The room was drenched in darkness, save for the flickering candlelight casting long, twisted shadows across the lavish space. It was a bedroom fit for a queen—or a monster, depending on who you asked. Silk sheets crumpled beneath them, the scent of expensive perfume heavy in the air. Siren, the infamous mafia queen, moved with predatory grace as she pinned the man beneath her, her long, raven hair cascading like a waterfall over her bare shoulders.
His breath was uneven, shallow, as though the air itself was being sucked from his lungs by her sheer presence. She was more than beautiful; she was lethal. A woman who commanded fear and loyalty in equal measure, her name whispered in the darkest corners of the underworld.
Siren’s eyes burned with a mixture of lust and malice as her fingers traced the man’s chest. The delicate touch of her nails quickly turned painful as they dug into his flesh, leaving marks. His chest heaved beneath her, not just from desire but from the undeniable fear of what she was capable of.
“I want Angel dead,” Siren whispered, her voice low and dripping with venom. Each word felt like a dagger in the air.
The man’s body tensed beneath her. He blinked, clearly caught off guard by her sudden declaration. “But Romano… he wants her alive,” he managed to gasp, trying to regain control of the situation despite the compromising position he was in.
Siren’s lips curled into a cold, sharp smile. She rolled her hips against his, asserting her dominance with every movement. “Romano ” she practically spat the name, “is a coward. A fool who clings to power he no longer deserves. I cannot allow that rat take what I want. Leonardo is mine and if I have to get rid of angel then I will do it” She said darkly.
She pretended to be someone else in other to have her but that bitch ruined everything and she was going to make her pay.
He gripped the silk sheets beneath him, trying to focus on something other than the escalating danger of this conversation. “Siren, you know he gave strict orders. We can’t—”
His words were cut short as she leaned in closer, her lips grazing his ear. “I don’t care what Romano wants,” she purred, her breath sending a shiver down his spine. Her teeth nipped at his earlobe, a sharp reminder of the razor’s edge he was dancing on. “I want her dead. I’ll carve her name into her tombstone myself.”
The man swallowed hard, his heart hammering in his chest. He wasn’t just afraid of disobeying Romano—he was terrified of the woman above him. “Killing Angel will trigger a war, Siren. Romano been making moves. We can’t afford to spoil it and also Leonardo will destroy us all”
Her laughter sliced through the room like a blade. She threw her head back, her dark hair tumbling in waves as her body moved with sinful purpose. “War?” She breathed, her eyes gleaming with wicked delight. “You think I’m afraid of war?”
Siren’s hands tightened around his throat—not hard enough to strangle, but enough to make her point clear. “I crave it. The blood, the chaos. I want to see the streets run red. I want romano on his knees, begging for mercy, and that little bitch Angel… I want her to suffer first. Slowly. And as for Leonardo I can take care of him”
The man squirmed beneath her, torn between his physical desire for her and the cold terror creeping through his veins. “This will come back on you,” he warned, his voice shaking. “Leonardo will not…
Siren’s eyes darkened, and her smile faded into something more sinister. She leaned down, her lips almost touching his. “I can handle Leonardo”
“You’re playing with fire, Siren,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Her smile returned, sharp and deadly. “Then let it burn.”
She leaned back, her body moving with a deliberate sensuality that kept him spellbound. But the tension in the room was thick, suffocating, as though the very walls were listening in on their deadly conversation. Siren’s fingers trailed down his chest, and just as his breath began to steady, the soft sound of a knock echoed from the heavy oak door.
“Capo,” a woman’s voice said from the other side. It was hushed, reverent. A maid, careful not to enter without permission. “There’s someone here to see you.”
Siren’s eyes flicked to the door, her lips twisting in mild annoyance. “Not now,” she called back, her voice still thick with the intoxication of power and desire.
The maid hesitated for a second, and the tension in the room grew. “But, Capo,” the maid pressed, her voice barely audible, “they said it’s important.”
Siren exhaled sharply, her mood instantly soured. She turned her gaze back to the man beneath her, a mixture of hunger and frustration flashing across her face. “Go,” she commanded him with a dismissive wave of her hand. “Get dressed.”
He hesitated for a moment, as though debating whether to say something more. But the look in Siren’s eyes told him everything he needed to know—this conversation was over. He scrambled from the bed, pulling on his clothes with shaky hands.
As he dressed, Siren rose gracefully, her posture regal and commanding. She strode across the room toward a gilded mirror, her naked figure reflected back in the dim light. There was no shame, no vulnerability—just power. She picked up a silk robe and wrapped it around her body, tying it loosely at the waist.
Before the man could say another word, the door creaked open, and the maid stepped inside. She kept her eyes respectfully lowered, knowing better than to meet Siren’s gaze directly. “They’re waiting for you downstairs, Capo,” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
Siren glanced at the man one last time, her eyes narrowing. “Remember what we discussed,” she said, her voice low and dripping with warning.
He nodded quickly, swallowing the lump in his throat, and hurried out of the room, brushing past the maid without another word.
