Elos grunted and tried to move his body but couldn’t, the hand on his shoulder prevented him from taking even a step. He wasn’t fast enough to dodge Zinedine. He didn’t know how the wolf did it so he couldn’t move from where he was.
“Like I told you, I don’t want your blood around this house so I am going to give you a chance, tell me who sent you and why you came here with your real self?”
Elos tried to look behind him, at least to look into Zinedine’s eyes when he replied but for whatever reason, his neck refused to follow his instruction. “If I tell you I die and if I don’t, I still die, isn’t that what you said?”
Zinedine looked at the people in the dining room one after the other before he finally got to Osiris’ turn and his nose flared. “I don’t have time for your nonsense.
I will make sure I spill your blood from every part of your body and will boil your teeth, hope you will be ready because you have given me the opportunity to explore and I won’t disappoint you.” He told Elos and just like the way he did Ezra, Elos was gone.
The answers to his questions were much more important than a silly bloody fight.
“You both can leave right now.” Zinedine said to one in particular and when none of them moved, his gaze went to Alpha Romulus. “You know I was referring to you and your daughter. Get out, the dinner is over and those fucking vampires aren’t coming.”
Viva needed no one to tell her twice, she couldn’t believe her eyes, the man she had paid to kill Samira just got defeated without any bloodshed. She was angry and tried to control her anger as she and her father left the dining room and the premises, driving back to their own home.
“What did you do to Adelena, Zinedine?” Osiris asked.
“I went to visit her and saw something else.”
“You visited her?” Osiris eyes were round like sauce. “Why?”
“To warn her and her son not to step their foot here.”
“How could you!? Do you know what you have just cost? You just cost a lifetime deal!!?” Osiris yelled.
Leander and Sebastian both smiled at their father’s outburst.
“Dad, that isn’t important, in fact if I tell you what I saw, your lifetime deal will be forgotten in a minute.”
“And what is so important?”
“Vlad.” Zinedine answered and went over to meet Osiris, standing close to him, staring into his eyes, his eyes sparkling in thunder.
“What happened to Vlad?” Osiris swallowed hard and he wondered if Zinedine knows something he doesn’t know yet.
“He looks like me so I am going to ask you this once and you better not lie, who is Vlad to me Osiris?” Zinedine demanded as he stared hard at his father, suddenly he smiled. “Your eyes have told me what I need to know,” and then looked at his son. “Vlad is truly my brother.”
The loud gasp from the table proves that no one was expecting such revelation and they were indeed shocked.
Osiris cursed himself inwardly. He had forgotten that Zinedine possesses the power his late wife has and had now allowed Zinedine use his thunder eyes to see one of the things he dreaded because he let it slip and show it in his eyes, his one of fears. It was a mistake which won’t be happening again.
“Osiris, let’s go and chat privately.” Zinedine said and within a twink of an eye, they were both gone.
