Frenchie kept gasping for breath and tried releasing Gary’s grip from her neck but he only gripped it tighter
That was the scene Kai who had accompanied Layla to her room met
“What the fk dude?!” Kai yelled pushing Gary off Frenchie who scurried to a corner gasping for breath while holding her neck
Frenchie kept gasping as tears rolled down her face, she looked horrified as she stared from Layla who knelt beside her to Kai who was holding Gary off and then Gary who was still glaring at her
“The fk is wrong with you dude?” Kai asked
“It’s okay Frenchie, it’s okay” Layla kept whispering as she stroked Frenchie’s hair
“You got something to say secretary?, Huh??” Gary asked glaring at Frenchie
Both Zane and Kai knew Gary could have a nasty temper most times but it was always over serious issues
Frenchie gulped down nothing.

“I’m an assassin, I was sent by Lex to uhh” Frenchie gulped as she stared at everyone that was present
That included Zane, Annalise and Marissa
“T.. To uh create an opening for him by being your secretary, I honestly don’t know what your deal was with him but he ordered me to come into your life as y.. your secretary
“I was given just three weeks to get the job done b… But you seemed hard s.. so I decided to get closer through Anna and Layla”
Zane frowned at this and instinctively pulled Annalise closer
“I.. I honestly didn’t have intention of hurting them, and for some reason I didn’t report anything else to Lex, I just kept postponing”
“But why?” That was Annalise, she felt hurt that someone she had looked up to like an elder sister had intentions of hurting her Zane
“Because I would feel bad seeing you hurt.. I know how much you adore Zane, you can’t even go a day without seeing him… And you”
Frenchie turned to Layla
“You really like Kai..”
Gary felt his heart stung at this.. though this was the wrong time he just couldn’t help himself
“It’s not like I couldn’t do it, I just didn’t want to… I’ve seen many people get hurt and I don’t care but this just felt different
“So uhh when Mr Gary invited me on this vacation I thought maybe it could be a little break.
I blocked Lex’s for the time being, I wanted to enjoy this vacation at least for a few weeks
“Until he called me tonight, he… He threatened to hurt my little sister if I didn’t do the job within the next two weeks”
“You have a sister?” Layla asked
“Yes.. my mom only told me about her when she was about to die, she had hidden her in a small town in Spain, I paid her a visit once but never again, I had no idea Lex would know about her”
“Why did you work for him then?” Annalise asked
“Because of dad, he had loved gambling so much that he could do anything for it, we didn’t have money anymore so he borrowed from Lex but he couldn’t pay back
“He didn’t stop borrowing though, he spent it on gambling and on women eventually he used me as a the payment, I’ve always been working for Lex ever since
“I once asked him to let me go but he called a huge amount for my freedom.
I lost hope and continued klling until now, he told me that he’d let me go if I get just this one job done
“I didn’t want to until he called tonight, he had found out about my sister and was using her to force me now…
I wanted to talk to Layla and Annalise for help until he saw me” Frenchie said referring to Gary who didn’t have a single emotion on his face.
