“Elos once said there is a talking voice in his head that sometimes tells him what to do. He said the voice had saved him and now he is a servant to it.” Ezra told him.

“And he told you this willingly?” Zinedine looked at Ezra suspiciously. He didn’t want to kill him just wanted to scare him a bit.

“No, he was drunk.”

“So because someone is drunk, whatever he or she says is the truth?” He asked again.

“No, Elos is the type we know that doesn’t talk much, he is a truthful person and has no reason to lie. When he was sober and I asked him if he remembered what he told us he said in his words ‘we should forget about what he said.’ he didn’t deny it and that’s how we knew it was true and don bring up the topic again.” Ezra explained.

“Hmmm, interesting.” Zinedine mused.

“I am surprised you fought and killed him because with the way he spoke about the voice in his head, it made him look untouchable.” Ezra explained further.

“I didn’t kill him, the one who followed you that night was his illusion, he knew you guys will be caught which brings me to my next question, you told me you had invisibility power, right?” at Ezra nod of head he continued. “Why are you not using it now since you are not tied?”

“You will catch me easily.” Ezra answered, the thought had crossed his mind and he could have done that if he didn’t remember that this was Zinedine that was standing in front of him and not some normal wolf.

“Since you don’t know who sent you, you are of no use to me.” Zinedine said

“Please don’t kill me, I will gladly serve you, I will do whatever you want me to do.” Ezra didn’t get to finish his words when he was gone and once again he was welcome by darkness.

“Did you kill him?”

“No, I sent him back to the place he was before.”

“Yes, I did promise that and that’s why apart from Ezra, this is the second reason we are here.” Zinedine said facing his son. “Let’s sit down.” he added and without waiting for his son to ask where, he sat down on the ground, in front of his car. Hiro followed suit immediately.

“I don’t get it Dad.” Hiro suddenly said.

“Don’t get what?” Zinedine furrowed his forehead.

“You are really strong but my grandfather isn’t, how is that possible?”

“Osiris is a strong Alpha, he comes from the lineage of the first wolf Alpha created by the goddess of light and love to live with authority over other wolves.”

“Still yet that doesn’t explain your powers Dad. Grandpa doesn’t have one, does he?”

“Not really, no.” Zinedine answered. The only thing he inherited from his father are the looks and hair. That’s all. “Somehow, I have this strong feeling that I got this power from my mother but who she is, I don’t know or can’t remember and that pisses me off.” he added. He could only remember her back but not her face.

“Why are you called the Millennium Wolf?”

“It means I am the strongest of not only the wolves and all Alphas but the other creatures as well, but I don’t like showing my authority over them. So I let vampires, demons, fairies you name it be and just focus on myself, unless you step over my boundaries and that’s what I don’t like.

When I lay my claim on something or someone and you try to take it away from me then you will bring out the deadly monster in me.” Zinedine said. And that’s when my hair changes. He thought to himself. He had discovered that the day he found out Samira had run away, the little one back then couldn’t control it but luckily, the thought of Samira had calmed him down. He told no one this.

“But what if,” Hiro began bringing Zinedine back to reality.

“What if what?” Zinedine asked with curiosity.

“What if your mother was also a Millennium wolf, have you ever given it a thought, Dad?”
