, you could have seen the way she was romancing your friend, same thing with your brother, I think she is here to ruin this company” Nancy said. Adelaide was looking at her in shock, she knows that Nancy doesn’t like her but she didn’t know she will go to this extent in order to tarnish her name.
“I didn’t do that, what are you saying?” Adelaide asked, she was afraid Noah might believe her and that is another problem.
“You know what I am talking about, all your plans about running this company, I am sure you were sent by the opponent” Nancy said.
“You are saying rubbish” Adelaide said and stood up from her seat.
“Of course, I am not” Nancy said and went to carry Adelaide bag, she poured the contents down and a diamond ring fell from the bag, Nancy picked it up from the floor and pointed it to Noah.
“She stole this, I saw her do it,” she said. Noah opened his drawer and the ring was truly gone.
“I didn’t steal that, what are you saying?” Adelaide yelled, she was getting tired of the girl.
“So you did all this just because you want me?” Noah suddenly asked and Nancy stopped talking immediately.
“What do you mean sir?” She asked.
“You are really sick in the head, follow me now” Noah said and grabbed Adelaide hand, Nancy followed them, still in confusion.
“Everybody gather around” Noah shouted using the broadcasting microphone and the workers are already present within some minutes.
“I have to address something” he said and raised Adelaide hand up.
“You see this lady here, no one,when I say no one, I mean one is allowed to bully her” he said and there was a lot of murmuring.
“No one is allowed to lay a hand on her because she is my wife” he said and all their eyes widened. Two of the girls that bullied her fainted immediately. Nancy wasn’t sure maybe she was hearing well, she looked at Adelaide fingers and saw the same diamond ring on it, why haven’t she noticed this, why haven’t she.
“This is a final warning to other workers. A group of ladies bullied my wife some hours ago. They are here fired from this company and they won’t be able to secure any job from any other companies, which means they are ruined.
“That is what they get for disrespecting Mrs Everest Adelaide” he said.
“No no” Nancy said before fainting.
