“He’s just hurt” he said after long moments of silence
“What?!” She asked in confusion
“He’s hurt, he doesn’t like it when people betray him” Kai said again
“It isn’t my fault, I just had to do it” she replied
“You could’ve said something Frenchie” he said
“I’m sorry”
“I do understand you though and I’m proud you did the right thing” he ruffled her hair and left
“Thank you” she muttered and smiled

“I proud of what you did for Frenchie hubby” Annalise said stroking Zane’s hair
He had his head on her boobs as they laid on the bed in their room, he smiled
“Gary brought the idea tho” Zane said and Annalise raised her brows
“Really?” She asked
“Hmm” he hummed
“Then I’m proud of him too, tho he’s been giving Frenchie the cold shoulder”
“Just leave Gary and his drama, he’ll come around soon he doesn’t stay mad for long”
“You seem to know him so well”
“We’ve all been friends since the second year of high school what do you expect?”
Annalise raised her brows in surprise, now that’s a long time
“Layla and I know each other since college since college first year, but high school? Wow you’ll know him like the back of your palm”
“Yes, he’s an open book and trust me Kai and I are the real heroes to the fact that we’ve been putting up with all of his dramas
“There was a time he even said he said he was g.ay when he had a crush on a tomboy he had thought to be a boy, I could remember Kai always avoided him until he got his brain back”
Annalise laughed hard, she tried to imagine the dramatic Gary acting up and thinking he was gay, anyone would know he’s a straight guy
“My mom even supported him and introduced him to an app, a dating sight for gays” Zane added and Annalise laughter increased
She knew how Cassandra could be, those two were a dramatic set, Annalise shook her head
“He once had a cat he named wifey, we were also in highschool, when it died Gary wouldn’t stop wailing and bawling like a kid on the train on our way back home, when people asked him
‘my wifey died, she was so beautiful and white and her skin were flawless, she was calm and quiet, she was such a sweet heart, I miss her!!’
“A woman asked if he wasn’t too young to have a wife, Kai told her his wifey was his dead cat
“Immediately people lost interest and continued their business but Gary wouldn’t stop wailing noisily”
By the time Zane was done Annalise was in a fit of laughter, she was htting him as tears rolled her down her eyes

“Gary’s a TV show on his own” she said laughing
Zane smiled as he watched her laugh, now that he looked closely she had a cute smile that suits her cute face, he leaned in pecked her lips
“What was that for?” She asked in surprise
“You’re cute” he said
“And I love you” she smiled and fell on him with a hug, she kssed him.
