Three weeks later, the wedding kicked off. The hall was dressed beautifully. Everywhere in the hall was sparkling with light, balloons, and ribbons, even the stage where the bride and groom would be sitting.
Meanwhile, Jayden was in the five-star hotel room they booked, he was dressing up along with her brother and Lucas. Jayden was dressed in a designer suit with a blue necktie. on his wrist was a silver wristwatch and on his feet was a shining oxford lace-up square cap toe leather shoe whose appearance alone foretold how expensive it was. he was looking sophisticated. his thin pink lips matched his well-carved V-face and charming temple making him look like a model. his hair was styled sideways and it glittered.
Theo and Ryan were dressed in the same way as Jayden. except for Lucas who dressed in a gray suit and designer buckled shoes.
“Wow bro, you look breathtaking”. Ryan praised.
” It is his day, so he should look beautiful for his wife”. Lucas said.
“I can’t wait to have my own wedding soon”. Ryan said.
” Have you proposed to Mia?”Jayden asked.
“Not yet, waiting to do it on her birthday”. he said.
” When it’s her birthday?”.Theo asked.
“Next month”.
” Woah, congrats men!”. Lucas said and they smiled.
Maya was also in her room getting dressed with the girls. Maya looked gorgeous in her tulle wedding ball gown, scoop neckline with lace embroidery sleeves making her look elegant. her jewelers were made from the purest form of diamond as they glitter. She wore dreamlike white and gold jeweled shoes and her hair was styled half-up crossover braids with a few curly strands falling over her face.
She wore light waterproof makeup. Diana and Mia were her bridesmaids same as Lisa, they were dressed in a blush pink bridesmaid gown and block print designer shoes and their hair was styled the same in a loose bun.
“Wow, I bet if Jayden could take his eyes off you”. Diana said.
” Gosh! You look beautiful”. Lisa said.
“Thank you”. Maya smile.
” Your wedding is going to be the talk of the town”.Mia said.
“Yeah, but I am so nervous right now”.
” Don’t be, is your day and you are going to make the best of it”.Diana said.
“Now let’s do this, but before that, let’s take a selfie”. Mia said, they came together and took some pictures.

Some minutes later, everyone was already present in the hall waiting for the couple, Soon Jayden and his brother entered the hall and the crowd stood up to honor them as they walked majestically to where the priest was standing on the stage.
” Look at my son, he looks so handsome “. Mrs.williams said smiling.
” Yeah, I am super happy to see this day”. Mr. Williams said.
“Me too”. Mrs.williams said.
” Today is indeed a happy day”. Ma.lucy said.
“Yes”. Mrs.williams smiles.
Just then the wedding melody echoed in the hall, and everyone stood up to welcome the bride as she stepped onto the high platform on the long red carpet along with her bridesmaids and flower girls. Ella was among the flower girls who were throwing flowers on the ground for the bride to pass through, the bridesmaid was in order with Maya in the center and Lucas holding her hand. Everyone gasped amazingly at her beauty as her face was covered with a veil while she held a bouquet of flowers.
” Oh my gosh! Look at her wedding dress”.Linda said.
“I am so happy”. Andrea said.
” I feel like crying”.Lucy said.
“Me too, Hayden looks at Mummy, isn’t she beautiful?”. Linda said talking to Hayden in her arms and smiling.
” Wow, she is so beautiful”. Ms. Queen smiled at her.
“She deserves the best”. Angela said.
” Sure, I can’t wait for my wedding too”.Becky said.
Jayden eyes were clued on her, he couldn’t help but feel happiness overwhelming him, Maya came closer both were smiling lovingly at each other.
“Jayden, I entrust my sister to you from now on”. Lucas solemnly put Maya’s hand on his palm.
“Trust me, I will”. Jayden took her hand and clenched it tenderly. his eyes ridden suddenly out of strong emotions.
They face the priest and say a word of encouragement from the Bible, after that, he gives them the wedding rings to exchange vows together.
“They say fairytales are overrated, and I believe them. I mean, is there even a happily ever after? Who knows? But when I met you, it seemed like fairytales might just exist, after all. How else would you explain the connection that we felt with each other? When I picture my life with you, a happily ever after does not feel too farfetched, and that is a lot coming from a skeptic like me! You have changed me for the better, love. if I extend my hand in the darkness, I will always find yours, ready to walk with me until we find the light at the end of the tunnel. You are my strength, the gust of joy that picks me up when I am at my lowest. With you, I have found love, and I never want to let you go. Thank you for choosing me over and over again, I love you so much Jayden”.She slipped the ring onto his finger and everyone cheered.
