Leander waited a while before speaking as he returned his gaze back to Vlad. “Normally, I always wondered if vampires are dumb but you just proved that, I told you to leave and you are still here, staring at me, do I look like your long lost love?” He said with a smirk which he knew would provoke the vampire.

He has things to concentrate on and the presence of the vampire and his scent that smells like a rotten body hasn’t given him any breathing space of fresh air.

Vlad was angry but he controlled himself. “I will so make you regret talking to me in this rude manner.” He promised in a threaten voice. Leander had disrespected him and he won’t take it lightly.

“I wasn’t being rude. We were having a normal conversation so leave while you are still in one piece.”

“Zinedine was right, you don’t know how to do business like him. I had told him I chose you instead of him and he laughed and told me you are not capable of handling my business and he was right. You are still a child just like he said.” Vlad said, getting up to his feet.

He decided to lie using Zinedine’s name. If he provokes Leander with lies, he might stand a chance of collaborating with him.

“As you are leaving, tell Zinedine to come right here and say that to my face.” Leander gritted out.

Seeing that none of his tricks were working. He was gone like a wind and everything returned back to normal.

Hannah entered the office. “He wouldn’t go sir.” she announced.

“Don’t worry, I have taken care of it. Just go back to your post and remind me of my appointments once it’s time.” Leander told her.

“Yes sir.” She left the office to her.

Vlad had never been insulted all his life the way he was insulted today. His chauffeur opened the car door for him and as he was about to enter he sighted the youngest son of the Wilderwood driving in.

He wondered if he could convince this one to collaborate with him. It will be easy, he is the youngest and he will be more focused on making their company have more profit than loss. So he approached Sebastian who had parked his car and was coming down.

“Hello, my name is Vlad Whitlock,” Vlad began, introducing himself as he stretched forth his hand for a handshake. “I have been waiting for you to talk about some business deals, you must have heard my name.”

“Not interested in whatever you have to say,” Sebastian said as he walked past Vlad, ignoring his outstretched hand. “And your name doesn’t sound important.” he added as he headed for the building not seeing the way Vlad’s eyes glowed briefly.

Vlad entered his car and was out of the premises. He decided he would carry on with his plan A since his plan B didn’t work out as planned. This time around the Wilderwood brother’s won’t know what hit them, especially Zinedine. He will strike them a big blow that will take forever healing.

He closed his eyes and smirked behind his mask.

Eleanor’s Home:

Zinedine stopped his car in front of the house he had left late last night and before he could get down from his car, the front door opened and Samira came out and waited for him to come close to her before surprising him with a kiss.

“You are excited to see me?” Zinedine asked as her lips were not on his again. Seeing Samira had made him forget about Hiro’s message.

“I thought you were not coming to pick us.”

“Why would you think of that Mi Tesoro?” He said as he pressed her body against him placing soft kisses along her neck. “I was just occupied by the thoughts of what you told me.”

“I told you to forget it and that it was all in the past.” Samira told him. Just that Romulus should make sure their path doesn’t cross. “Come inside, Hiro has been waiting for you.” she added and went back inside the house not seeing the slight shiver from Zinedine who followed her.

“Hiro! Hiro!! Come down there is someone I want you to meet.” Samira shouted as Eleanor left the living room, excusing herself as she went into her room to start packing her clothes.

Zinedine didn’t sit down, he waited for Hiro.