Once they were alone, Siren’s demeanor shifted. She turned to the maid, her expression unreadable. “Who is it?” she asked, her tone colder now.
The maid glanced up for just a second before lowering her gaze again. “It’s him, Capo.”
Siren’s lips twisted into a smile, the kind that could freeze blood. “Good.” She turned toward the door, her eyes gleaming with anticipation. “Let him wait.”
Here’s a revised version of the scene, reflecting that Angel and Leonardo are already a couple:
HEAD OVER HEELS : CHAPTER 71 – 80
Angel leaned against Leonardo’s desk, watching as he scrolled through emails, completely immersed in work. His office was quiet, save for the soft rustle of papers and the occasional clatter of the keyboard. “Serious! I am really angry that girl has the guts to do that” Angel hissed.
“You’re going to wear a hole in the floor pacing like that,” Leonardo teased, not looking up from his computer but clearly aware of her every move.
Angel rolled her eyes playfully. “Well, maybe if you weren’t so handsome or you have pushed her away. All this wouldn’t have been happening” Angel half yelled.
Leonardo smirked, finally glancing up at her. “I tried to but you wouldn’t let me beside your Bible defended you”
She shot him a look. “Touché.”
He laughed softly, leaning back in his leather chair, his eyes raking over her. “Come here,” he said, his voice dropping to that low, commanding tone that never failed to send a shiver down her spine.
Angel hesitated for a moment, pretending to be annoyed, but she couldn’t help the smile that tugged at her lips. “I should make you come to me,” she teased, but even as she said it, she pushed away from the desk and crossed the room toward him.
Leonardo’s smirk deepened as she approached. “Oh, should you now?”
Without another word, he grabbed her wrist gently, pulling her onto his lap. Angel yelped, half-laughing as she settled into his arms. His strong, warm hands wrapped around her waist, anchoring her in place.
“You always do that,” she murmured, trying to sound exasperated, but failing miserably.
“Do what?” Leonardo asked, his voice dripping with false innocence as his hands started a slow, deliberate path down her back.
“You know what.” She narrowed her eyes at him, though her tone was soft. “You always act like I’m some fragile little thing. Like you think I’ll break if you’re too rough.”
Leonardo’s eyes darkened, and a slow grin spread across his face. “That’s because you are fragile, sweetheart. Delicate. Innocent.” His lips brushed her neck, and she shivered involuntarily.
“Hey!” She squirmed in his lap, trying to maintain her composure, though his touch was making it hard. “You really think I am innocent?”
“Innocent?” He finished the sentence for her, his lips hovering just above her ear. “Well, you did try to resist me at first. Didn’t work, though, did it?”
Angel groaned. “You’re insufferable, you know that?”
Leonardo chuckled, the sound vibrating through his chest and into her. “You love it,” he whispered, pressing a kiss to her temple.
She sighed, half in defeat, half in contentment. He was right—she did love it. Despite his posse behavior, despite his scary reputation, she loved the way he made her feel. She felt safe in his arms, even though being with Leonardo meant being tangled up in a world far darker than the one she’d grown up in.
Her fingers toyed with the collar of his shirt as she leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. “I do love it. But I love you more,” she admitted, her voice soft.
Leonardo’s hands stilled for a moment, and she felt him take a breath. He tilted her chin up so she was looking directly into his eyes. “And I love you,” he said, his voice steady, the playful smirk gone, replaced by something deeper, more intense.
She smiled, her heart swelling at his words. Even though they’d been together for a while now, hearing him say it never got old. There was something about the way he looked at her, like she was the only thing that mattered in his world, that always made her feel special.
Leonardo’s lips found hers, and Angel melted into the kiss, her hands sliding up to cup his face. His kiss was slow and languid, as if they had all the time in the world. But just as things were beginning to heat up—
Ring!
The phone on Leonardo’s desk blared, cutting through the intimate moment like a cold splash of water. Angel pulled back, biting her lip to keep from laughing. Leonardo, however, looked less amused.
He sighed heavily, his forehead resting against hers for a moment before he turned to glance at the offending phone. “Of course,” he muttered, his frustration palpable.
“Maybe you should get that,” Angel suggested, still fighting a grin. She slid off his lap, giving him a light shove toward the phone.
“Maybe I shouldn’t,” he growled, pulling her back for another quick kiss before reluctantly picking up the receiver. “Yeah?” His tone was clipped, clearly irritated by the interruption.
Angel stood off to the side, straightening her clothes and stifling her laughter. Leonardo’s impatience was always amusing, especially when he got interrupted during one of their moments.
She watched as his expression shifted slightly, his brows knitting together. “The client?” he repeated, and then glanced over at Angel. “Yeah, I’ll be there in a minute.”
He hung up the phone and turned back to her, his frustration replaced by something more apologetic. “I’ve got to meet with the client,” he said, standing up from his chair and straightening his tie.
Angel sighed dramatically. “Of course you do.”
“We are going to continue this later. Don’t think you are going free” Leonardo said, and angel laughed.

This was not what she expected. She is trending everything like the wildfire going around.
