CHAPTER 94

“Gina? Are you there already?, But it’s not 6 yet”

“I’m not sure I can make it anymore Layla” Gina said

“Why?”

“Uh.. something came up but maybe we can have it tomorrow”

“Are you sure, you don’t sound too well” Layla asked

“I’m perf…. Perfectly fine” Gina said with a sniff and hung up the call

Layla sighed, she already knew who was behind Gina’s sudden change of mind

“Kai” she frowned and folded her arms looking at the cute handsome man that looked so innocent while staring at something on his phone

“Is there a problem? Is the food ready yet?” He asked with an innocent gaze

“Did you call Gina?”

“Oh yeah, I told her to change plans,you can go with her tomorrow but not today” he shrugged and she sighed in total frustration

“Oh God, remind me why I’m dating you again?” She asked and pinched the bridge of her nose

“Because you love me and I’m too irresistible” he replied and walked to her while she glared at him

“If the food isn’t ready yet I would love the one in front of me” he held her waist and bent to her level

“I suggest you turn off the cooker” he whispered and bit her earlobe, she bit her lips to stop herself from moaning

His hands went into her shirt and pinched her tip and that was it….

“I’ve got the location of the person” Frenchie said and turned her laptop to Gary, Kai and Zane

“Lex ran off from his usual hideout and he hasn’t been to his company either, she’s the only one that might know his current location” Zane said

“Then, Gary and Frenchie can get her” Kai said and Gary glared at him,but he ignored Gary as usual

“Why don’t you two go?” Gary asked

“I’ll still try to hack in if I can get his location” Kai replied

“I still need to take care of my pregnant wife” Zane said

“Your wife is okay without you and besides your hawk of a mom will watch over her” Gary said but Zane only gave him a thumbs up, again and they left

“And there they go again” he sighed and turned coldly to Frenchie who didn’t say a word

“Let’s go” he said to Frenchie who nodded and grabbed her laptop, following silently behind him

They stopped in a crowdy street, it was dusk already

“This is it”

“You know the house?” Gary asked staring around

“Yes”

“Then go on, I’ll be here watching your back” gray nudged and Frenchie left without a word

“Why is she being really obedient?” He frowned

Frenchie walked into a building and climbed the stairs, heading for the third and last floor.

The building was far from where Gary’s car was parked but she could see the car, not clearly tho

It was a perfect view, Whitney chose this floor and the last room for this reason, she could see far ahead and also make a run for it from behind

“Wise and smart” Frenchie acknowledged

She nodded on the door and put on her face mask, she heard footsteps approach the door and it opened revealing an old woman.
