Zinedine House:
“What? Please don’t tell me it’s my Vlad?” Lia asked hoping Rozralas was just pulling her legs.
“How many Vlad do you know in all your life on earth?”
“Don’t bring that up, you know what I mean.”
“I just told you it’s your crush and you are still asking me.”
“How is it my crush? He isn’t a Millennium, he is just a Vampire.”
“Not just an ordinary vampire, A Vampire King,” Rozralas reminded Lia.
“Everyone knows that but why are we targeting Vlad and Hiro?”
“Okay, I will tell you what I know.” Rozralas uttered. “Do you know what a protector is?”
“To protect someone or something, it’s already in the name ‘Protector’ so what’s new about it?” Lia demanded impatiently.
“Yes, Vlad is a protector.”
“I don’t understand, a protector to what?”
“In ancient days there was only one protector who would protect whoever he or she was assigned to protect. Now you may not know but once the Equinox comes, the Millennium Wolf will be powerless and be in a state of a peaceful death until the Equinox is gone.” Rozralas explained further.
“I still don’t get it.”
“The protectors always come in two, they are always born as twins. One of them would be the Millennium and the other one is the protector.”
“Then shouldn’t our focus be on Zinedine since he is a Millennium Wolf King and not on his son who carried just his genes?” Lia said aloud in thoughts.
“That is what I have been thinking,” Rozralas said.
Zinedine is the Millennium here but why is Nevera after Hiro? Is there something in Hiro that she is yet to know and Nevera knows?
“Do you think our master has something hidden under his sleeves?” Lia asked, bringing the demon out of her thoughts.
“Maybe, I will find out what he is hiding.” Rozralas answered with seriousness. “Until then, you should go and tell your crush about your love for him.” She added.
“But master has him in his plan already. I don’t want him hurt but you know master, he will hurt him.”
“Oh, but Hiro can get hurt?” Rozralas blurted out.
“They are not the same, you don’t like Hiro like I do with Vlad. That vampire has been my crush since the first day I saw him years ago. You don’t have any love interest so you wouldn’t understand.” Lia said.
“I understand you perfectly Lia, I do have someone in my heart.” Rozralas revealed and smiled slyly. “You won’t believe it if I tell you who it is.”
“I won’t even ask you,” Lia said. “I am going to take your advice and look for Vlad, I don’t want him to think he is stupid by confessing to me. So see you later.”

Hiro’s Room:
Vlad didn’t even bother to knock and let himself inside. He was surprised when he touched the door knob and push, it gave way for him; he had thought Hiro would have locked the door to prevent anyone from coming in.
Vlad saw Hiro sprawled on his bed, one of his arms was on top of his eyes.
“What do you want, uncle?”
“You shouldn’t have meddled with me and Lia, I have got everything under control.”
“I helped you real quick in the situation Uncle, you should be thanking me that at least I made you confess your feelings to her.”
“After you told her, I decided to confess my feelings to her and she ran away.” Vlad said and leaned forward to hold onto the edge of the bed Hiro was sleeping on and lifted it up abruptly and watched as Hiro fell to the ground with a thud. He smiled and dropped the bed to its position he had met it.
“What was that for?” Hiro groaned, getting up to his feet and glaring at his uncle.