“In your heart, I have found love. In your arms, I have found a home. In your eyes, I have found passion. In your soul, I have found a gentle spirit, I will be a loyal lover in sorrow, triumph, distance, and closeness. I promise to build a life with you. I promise to cover you from the rain, shield you from the wind, and make a warm home for you inside my heart. I promise to stand with you against all your troubles and take care of you when you need protection, I love you, Maya”. He slips the ring onto her finger as both were crying emotionally including the crowd
” I now pronounced you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride”. The priest said.
Jayden pulls closer to her and takes off the veil, suddenly his lips clash with hers so passionately, that the crowd stands up cheering them up as the flower girls throw flowers at them, soon they break out from the kiss and turn to the crowd smiling, their friends and family rushed to the stage to congratulate them, a lot of photos was taken with press around taking record of the event and passing it to the air, for everyone to see the magnificent wedding.
Soon after, the wedding ceremony kicked off as the guests made merry and ate to their satisfaction, Mr.williams made a toast for the bride and groom and blessed their union. The MC of the day took the Mic and asked the couple to open the dance floor, Jayden and Maya moved to the stage, a cool romantic song was playing in the air and both were waltzing beautifully to the song.
“I am happy I found you”. Jayden said.
” Me too, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me”. Maya said and both were smiling at each other.
“I love you Maya, and I am happy I fell for you first”. He pulled her closer and locked lips with her softly.
Everyone watching them gasped amusedly at their romantic behavior. The dance was over and the Mc asked the bride to dance with her father-in-law while the groom danced with his in-law, Ma Lucy danced with Jayden and Maya danced with Mr.williams, they danced beautifully until the music ended and Maya danced with her brother while Jayden with his mother.
” You look beautiful kid sister, and I am happy for this day”. Lucas said.
“Thank you, so, when am I expecting yours?”. Maya asked.
” What?”.
“You know what I mean, when am I expecting your fiancee”. She said and Lucas laughed.” What’s funny?”.
“You are funny, kid sister, do I look like someone who is for a relationship?”.
” Don’t be ridiculous, everyone is opportune to find someone they love, you are not getting any younger you know”.
“Don’t worry about me, I am not ready for that, when the time comes, you will see it yourself”.
” I hope the time is now, look around, there are so many beautiful ladies melting after you”.
“Well, unfortunately, your big bro is not into any of them”. he smiled.
” You are unbelievable”. She frowned.
“You know you look more beautiful when you frown like that”. He teases.
” Yeah, right”. She scoffs.
“I love you”. he kissed her forehead.
” I love you too”.
They continued dancing until the dance ended and it was time for the cutting of the cake, the bride and groom came together as the spelling of “love” was made and they cut the cake, everyone cheered them up and lots of gifts were presented to them.
The party continued with everyone having fun and dancing with their partners, Jayden was having a chat with some of his clients while Maya was with the girls and Hayden with her.
“I am super excited, now you are married to the most handsome man in the world”. Mia said.
” Be careful, you don’t want Ryan to hear you say that”. Diana teased and they laughed.
“She is right “. Lisa said.
” Congratulations once again, we are proud of you”. Diana said.
“Thank you”. Maya replied.
They continued chatting, just then, Diana caught sight of Theo going to the balcony to receive a phone call, she excused herself and walked away.
Theo was on the phone with someone, Diana stood behind waiting for him to finish making the call.
” Ok, I will definitely look into it, sure, bye”. He hung up and sighed.
“Is everything okay?”. Diana asked from behind, Theo turned in her direction surprised to see her ” Hey”.She said
“Um, hey”. He said nervously, Diana moved closer to him.
” Is everything okay? You look pale after getting off the phone with someone”. She asked politely.
“Um, yeah, everything is fine, is just a business call”.
” Oh, I see”.
They went mute as the environment became awkward for the two of them.
“I”. both said simultaneously and they chuckled.
” You first”. Theo said
“Ok,”. she clears her throat nervously. ” um, I just want to say that I am sorry for the other day”.
“Come on Diana, you owe me no apologies, I totally understand everything, it’s cool by me”. he said.
“No is not, I mean”. She sighs confusedly.” I was wrong, I should have given my heart a second chance”.She said sadly.
“What are you talking about Diana?”.
” I just want to know if I can still get a second chance to your heart?”. She asked.
both became lost in each other eyes.
“Does this mean I got a second chance to court you?”. He asked curiously and Diana smiled.
” Yes, I am ready to open my heart to a new relationship”. She said.
Theo grabbed her waist and pulled her closer as their face were inches apart.
“And I promise to make it right this time”. He cupped her face and locked lips with her softly.
Diana responded quickly as she encircled her arms around his neck, they kissed and caressed each other passionately forgetting they were at the party and anybody could walk in on them.
The party ended with so much fun and excitement and they called it a night.
