“I already made arrangements” Zane said to Kai and Gary
“You’re going to a place that far for your wife?” Gary asked
“I own that place and I’m obviously not complaining” Zane rolled his eyes
“Is Layla coming along?” Gary asked
“Annalise won’t go without her so yes she’s coming along” Zane replied
Kai suddenly stood up after checking his phone
“Where are you going?” Gary asked
“Somewhere” Kai replied shortly before leaving
“Where is he going?” Zane asked Gary
“Somewhere” Gary responded staring at nothing..

“Finally!!” Annalise shrieked throwing her arms in the air
“The best day of my life!” Layla screamed too
“I’m going to my Zanie’s office right now” Annalise said
“Why?”
“He promised me a surprise after my exams, quick let’s go as I’m sure you want to see your Kai too”
Layla turned elsewhere her cheeks turned light shade of red as Annalise called him her Kai
“I’m going with you because you’re my friend”
“I know” Annalise nodded
They turned to leave but stopped abruptly when they saw Charlotte, Emma and Olivia in front of them, Annalise hiccupped in fear
They haven’t been able to see them or more like Charlotte and her friends haven’t cause them any trouble since the incident and they haven’t sued them either considering the fact that Charlotte’s fathΓ© holds much power
“Hi” Annalise waved nervously with a forged
“Anna….”
“It wasn’t my fault you girls were injured, it’s just that Zanie hates seeing me hurt that’s why….”
“Flaunting your love wasn’t what I wanted to hear” Charlotte rolled her eyes while Annalise kept shut
“And Zanie?” Charlotte asked
“That’s what she’s been calling him recently” Layla replied
“Whatever, I’m not here for trouble” Charlotte said
Annalise and Layla opened their eyes in shock, since when did Charlotte not come to them for trouble
“Really?” Annalise asked and Charlotte nodded slowly
“Then why are you here?” Layla asked
“I’ve decided to not hold unto Zane any longer, I want to let him go to set him free” Charlotte said dramatically
Annalise and Layla blinked blankly at them, they were shocked, Charlotte wanted to let go of her obsession over Zane?
What walked into her or… Or perhaps was is a prank?
“Are there some cameras around?” Annalise whispered to Layla
“I don’t see one anywhere” Layla whispered back
“Is this some kind of pranks?” Annalise asked loudly
“Do I look that stupid to you?” Charlotte asked back
“Obviously” Layla scoffed silently
“What?” Charlotte asked
“Nothing” Layla shook her head smiling
“What walked into you?, What’s inside Charlotte’s body come out now!!” Annalise screamed
“Have you gone mad?” Charlotte yelled as Annalise ran around her like some prayer warrior
“That question should be directed to the spirit inside you”
“Lisa” Annalise heard her name, it was Zane he was the only one that called her Lisa, her eyes brightened
“Zane” she jumped on him with a hug
“Oh what love does” Charlotte sniffed dramatically cleaning imaginary tears off her eyes
“Never knew you were this weird” Layla muttered walking away from them
“I wanted to come to your office” Annalise said
“Really? but I’m here now we’ll go together”
“Where’s the surprise you told me about”
“I was thinking of having a drink with the guys will you girls tag along, I’ll show you there”
“So we’re going home now?” Annalise asked
“Yes” Zane nodded and she stopped
“What?” He asked
“I want a piggy ride” she said
“Now?, Here?” He asked looking around at the students who stopped
“Yes” she nodded pouting
Zane sighed and bent low, she smiled and climbed on his back, Zane turned to Layla who trailed behind them
“Oh and Kai is waiting for you” he smiled mischievously and left with Annalise on his back
“See you tonight” Annalise waved
“He didn’t have to smile while saying it” Layla tched and shook her head, her cheeks heating up with a blush
She walked outside and found Gary?, Where’s Kai then?
